A magical place at the foot of Mount Etna. Comfortable, clean, and welcoming. Excellent breakfast. Our dog Penelope was welcomed by the entire staff. Everyone was very friendly. Rosario was a wonderful soul, attentive to our every need. Enjoy the sunset on the terrace, admiring the steaming Etna. I hope this is a goodbye...

The room was very large and beautiful. The staff were incredibly friendly, courteous, and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. The place is charmingly small, and I felt safe.

We were looking for a quiet place to spend two days on August 15th to fulfill a wish of my 89-year-old father. The choice was a good one from the moment we arrived: the hotel has a quiet, intimate atmosphere that invites you to slow down. There was a little initial friction between my father and the owner, but the calm and patient way in which the situation was handled made all the difference and set the tone for the rest of our stay. The staff was also always present without being intrusive: genuine attention, spontaneous courtesy, and well-timed. At the table, we found what we were hoping for: simple, tasty cuisine, with fresh, carefully prepared ingredients. The menu isn't extensive, and for this very reason, each dish is carefully prepared, with clean flavors and balanced portions. Every meal was a pleasant experience, without frills, but with substance. The cleanliness was also excellent: the rooms and common areas were always tidy and well-maintained, with that attention to detail that makes you feel welcome and at ease. It's one of those places where you truly unwind, because everything flows discreetly and orderly. In short, I would recommend it to anyone seeking serenity, authentic hospitality, and good food. The attentive service, the refined atmosphere, and, above all, the humanity of the staff make this hotel a place to cherish.

The owner is giving a personnalized service, he is there for the customer, we feel it is natural and not forced or overacted.

The hotel is really close from the volcano but unfortunately really far from the cities

The hotel is on a very rural area of Scicily, a short walk from a town called Milo. The hotel is nice and clean. It may look rustic on the outside, but inside it feels modern and maintained. The terrace both boasts a grand view over the valley and a direct view of the very active Volcano Etna. Raffaele the owner, chef and multitasker and his staff makes sure you have a pleasant stay. He makes a mean Espresso to wake you up in the morning.

I can highly recommend this place. Such a lovely place and the location is really good, close to Etna, where you can easily make day trips. The host, Raffaele, is very kind-hearted and always ready to help everyone. His kindness, helpfulness and positive attitude shines through. I wish him and his family all the best.

This property was a great find for exploring Mount Etna. The room was basic but clean and soon soon felt like home after emptying your suitcase! Travelling with two teenage boys, we had a quadruple room and a view of Mount Etna from our balcony. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We had dinner on the roof top terrace and the food was excellent! We stayed for three nights and also ate at another excellent pizzeria 5 minutes walk away. Parking is limited but we always found a space opposite the hotel. This hotel is a great base for exploring Mount Etna.

Lovely friendly staff and lovely hotel but away from everything except Etna very limited transport available. Etna is worth a visit best to take one of the organised tours for the best experience.

Best place to stay if you would like to go to Etna. Raffaele and his family were so friendly and good people. The most friendly that we have seen here in Sicily. Huge recommendation for this hotel.
