Hostel Ostello Bello Milano Duomo in Milan

I wasn't the one to book this but my friend who did missed the flight, so it was only me there. The staff, upon hearing I ended up stranded alone did everything to make me feel comfortable, I got an earlier check in and was provided with anything I needed.
They were all so lovely and helpful and I felt so safe.
The drinks were good, the bedrooms were not only clean but beautiful and the hostel
had such cool hangout spaces.
I would definitely stay again if I come back to Milan.

I had an absolutely great experience at Ostello Bello, arrived late on my first night and received a free welcome drink! The atmosphere is nice and relaxed. And is great to meet other solo travellers. The staff were very kind and helpful as I cut myself on my second night and because I was feeling faint, they washed the cut and put on a bandage for me and made sure I was better before I went back to my room.

I also felt very safe as a young, female solo traveller and enjoyed my 2 nights spent at the hostel

This is a party hostel, you can as well sleep early considering the walls are really thick and you dont really hear people partying downstairs. Breakfast is above expectations especially when you consider other hostel breakfasts. I lost the count how many free drinks I got in this hostel, they are really generous and extremely friendly

When I arrived the staff were so welcoming they offered me a drink and helped me find all the facilities. The rooms are very clean and are a good option for all traveller. The hostel held events while I was there like a pub crawl, beer pong and empanadas one night, even if you don’t drink it’s a great way to meet people and the staff organise and join in with all the activities. The breakfast and drinks are were really nice option so would recommend that highly. Also it’s in a great location it’s close to loads of restaurants, shops and transport links everything in less than 10 minute walking distance. It was great 4 days and I would highly recommend anyone looking for a hostel to book here.

I had a great 3-night stay in Ostello Bello, about a 10 minute walk from the cathedral. This is more than just a hostel, they organize events almost every evening and it looks like many locals come there for drinks as well, which is a good thing on one hand but makes it less easy to meet the actual travelers (from other countries) on the other hand. But the hostel had everything I needed anyways: a great breakfast, flexible checkout times, good bed, a sunny terrace with tables and a hammock, great cocktails, very friendly staff, clean bathroom, luggage storage, a big personal locker in the room, etc... & They also organized a pub crawl which I attended to. I only have one comment about this pub crawl: You won't get drunk, the value for money is rather low (compared to other pub crawls I did in other countries). It's a great way to meet fellow travelers though. Just buy an extra bottle of vodka in a supermarket and bring it with you while you go on the pub crawl and you'll be fine :). I would stay again.

Fantastic Hostel! Would recommend to anyone staying in Milan. Ostello Bello's motto is this is a home not a hostel, and they live up to that motto. Elisa is an extremely inviting receptionist and hostess. Didn't want to leave, and could not recommend this hostel more!

Interesting place! Friendly atmosphere, beer quality, good aperitif and the possibility to spend the evening with friends playing foosball or ping pong. You can also have fun with games in the box provided by the local! In short, the ideal place to spend an evening with your friends!

Service is simple but effective, on the floor below there are also video games and board games for relaxing in the evening with friends, I highly recommend it

The best staff here! They created a lively atmosphere and they helped me out even after I had checked out. Free drink when you check in, free breakfast from 7:30 to 12, free food in the kitchen (mostly pasta), and free food during aperativo hours. Lounge with guitar, foosball table, ping pong table. They provide towel and small padlock to lock luggage under beds. They provide so many other things that you can ask for. Locals often hang out here. My mattress was very firm but I still slept good.
