Resort Santa Maria in Birgi Vecchi

It's a nice apartment and we spent a week there.

The staff is very friendly. However the bathrooms, especially flushed, could do with a makeover, same as the doors. Would also be great to have at least some basic cooking stuff like salt in the kitchen.

Also there were cleaning workers starting their day at 08:00 am on a Sunday and some other days which were making a lot of noise and sleeping longer impossible.

Anyways, we spend a great week and price value is good.

At the end of May, we had the absolute pleasure of staying at Resort Santa Maria as part of a kite surfing trip with a group of around 24 people. From start to finish, everything was simply wonderful. The organization, thanks to the amazing Cristina, was seamless and stress-free. The rooms were comfortable, spotless, and welcoming, and the hospitality we received throughout our stay was exceptional. The resort is perfectly located right by the water, making it an ideal spot for both relaxation and adventure. Just a short stroll away, you’ll find several charming bars and inviting restaurants, perfect for enjoying a drink or meal after a day on the water. The atmosphere at Resort Santa Maria is vibrant yet laid-back, the staff are warm and friendly, and everything about our stay made us feel truly at home. We had such an amazing time and can’t wait to return!

Great place to stay if you kiteboard. All good except weak WIFI in the room, not always hot water and it can be quite noisy because of neighbors and/ or party.

thank you for having us the 6 year in a row. There are many reasons that we are coming back every year. The apartments genuinely modern, well-maintained, and offer all the amenities we need for a comfortable stay. It's nice to have a clean, contemporary space to relax in after a day kiting.

The views from the resort are always a pleasure. Whether you're looking out at the lagoon or the surrounding landscape, it adds a calm and picturesque element to the stay.

The infrastructure here is solid and works well for us. The pool area is always clean and inviting, and the showers are well-kept. For us, the easy access to the kitespot is a major plus – it's incredibly convenient to just walk over and get on the water.

What really makes the difference, though, is the staff (thank you Christina, Georgia and Marie-Lou and all other team members). They're genuinely friendly and welcoming. Over the years, we've seen many of the same faces, and their consistent helpfulness makes our visits very smooth and enjoyable. They clearly work hard to keep everything running well.

In short, Resort Santa Maria offers a reliable and enjoyable experience. It's a comfortable place with good facilities, great views, and a friendly atmosphere. We appreciate its consistency, which is why we'll likely be back again Pentecost 2026.

Delicious food, wonderful location by the shore, at the kiteboarding spot. Professional, very friendly and helpful staff which is definately not so common in the area! Huge terrace and really fresh and tasty calmari and tasty tiramisu.

Perfect location right at the kite spot. Friendly staff and good restaurant. Would definitely stay here again.
