It was excellent. The location was amazing, and the hotel was well-maintained and spotless. The service was great — it had everything I expect from a hotel. I had checked out so many places before choosing this one, and I’m really glad I did. From now on, I’ll definitely stay here every time I come. Highly recommended!

Excellent location, literally 25 metres from the metro exit. I chose this hotel for its proximity to La Scala, but the Duomo is only a few minutes away too! So well located. The atmosphere is like a pension, friendly, polite and helpful. The rooms are a very good size as they are slightly older, but very well maintained. The bed was comfortable and the hotel very quiet. Although it is in a central area, this is not an hotel that attracts lots of loud tourists. It is quite discrete. For Milan, the hotel was very good value for the time of year. I would definitely stay here again. In European cities it is always useful to have a few reliable hotels where you know what to expect if you travel there often.

The bed was super uncomfortable, the pillows are superhard and uncomfortable as well, and the worst part the room is super cold, it was warmer in the corridor than in the room, almost slept with the door open, when asked for a duvet I was offered a thin blanket. Probably have had one of the worst nights at a hotel.

A great location for central Milan. The Duomo is just round the corner and it is an easy walk to the other main attractions in central Milan.
And the hotel is close to the Duomo station for the M1, M2 and M3 Metro lines. Also the trams go past the hotel and there is a stop nearby.
Our room was nice and clean and spacious.
We included breakfast which was nice and set you up for the day.
Highly recommend if you are looking for a hotel close to the Duomo and not too expensive.

Only one block from the Milan Cathedral, Hotel La Madonina is perfect to situated. It is also on the bus line that takes you to the Last Supper. High end shops are within walking distance. Expensive restaurants are close by too so we asked the hotel manager if there were any more reasonable ones within walking distance. He actually recommended three, all of which were within one block of the hotel and catered more to locals. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

20 metres from the duomo square. Small, but nice modern bedroom and bathroom. Decent breakfast, and friendly staff. Milan’s tram system ,running to 2am ,in the centre, does create a lot of street noise… Still, enjoyed our 3 night stay here.

Second stay here. Very good rooms. Good breakfast and service. Security. Convenient location. Would recommend for average cost hotel near Duomo, metro, trams, shopping. Lift is small but serviceable. Only fault was that room safe didn't work.

I had an updated room which was nice. Ac was great and nice to come into since it was 100/38 out. Staff very friendly. Great location—steps away from the duomo. I had no issues with the noise from the street. Would def stay here again.

We had two rooms one single and one double. Our son had the single which was in the front of the hotel with a lovely view. Two windows that opened. Very bright and airy. This room was noisy with the street noise and the trolleys. The bathroom was nice. Our double room was at the back of building. There was zero light. When you opened the window and shutters you were facing a brick wall. The room was clean, the towels white and lovely, hot water. Very efficient shower. The bed hard and the pillows hard. There is a breakfast but we ate across the street. This hotel is central to the Duomo, shopping, restaurants. When you drive in you will not see a sign. The hotel has lettering on the wall but it is not visible. In spite of all the good features of this hotel I would not stay there again. I did not care for the atmosphere.

Hotel La Madonnina was EASILY the high-point of our 2-week visit to Italy. It is a beautiful place with the most wonderful staff. When you stay there you are so well-treated and cared for. This is a the perfect place to relax and spend some calm time enjoying the beautiful water. I mainly want to thank Francesco, who was brilliant in conducting a wine-tasting and Aldo, a first-class mixologist...both of whom make you feel you've made new friends. The room was large and comfortable. The views are spectacular. The restaurant is first class. I only wish we could have stayed longer at Hotel La Madonnina and would make it a point to come back next time we travel to Italy!
