Basic Campground by the Sea.

Obviously you will have to pre-book first row pitches. That did work fine for me.

Campground is about a 30 min walk from the harbour where you will find really good seafood restaurants.

Staff is friendly and supportive.

Bathrooms are basic and clean. Toilet seats are missing - annoying.

Lovely camping to explore Catania and the region (Traomina, Etna etc). You can also take a swim between the rocks in the sea. Real friendly staff! Large supermarket is nearby and you can also dine and have breakfast at the campsite.
Tip: cycle from the campsite to Catania center along the (blue) bike lane along the coast of Catania city.

Stayed here as part of a GB motorhome tour. The vans were packed in to what can only be described as a disused industrial area car park that has become a shanty town.
The bus stop to the city centre is 12 mins walk away and a 20min bus ride to city centre
There is a castle area to walk to along the busy main road
There is not a beach , but swimming is possible from the rocks when the sea is calm enough
Overall this is a campsite for permanent residents

Nothing special, a bit expensive for Sicily (paid 19$ for 1 tent, 1 person, 1 night) and doesn't offer anything for the price. Early checkout (10AM). Fine for one night if you can't find anything else. The location is decent.

I’ve got mixed feelings about this place. Booked a week here in a bungalow. Had my daughter with me aged 11, my partner also for the first few days. The bungalow was quite grotty and dismal. They are joined into other bungalows in a row. The first night there was a lot of noise from people partying and then another neighbour was arguing with the loud people. They all left. The second night a group of 17 French teenagers turned up doing some sort of camp. They took many of the chalets around us and were running around screaming and shouting late at night. The adults accompanying them had separate chalets. We asked them to be quiet but they were not interested. We spoke to night security and they spoke to the group and this didn’t make any difference. The next day we woke late and were tired. This was my partners last day and we had to cancel our plans because of the issue with these noisy neighbours. We thought about leaving. We went to speak to reception. The manager came. We got moved to a chalet which was a lot more pleasant. Yes still a bit dated but much much better. Because it was detached the noise issue was better. The teens were still loud and annoying, took over the site really, but we could at least sleep. Thanks to the owner for this change. I recommend don’t book a bungalow!
Other things. There are cute cats who come and chill on your patio. The chalet has a nice outside area. The supermarket is nearby. Catania is not far by bus, but the buses are unreliable. The beach on site is really good. So you can go into the sea within a minute from your place.
The chalet isn’t super clean, and the site needs tlc. But we kind of liked it in the end.
A shop on site would be handy. We didn’t know we could order croissants at reception for the breakfast, until our last day. The reception staff are very nice. And the owner he really helped us out by moving us to the chalet. We appreciated that as it meant we had a much nicer holiday. Maybe it’s a bit expensive for what you get. But it’s great for access to the sea.

Nice camp. When we arrived, no one could speak english, but we managed to get what we wanted.

The rocky beach is fantastic. Several entrances into the sea. The camping is small and clean. Very Familie style. The restaurant was somehow closed. If they serve fresh pasta, this would be the ottimo!!!

Nice little campsite with a rocky entrance to the sea. While the shower were repaired we could use the ones in the bungalows which was pretty neat. There where toilet seats and even toilet paper which isn't that common for campsites in italy.

Nice and very friendly English speaking personnel, good restaurant with very tasty food. Toilet with toilet paper included and also hot water in the showers. Only disadvantage is the difficult way to get in the sea.

Pretty basic facilities, a bit noisy even during the night. However hot shower is included unlike in many other campings. The beach is easily accessible, very rocky, but there's a jumping board.

We stayed here for a couple of nights whilst visiting Catania. The campsite felt very safe and the facilities were basic and clean, although the toilet paper wasn’t kept topped up. The showers are outdated however.
We camped in the small area for tents, the ground was hard but that didn’t bother us.

On the last night we had dinner in the restaurant, there are lots of vegan and vegetarian options which is a massive plus in our books. Try the Bruschetta Pizza very very tasty and reasonably priced at €7!

Our main issue was that the restaurant played incredibly loud music on the Saturday between the hours of 9pm and 3am with no prior warning that this would be going on. Being in a tent you hear everything, unfortunately this kept us up at night so we had a dreadful nights sleep.

Good bus connections to the city centre, however the buses do not run on time so make sure you get to the bus stop at least ten minutes early!

Pleasant but I don’t think we will be returning.
