The room was tidy and clean but the shower pressure was too low and the Wifi kept coming and going so I had to give up and use my own. I signaled it to the receptionist but nothing happened. Other than that, the staff were professional.
The hotel was neat and clean that staffs helped clean the bathroom and bed every day, we had an incredible stay in 4 nights.
However, they didn’t offer kettle for boiling hot water, and their reason was that we had booked a standard room and hence no kettles were provided. If we needed hot water, we could only get it from the bar which closed at 22:30, meaning that if we got back to the hotel later...
Nice hotel in Palmero, close to the 107 bus stop that takes you into the center (trip takes about 30 minutes)
The hotel was big and the room was clean with fresh bedding and towels.
I arrived with a broken lock on my bag and the hotel staff helped me fix it! They were really helpful and friendly .
WiFi was good and it was quiet at night,
Nice rooftop terrace with bar

Great view. Spacious room. Friendly reception. Fridge in the room.
Upon arrival, they initially wanted to give us a room facing the corridor, after a complaint we were given another. The room is minimally equipped, two people get one chair and one glass. A kettle was not provided upon request.
At breakfast, the cakes are fresh and delicious. Italian coffee and cappuccino are also available upon request. The restaurant and bar staff are friendly and helpful.
Good experience overall. Fine breakfast, ok location, parking options are there, staff is nice and communicative, can't complain about anything really. We had a nice experience.

Our first time in Palermo. Very comfortable hotel, cheerful and helpful staff especially Martina and Leo in the restaurant. Great pool spoiled by very loud pop music in the poolside seating area. Overall a very good stay, thank you.
Wonderful hotel. Clean friendly. Martina in the dining room and the gentleman behind the bar ( whose name I did not get) were both terrific in assisting us. Thank you

Paolo, a bartender at the NH Hotel is amazing. He was attentive to our needs from the moment we arrived and until we left.
The hotel has beautiful views of the sea and the breakfast is a large variety of fruit, pastries, eggs, and breakfast meats.
Paolo was fantastic - he helped us while sitting by the pool and also in the evening with cocktails. The hotel is a perfect location, clean and safe. Their food is also fresh and delicious. Constantino makes an amazing espresso martini as well, one of the best we have ever had!
Overall, the hotel is a nice environment, but there are definite drawbacks which would prevent us from staying here again (we’re actually leaving earlier than planned).
The biggest issue is the in room climate controls. While there is a thermostat in each room, allowing you to change the temperature, no matter how low you set it, the coldest the room will ever get is 23°C (~74°F). And, as many are...
Our room was small but perfectly formed with everything we needed. What let's this place down is the service. The breakfast was average. The coffee machines were not working either day we stayed.
The produce itself was poor with very little choice.
The pool area is beautiful. Plenty of towels and beds.
However the service around the Poole is extremely poor and expensive. Two soft drinks (that took...

An old hotel on the outskirts of the city that offers good value for money, especially for those travelling by car. Palermo is a large and bustling city, but the hotel's free parking is easily accessible before the city centre gets busy. The hotel's breakfast is served on the 14th floor, which is a bit difficult to reach by lift at breakfast time, but the breakfast itself is tasty and extensive, including...
After reading some of the reviews of the hotel, I was dreading checking in. Yes, the hotel is a bit out of the way, in quite a run down area but Ubers and taxis were reasonably cheap.
Our room was lovely, clean, massive bed and had everything that we needed.
The public spaces were clean and comfortable, the pool area was clean but there was a definite lack of sunbeds and we didn't swim because of the...
I stayed here with my boyfriend for a holiday – overall, a good stay!
The view from the window was absolutely stunning – one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen!
The rooms definitely need renovation.
The air conditioning worked great and kept the room nice and cool.
Breakfast was quite boring with limited options, but the food was tasty. The biggest downside – no real glasses, only plastic cups.

A good place to eat and to sleep.
The design is absolutely 20th century, as is much of the room aesthetic, which ends up feeling quaintly nostalgic. Waking up with a view of the sea at sunrise is a definite perk.
As for the stay, everything went relatively well, except that those who wanted to enjoy the pool in this heat would have to deal with a lifeguard who was perhaps a horrible, pretentious lifeguard with no respect for the tourists who were staying at the hotel, so for anyone who wanted to swim, choose another hotel.
He forced us to get out of the water, claiming that the buoy wasn't for tourists but...

