La Finestra Sul Porto in Palermo

A truly wonderful experience! The facility is very modern, spotlessly clean, and welcoming. I felt right at home. The two owners, Daniele and Loredana, are incredibly knowledgeable and gave us tons of tips for making the most of Palermo. Highly recommended!

Cleanliness, friendliness, and warmth—those were the three hallmarks of our stay. Arriving late at night, Daniele and his wife greeted us with warmth and professionalism, making us feel right at home. The child is cared for down to the last detail, the place is clean and airy, and the managers are always welcoming and ready to explain what to visit and eat in Palermo, making us feel the warmth of this city. The structure is located near the port, but the center is just a few minutes' walk away. In 10 minutes, you'll be at the Teatro Maxima, in 15 minutes you'll reach the cathedral, and on the city's electric scooters, you can reach any corner of the city in just a few minutes. A super-plentiful breakfast of fresh and typical city products helped us better endure long days in this wonderful city. Thank you, Francis and Geneva.

"Let all who enter as guests leave as friends." This is the philosophy of Finestra sul Porto, run by Loredana and Daniele. It's written on the wall at the entrance and truly reflects their hospitality. My boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights thanks to a "See Sicily" voucher from the Sicilian region, which gives a free night for every two nights paid. From the moment we arrived, we were spoiled by their kindness and availability. They gave us lots of honest and detailed advice on where to eat and what to see in Palermo, and also provided us with a map and showed us place after place. I think this is a truly wonderful gesture of attention to their guests! Our room was beautiful: overlooking the harbor, spacious, very well-maintained and clean, with all the amenities. The bathroom even had chromotherapy lights, fabulous! The breakfast was excellent and always varied. I loved the special touch of fresh local produce, which always made us want to try something typical. I really enjoyed staying here, I'm sure that when we return to Palermo, we will definitely return to Window on the Port! 🤩

It's located opposite the port, just steps from the historic center. Breakfast with typical local products is served daily by the owners, Loredana and Daniele. They're two people you'll instantly become friends with from the first meeting, and they're always available to offer advice and tips to help you fully enjoy the place. It’s a great accommodation and clean, in the heart of the city of Palermo with view in port. Daniel’s and Lory’s hospitality was exceptional. They made us feel comfortable and helped us to find the best spots in town. We highly recommend it! Thanks for everything Nikos and Sofia.

A great place to stay for a few nice days in Palermo.

The bed & breakfast is run by a warm and very friendly couple. We were greeted warmly on arrival, given some refreshments and a briefing on the highlights of the city. Really great!

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The apartment is centrally located so that everything is easily accessible.

The breakfast was great, there were bread rolls, cheese, sausage, eggs, fruit, yoghurt etc. But also great high quality pastries from the bakery.

We recommend it without reservation!

Property is located within walking distance of Teatro Politeama, the old port, old city and, I would say, everything it counts as a tourist. Great breakfast, clean and well maintained. What distinguishes this of similar properties is the hosts’ friendliness and preparedness to help with all important information to make your stay in Palermo great. They know and love their city and could diligently address all your questions - tourist objectives, restaurants, markets and local food, transportation - everything you need to know. First impression is strange. The B&B is on the 3rd floor of a block of apartments close to the harbour of Palermo. But what lies behind the lift and front door is a little oasis of calm and perfect welcome from the hosts Daniele and Lory. They welcomed us with a soft drink and pastry while they explained the sights we should see and recommended restaurants. The rooms are very modern and clean with everything you could need including air conditioning, a comfortable bed and good shower. The area is a little noisy so you may need ear plus but I kept the window shut and the double glazing works well. The gentle hum of the air conditioning lulled me to sleep. The area felt very safe and it was easy to walk to the pedestrian old town. There are many good restaurants closeby. The breakfast consists of cold boiled eggs, ham, cheese, bread, cakes, juice, tea and coffee. We felt as if we were staying with friends and would love to return some day. And will recommend to friends. Thank you Daniele and Lory. You are doing a great job welcoming tourists to your home town.

Fantastic base for exploring Palermo. The owners Daniel and Lory went out of their way to make us welcome providing us with a map and talking us through all the places to visit. Accommodation was immaculately clean and air conditioning was great and very much needed as was very hot outside. About 10 minutes walk to the old part of the city so great location. Great selection of fresh pastries, fruit yogurt, toast, tea coffee and juice for breakfast. Even helped us with trains and restaurant recommendations for our onward travel. Highly recommend
