The bathroom, designated as private, is outside the room. It has old fixtures, a broken and glued seat, a shower in the tub without a curtain, and an electric heater on a stool. The room is decent, but we weren't able to open the windows, and even then, there was an electric heater on the bedside table.

Perfect location 30 mins drive from SouthEast side of mount Etna, perfect for relaxing evening after a day of hiking. Parking included. We were surprised to find multiple good local restaurants within 20 mins of walking even if this small town (Milo) for dinner. Staff exceptionally friendly. Rooms are renovated but the kitchen/living room is not; think old country house setting. We did not plan on hanging out in the common areas therefore did not affect us. Breakfast was decent (cappuccino, cake, bread and salami). Overall good value for price but would not stay more than 1 night.

Disappointment with the room.
The location is charming, and the welcome was pleasant.
However, our room (with a fireplace) had no outside opening (a small window overlooked an interior space housing the washing machines), opened directly into the common room (noisy early in the morning), and our shower was stuck on scalding hot water with no alternative. We therefore cancelled our second night's stay. The welcome we received was, as mentioned above, very cordial.

Very pleasant and relaxing stay in Milo! Lovely yard, close proximity to Milo! Affordable!

We booked a double room through *********** and were given a room that didn't even look like the one in the photos. It was small, had a strong musty smell, and the bathroom was tiny and dark. We asked to change rooms and were charged extra (it was 7 PM) for a room with a fireplace (which was obviously turned off). We had to call in the evening because there was no hot water, and the same thing happened in the morning. We were told the tank was empty and they replaced it. During the night, the water was cold, and we had trouble changing our 9-month-old baby. The double bed was uncomfortable, and the windows had a lot of drafts. Breakfast consisted of plum cake and tarts from the supermarket. Absolutely not worth the price we paid.

The property was beautiful and service was very good. Whilst accepting that it was unusually hot summer, the air conditioner was ineffective and did not provide any relief making it impossible to sleep in the night.

Stayed here with a friend, we had to shorten our stay to catch an earlier flight and the owner was very understanding.
The owner, Luca, was also very helpful with great recommendations for what to do and where to eat.
Villa Loriana is somewhat out of the way - which was excellent as we very much enjoyed the quietness when we were back at the property. We hiked parts of Etna and also drove to the costal cities.
