The hotel is not bad, but it's also far from perfect. It's quite far from the centre and the rooms were not ideal. The curtain had a massive stain and I couldn't make the AC work, but the beds were very comfortable. The hair dryer was so damaged that I was scared to touch it. They have breakfast, but it's 15 euros, so we bought some breakfast in the coffee place on the corner and it was 3 times cheaper.

We were there two weeks ago, and we had a good time there. The staff was so, so nice, kind and very helpful! The hotel was undergoing some type of reparation and the lobby was a bit chaotic, but it didn't really mattered to us. The rooms were big enough and with all type of commodities needed. Breakfast also had a bit of everything and was overall very good. Bad thing that Wi-Fi's connection was really unstable and we had to use our data because it barely worked. Hope they fix that for future guests.
It's true that it is a bit far from Milan's center, but you can always use the metro or taxis. There's a park right in front of there are some stores to buy food and basic stuff around as well.

The hotel is located in a good area, about a 15-minute walk from the metro station. There’s also a store nearby where you can buy essentials if needed.

The room was great clean and nicely decorated. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which made our stay even more comfortable. The bathroom was in decent condition clean and fairly well-maintained, though not perfect.

Another plus was the lift, which was very convenient. The area around the hotel is quiet, so we were able to relax and enjoy our stay.

The staff were very helpful and always answered our questions.

We didn’t have the opportunity to try the breakfast, so we can’t comment on that. The Wi-Fi connection was a bit inconsistent sometimes it worked well, but other times it didn’t work at all.

Overall, we had a great time here and would definitely recommend this place.

Me and my partner were very pleasant when we first arrived. Everything seemed clean and in order at first but then we noticed some weird stains on the towels. Even the ones that they put as new had stains on them which made us question the hygiene. The shower head seemed like it wasn’t cleaned for a very long time. But overall it was neat and bearable.

The breakfast was okay. I could only enjoy the coffee and croissants. There were also watery scrambled eggs and odd looking sausages being served. I only took one bite from the scrambled eggs and that was it for me. Not very good. The breakfast was not for me at all.

The wi-fi was horrible and so painful. It was very very disappointing.

The staff were friendly. Especially the one working in the breakfast area.

The location was not very enjoyable for me. I had very bad experiences the first day I arrived. I got weird comments and looks from men and heard some violent shoutings around the area. I did not feel safe as a woman, so I suggest not being alone in this area.

It was an okay to bad experience overall for its value.

What can I say? I went there because of its proximity to IEO, modest, shuttle bus quite expensive, modest welcome as well as treatment, no restaurant but with service with a take-away restaurant, problems to be able to eat in the room, I needed to rest, but the staff forced me to eat in the hall in a miserable room, in the face of the IEO agreement, I do not recommend it for health reasons, bar room and breakfast equally modest, I will not return, from the description the reality was disappointing. English: Dilapidated structure, unhelpful staff, outrageous price. Elevator NOT WORKING. Even if necessary I could not return. Room cost at the level of a 1 star, maybe 1 and a half stars. Extremely negative experience at the Rex hotel especially for the inhumane treatment received by booking in the morning at 11 am to stay another 2 days in their hotel requested due to various personal needs. They made us pay in advance, and without an agreement (as otherwise told us on the phone). In the afternoon at 5 pm we asked that we would have to leave urgently with the plane in the evening, and therefore if they could at least give us a partial refund, given that our names had not yet been registered and reported. The excuse from the Director was to say that in the 2 days requested and paid in advance, there were Medical Congresses scheduled on the same days, and instead there was an increase of and that therefore the price per room would change from 90.00 in agreement to 149.00 the next morning. So we paid for an additional 2 days the modest sum of about 300 (minus a few euros). Not even in the most famous holiday resorts. In my opinion unjustifiable, without any agreement with the IEO. We stayed in that hotel for 1 night and we spent quite a lot in relation to the type of hotel and what was offered… (I would say half a star, to be exaggerated) and we did not even “enjoy” the agreement with the IEO advertised abundantly both on the site and outside the structure! I do not understand why, if then the IEO does not check with whom it makes the agreements…. Absolute lack of respect towards all those people who must necessarily go to the IEO. I have no more words TO DESCRIBE ANYTHING ELSE, but above all I did not receive any refund, not even an apology

We stayed here for three weeks, Overall, my stay at the hotel was good. The staffs were attentive, my room was comfortable, and the amenities were great. However, the breakfast variety was a bit lacking. While the quality was good, there weren't as many options as I would have liked. Despite this, I still enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel to others.

I recommend this facility for their courtesy, helpfulness, cleanliness and professionalism. The free shuttle service to the IEO is great. The staff provides all the necessary information for travel and restaurants in the area.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at Hotel Rex Milano, and it pains me to say that it was one of the worst hotel experiences of my life. From the moment I walked through the door to the minute I checked out, the entire stay was marred by a combination of abysmal service and shocking quality.

Let's start with the service—or lack thereof. The staff at Hotel Rex Milano seemed utterly disinterested in providing even the most basic level of hospitality. The check-in process was slow and disorganized, with the receptionist displaying a level of indifference that bordered on rudeness. It felt as though I was inconveniencing them by being there.

The nightmare continued in my room. The cleanliness was subpar, with visible dust and grime in various corners. The linens appeared worn and had a distinct lack of freshness, leaving me questioning the overall hygiene standards of the establishment. Requests for additional towels were met with sighs and eye rolls, as if asking for basic amenities was an unreasonable burden.

The room itself was a study in disappointment. Outdated furnishings, peeling wallpaper, and a general lack of maintenance created an atmosphere that was far from the comfortable and inviting ambiance one would expect from a hotel. The bed was uncomfortable, and the air conditioning unit seemed to be stuck in a perpetual state of inadequacy, leaving the room either too hot or too cold, with no middle ground.

To make matters worse, the Wi-Fi was painfully slow, rendering any attempts to work or even browse the internet a frustrating exercise in patience. In a world where connectivity is crucial, such a fundamental flaw is unacceptable for a hotel claiming to offer modern amenities.

The dining experience at Hotel Rex Milano was equally disappointing. The breakfast, touted as a highlight, was a lackluster affair with a limited selection of uninspiring, seemingly stale offerings. The dining area itself lacked any semblance of atmosphere, making the entire meal feel like a chore rather than a pleasant start to the day.

In conclusion, I cannot emphasize enough how regrettable my stay at Hotel Rex Milano was. The combination of woeful service, dismal room quality, and lackluster dining options ensures that I will never consider staying at this establishment again. I strongly advise anyone contemplating a visit to Milan to steer clear of Hotel Rex Milano, as there are undoubtedly far superior options available in this beautiful city. Save yourself the disappointment and frustration by choosing a hotel that values its guests and upholds a basic standard of quality.
