Hotel Galla in Milan

It was clean, sheets and towels provided smelled fresh, neighborhood seemed safe and it was easy to get to the city center. “Shared bathroom” turned out to be private bathroom but outside our room.Our only issue was weird smell in the bathroom.

Everything went super well for us. The room was clean when we arrived and they cleaned everyday. They also provided us with fresh towels each day. The staff was always really kind and willing to help.

I have picked this place as the cheapest single room available in the city, and I believe I got my money's worth. For a longer stay, I would certainly pay extra and get something nicer, but for the short stay where I spent most of the time outside and only came back for the night, it wasn't lacking anything.

My room had a shower and sink in it, the toilet was shared.

I saw there are shared fridges in the corridors, and some cheap coffee/tea options available at the reception, but I have not used these.

The room was clean and fresh when I arrived (the shower had limescale stains, but that's about it), there was soap provided.

I did not use TV, hair dryer or heating I so cannot tell how well these work.

Service was very nice and spoke fluent English, had absolutely no issues communicating.

The place is close to two metro lines, so it is a great starting point for trips. There are multiple small cafes in the area as well where you can eat cheap but climatic breakfast!

After reading the reviews and seeing the photos, I was a little scared to arrive at the hotel. But I found a renovated, clean, and comfortable hotel.
The owner was very friendly and told me that he bought the hotel six months ago and renovated everything. So these are the real and updated photos.
The guy at the front desk is respectful, attentive and very friendly.
I have nothing bad to say about the hotel. I had a good experience!
It's a one-star hotel, and it's good! You get what you paid for.
Tip: If you don't want to share a bathroom, make sure to book a room with a private bathroom. But I also saw the shared bathroom, and it was clean and nice.

Hotel is on a good location, 20 min by metro to Center of Milano, very friendly stuff and great service. Would like to go back, also price is really acepptable!
