The bathroom was filthy and had clearly not been properly cleaned in a long time. There was pink grime (normally Serratia bacteria) growing all over the tiles and the piece of string which was holding up the handheld shower head, there was visible limescale which had not been cleaned away. In addition the "rain" shower head was so poorly maintained it sprayed water upwards on the ceiling and the walls rather than down on the shower resident.
The single room was very small, any person over 6 foot would have been extremely uncomfortable in the bed.
On the positive side, it is 15 minutes to the Duomo and other beautiful sights of Milano.

The staff was fantastic - they made us feel welcomed and at home straightaway, we were given a room which was the perfect size for 2 adults and 2 kids, clean. Breakfast was lovely. Location very convenient to visit family who lives nearby.

Very convenient location 5 minutes from the metro, which is on a direct line from the central station.
