Hotel Delle Nazioni in Milan

I had a very unpleasant experience with the manager during my visit. In my personal experience, he was extremely rude and showed little professionalism when it came to handling time, payments, and refunds. When we requested a refund for a situation that was not our fault, he refused to cooperate and spoke to us in a disrespectful manner.

I also felt that his communication, especially towards women in our group, was discourteous and lacking basic hospitality standards. The overall service felt unpleasant, and I did not feel that guest comfort or safety was a priority.

Based on my experience, the management needs serious improvement in customer service, communication, and professionalism.

The worst experience during my 7 weeks Europe trip. We chose it because it was close to the station. We booked a room with bathtub as shown on their site. Not only that we didn't get it, but they sent us to another place around the corner, which was ok if the keys work properly. First there's a key to open the front gate, then there's a card to open the unit and another card to open the room, which didn't work. So they gave us a key instead. The room was boiling hot, no AC, we had to open the window which doesn't have a thick curtain. Not sure what the guests in the hotel across the street can see through our room.

Leaving the room the next day was no problem, but returning it in the evening, we couldn't open the room so we had to walk down then go around the corner to the main hotel. They sent someone to come with us to sort the lock issue out. This happened every night during our 3 nights stay, it was such a pain. You can see the photos of the lock to our room, so unprofessional. They had to took away the battery to open the door manually and even that's not enough. The key had to turn more than once till we heard a click before the door handle working. A total nuisance.

The elevator was so tiny, we couldn't bring our all of suitcases together with 2 person, so one of us had to wait for the second trip. Luckily our room was on the first floor, so we use the stairs instead.

The door was so heavy, so everytime the unit nextdoor came and go there was a loud bang and it happened every night after 1 am.

The room was so small, no luggage racks and not enough space to keep 2 suitcases open. The bed was already soft, we kept roll to the center of the bed and there's a big gap under the headboard so the pillows kept disappearing there.

Our stay was a total disaster.
