Backpackers in Agrigento

One of the best hostels/B&Bs I've been to. Excellent location. Can see the Valley of the Temples and the sea from the window. Is in the center of things, close by Athena Street and not far from the Duomo, the Cathedral. The owner Sergio was very kind to drive me to see Scala dei Turchi since it was off season and the buses weren't running. He was also very accommodating and answered all questions as well as provided an extra blanket when I requested. Is walkable to the temples and museums and less than 10 minutes from the train station. Loved my room. Bed was comfy and it was nice and quiet. Had my own bathroom which had plenty of hot water. Kitchen was stocked for breakfast with eggs, yogurt, cereal, juices and pastries. Plenty of space to write or work, as well as relax. Wished I could have stayed longer and would gladly stay again. Highly recommend the Backpackers for your stay in Agrigento.

I loved the sea view from this place!! I stayed at a big room at a good price. The place is very clean and close to the train station. The place also served enough items such as little snacks, cakes, yorgrt, fruits and etc. for breakefast in the fridge. I recommend this place to stay when you are in Agrigent.

I had a comfortable stay at Backpackers in Agrigento. The B&B is close to the train station, bus station and old town. One can reach the Valley of the Temples by bus or by walking easily. The room was comfortable, warm (January) and clean. Sergio helped me plan my stay in Agrigento and the public transport to get to my next destination.

Fantastic! Very specious rooms and full kitchen!! The view is also great! Only a short distance from the Agrigento main station, also very close to the old town. Luggage storage after check out was a bonus! Loved every aspect of it.

Freshly renovated, beautiful, nice, cozy and clean guesthouse with stunning balcony view!
The guesthouse also had heating which was quite important since I was traveling in December and to my surprise it was colder than I anticipated, so having heating was super nice. The host was very helpful and friendly, he gave me useful tips on which bus to take to the Valley of the temples, and also how to reach my next destination city (which was Syracuse).
