Easy parking with payable. Big market near the hotel every morning. Rooms are enough and higher landscape.
The room was tidy and clean but the shower pressure was too low and the Wifi kept coming and going so I had to give up and use my own. I signaled it to the receptionist but nothing happened. Other than that, the staff were professional.
The hotel was neat and clean that staffs helped clean the bathroom and bed every day, we had an incredible stay in 4 nights. However, they didn’t offer kettle for boiling hot water, and their reason was that we had booked a standard room and hence no kettles were provided. If we needed hot water, we could only get it from the bar which closed at 22:30, meaning that if we got back to the hotel later...
Having read all those negative reviews about the hotel I was pleasantly surprised to have such a lovely stay for 3 nights here. We had a room with a view, spacious and clean. Unfortunately, there was no kettle nor iron in the room that is definitely not up to 4 stars standard. The bathroom looked a bit tired that required upgrading or at least better maintenance. However, everything was in good working...
Nice hotel in Palmero, close to the 107 bus stop that takes you into the center (trip takes about 30 minutes) The hotel was big and the room was clean with fresh bedding and towels. I arrived with a broken lock on my bag and the hotel staff helped me fix it! They were really helpful and friendly . 2 min walk to the beach. But besides that, 35 mins walk to station. Attractions are all near the station. The counter lady service quality need to improve. The room is spacious, clean. Some cheap one bed room does also has the view of the ocean. It is considered quiet. The breakfast is really good compared to the same price in rome. If u hire a car to visit this place, it is highly recommended...
Quality-price ratio is quite good on this hotel. However, if you are walking there it is a bit far from the main attractions and you have to walk through a very shady area during the night time. Rooms are spacious but old, would need some renovation, for example most power plugs did not work on our room. The breakfast was quite good for the price.
Rooms are big and clean. Pool is not great but nicly located at top floor. What I really fid nit like is how they handle luggage storage. It’s kept in open room close to reception theoretically reception watches over it but when i came to pick up my luggage stuff at front desk was overwhelmed with guests and just walked in took my stuff no questions asked (and people in reception weee different shift...
An old hotel on the outskirts of the city that offers good value for money, especially for those travelling by car. Palermo is a large and bustling city, but the hotel's free parking is easily accessible before the city centre gets busy. The hotel's breakfast is served on the 14th floor, which is a bit difficult to reach by lift at breakfast time, but the breakfast itself is tasty and extensive, including...
After reading some of the reviews of the hotel, I was dreading checking in. Yes, the hotel is a bit out of the way, in quite a run down area but Ubers and taxis were reasonably cheap. Our room was lovely, clean, massive bed and had everything that we needed. The public spaces were clean and comfortable, the pool area was clean but there was a definite lack of sunbeds and we didn't swim because of the...

Great location a 15 min walk from central train station and on the waterfront. You do have to walk 10+ minutes to get to restaurants and 15+ min to the historic city center. Staff were great, taxi stand at the hotel was super convenient as was the hop on hop off and other bus stops right there. Great views of the mountains and seaside. Pool opens May 1 but you can sit poolside and enjoy the fresh air...
The hotel was amazing only thing that always loud because of road in front. And also 2 minuses one is that when I was opening the window it was entering the smell of ****. The second is that it’s far from sea. It was prohibited to swim in swimming pool. But my room was wide with cycle in my room.
The room faces the sea directly... it's very beautiful, just a bit low on the floor. There's a famous Chinese restaurant and a noodle shop about a 15-20 minute walk away, which is pretty good. Breakfast was decent.
Our first time in Palermo. Very comfortable hotel, cheerful and helpful staff especially Martina and Leo in the restaurant. Great pool spoiled by very loud pop music in the poolside seating area. Overall a very good stay, thank you.
Wonderful hotel. Clean friendly. Martina in the dining room and the gentleman behind the bar ( whose name I did not get) were both terrific in assisting us. Thank you Geerd Mattheus
Paolo, a bartender at the NH Hotel is amazing. He was attentive to our needs from the moment we arrived and until we left. The hotel has beautiful views of the sea and the breakfast is a large variety of fruit, pastries, eggs, and breakfast meats.

Had a great time... Extremely nice staff wonderful breakfast.. If you can drive in Palermo you can drive anywhere CRAZIE DRIVERS get all the rental insurance you can thank me later.
This hotel is astonishingly beautiful. The bedrooms & bathrooms are very comfortable and luxuriously appointed. The gym is the biggest & classiest I’ve ever seen at a hotel. The breakfast spread is also the biggest & most beautiful I’ve seen in at least a decade. The staff are so hospitable and very handsome. 😂 I *must* give it 5 stars because that’s what it is. I stayed at Hotel Des Palmes in Palermo from December 10th to 15th, 2025, and it was a truly wonderful experience. I booked larger room, deluxe room, so room is not small, has space for luggage. The room has two chairs, a window face to the street. The property is not too far from the Old town and other restaurants and luxury stores, about 5-7 minutes walk to the opera house, 25 minutes to thanks cathedral. The Grand Hotel et des Palmes is one of those places where time seems to bend out of sheer courtesy. A friend recommended this hotel, and it gave us some wonderful memories in Baringo. The hotel's location is also quite easy to find. We arrived early and were even allowed to check in early, which was great overall. The only downside was the paint smell in the second-floor hallway, but not inside the room.
The room was spacious, the location was great, it was quiet, and the breakfast was delicious!
The hotel building is beautiful, a very old historical building. It's in a great location, within walking distance of all the attractions. The front desk staff are very helpful and can answer many questions. Overall, it offers good value for money.
Great location. Wonderful breakfast. Great staff.

Hotel location is very good. Near to bus stop for the airport, railway station, 1km to the city center Room size wide. Cleanest very good. Breakfast excellent! Definitely I will book again!
the room was small. Breakfast was average. no fresh juices or omelet. good for one night stay. tour busses stop here. receptionists were polite.
The location was ideal for a tourist. Close to all the attractions.  The staff were welcoming and good at their jobs.  Rooms were very good size and quite comfortable  I would stay again or highly recommend.

The location is superb! It's a 15-minute walk from the central train station, and the hotel is right next to the Four Corners Square. It's only 500-600 meters to the main cathedral and the opera house, meaning all attractions within the old city are within walking distance.
Great location- good service. The room was clean, and comfortable. I only stood one night, as this was a transit day for me in Palermo. The staff were helpful and able to accommodate me arriving slightly earlier than expected. The location is great for a first time visit in Palermo- just outside the Quattro Canti.

The hotel is magnificent, truly palace-like. However, the facilities are a bit dated, and the bathroom was quite cramped, with a broken sliding door.
Excellent! Fantastic location! The staff were always on hand to assist with anything we needed.
The location is fantastic, within a 10-minute walk of the Teatro Massimo and Palermo Cathedral, and a 5-minute walk to the seaside. The hotel rooms are relatively basic, but the breakfast is absolutely amazing, with a wide variety of fruits, including incredibly sweet black plums. Everything was perfect. Location, parking, staff, room, breakfast. Everything was truly perfect. Congratulations to all the staff!
We had a short stay at this hotel. Its main advantage is its location, a 10-minute walk from the city center. However, it's not a true 4-star hotel. The room was small and, above all, outdated. The hotel is clearly not up to the standard of other 4-star hotels in the Accor chain. It's in dire need of renovation. The shower is tiny, and the bathroom paint was peeling in places. Overall, it lacked charm...
The room itself was clean and comfortable for what we paid. This was let down by very average customer service at the front desk. Despite some negative comments, perhaps from people who stayed on the first floor, we were very happy with our stay at this hotel.
