Hotel Due Giardini in Milan

Absolutely the worst hotel experience of my life. Staying at Hotel Due Giardini was not just disappointing — it was shocking. What we encountered wasn’t merely a lack of hospitality, but open disrespect, rudeness, unprofessionalism, and insolence. Upon our late arrival, we were informed that our room was not in the building we had booked. Instead, we were handed a key and given vague directions: “Go right, go straight, find the door, take the first floor…” — none of which made any sense. When we asked for proper guidance, the receptionist reluctantly agreed. No apology, no assistance — just indifference. The situation escalated during check-out. We requested to leave our luggage for a few hours, as is standard in most hotels. We were told there would be an extra for luggage leave— something we had never been informed about in advance. When we questioned this unexpected fee, the woman at reception yelled at us, telling us to “shut up” and “get out”. Unbelievable. To make things even more outrageous, she said: “You complain about extra charge, but you’re carrying a Gucci bag.” Since when is it acceptable for hotel staff to judge or comment on guests’ personal belongings? The man who introduced himself as the “manager” didn’t even attempt to communicate in English, insisting on speaking Italian despite our obvious confusion. Zero professionalism, zero courtesy. This was not just poor service — it was hostile, offensive, and completely unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Avoid at all costs.

Disappointment, small bathroom, broken shower, squalor... Never again was it so nice, you can't even get a glass of water... I always stayed overnight and it was really nice... the owners were very kind, nothing to say... But the b&b is unfortunately disappointing.

I stayed two nights... terrible hotel with an intense smell of humidity, dirty sheets with the presence of hair. At the reception when I reported the presence of hair on the sheets a very arrogant and rude lady told me that it was impossible. I strongly advise against this hotel.