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Igea. The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was equally impressive. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our visit.
One small detail I noticed, however, was that for a hotel in this price range, you expect everything to be perfect. The garden could have been better maintained some of the palm trees...
A Truly Five-Star Experience at Villa Igiea
From the moment we arrived at Villa Igiea, the experience was next-level. We were kindly offered a room upgrade at check-in, and that small gesture made a huge difference. The extra space gave our kids room to play and relax, and it gave my wife and me the rare chance to enjoy a peaceful moment together on the terrace—just the two of us. It completely elevated...
Excellent property! We had an amazing time staying in the beautiful villa. We will stay there again next time
We had a wonderful experience at Villa Igiea! Everything was exceptional - the room, the stunning views, the food, the staff and overall service, etc. One particular experience that was above and beyond was when Phillip, a member of the front desk staff, brought his personal backgammon set for us to play after my husband had expressed interest in finding a board in town and playing. Would definitely...
I recently had the pleasure of working with Villa Igiea in Palermo, Italy, for a set of very special clients—and I couldn’t be more impressed. From start to finish, the service was truly exceptional. The entire team exceeded expectations, delivering an experience that was both luxurious and personalized.

Villa Igiea is honestly incredible. The place is even more beautiful in person—everything from the views to the decor is just next level. It has this amazing old-world charm but still feels super luxe and comfortable.
Our room had the dreamiest view, and the whole vibe of the hotel is so peaceful and elegant. Perfect spot to unwind. The pool area and gardens are stunning too—we spent hours just relaxing...

This hotel was even better than I expected. The location is perfect if you want to be in the center of everything. My room was beautiful, amenities plentiful and breakfast in the morning had everything you could ever want. The staff was exceptional and helped me with anything I needed, especially Claudio and Maria! Will definitely be back!
My stay was amazing right when I walked into the door. Amazing atmosphere amazing room with a balcony. Breakfast was something Ive never seen before. Top notch.claudio’s service is the best. The front desk is extremely helpful especially Augosto. He helped out so much.
Wonderful room, super clean, comfortable bed, perfect pillows. Reception staff super friendly and very helpful they answer the reception phone 1 seconds. Big variety for breakfast, coffee fantastic as always. Cannot wait to return!
Great hotel & friendly staff! Stayed here with my husband & 2 kids (10 & 8) and we loved it. Rooms were clean and the hotel was very nice. Such a beautiful hotel with all the luxury you would need to enjoy a wonderful Anniversary celebration trip. The bed and pillows are so comfortable. The cleanliness of this hotel superb and most importantly the service is impeccable! We’ve especially have enjoyed the breakfast staff who had served our needs during our stay here at this hotel.
All the staff at the hotel are so amazing, attentive and helpful. Agostino is absolutely great and helped us with everything we asked. Claudio at the bar is so fantastic. Elegantly styled classy hotel. Built in the past maybe by 50 years but very clean and well maintained. Good breakfast was part of my package. Location is on Via Liberta which is chic section of the urban metropolis that is Palermo. No regrets.
This is a really nice hotel with lots of style. the rooms a nicely furnished clean and comfortable. The staff are helpful and friendly. We particularly liked the restaurant, we arrived at 9.30pm but this had no effect on the excellent service and very good food and wine. the head waiter was fantastic.
This is a good place to stay.
Excellent location overlooking gardens. Very friendly staff relaxing.
Very good and user friendly hotel although certain faucets in the BR need looking to. However enjoyed the stay. Thank you.
Recently, I have been invited to meet the management of this hotel after a severe critic published on Google. This has been an appreciated feedback and I have decided to share with you some reflection:
1. My method seems to me correct. Me and my wife experience personally the 90% of every location or service we later value on Google. As tourism operators, we move a large amount of travelers in Switzerland...
Good receptionist. Very impressive hotel, clean and relaxing. Room are big and clean. Restaurant and breakfast are perfect. Gym is small but with important things inside. Parking are not inside the hotel and need it because outside is quite difficult to find parking

Great location and amazing service. Room is very spacious as well. Well equipped and clean. They helped us call a taxi, store luggages and answer some basic questions very kindly. Highly recommend!
Decent hotel but toiletries like toothbrush isn’t provided and they provide only 2-in-1 shampoo which isn’t good for your hair
The breakfast items were poor as well, especially the scrambled eggs (simple dish that’s difficult to mess up)
Room tidy and clean .Breakfast was excellent !
Fabulous location and rooftop dining area is great, especially for breakfast. Very helpful staff
Used the hotel for a short stop before heading back to the airport. Excellent location but pictures make it look a lot better than it is. It was clean and functional but no warmth. Breakfast was good. Only scrambled eggs for hot option, but lots of croissants, muffins, cereal etc.
if you just want somewhere to get your head down for a couple of nights it’s great. Wouldn’t stay longer than that.
Good location, easy to walk everywhere. Room is big but bed is not hard enough.

Frindly staff but to be honest, I have no idea why this hotel has four Stars. The interiour is old, not very clean and sometimes broken. The hotel is directly located to a main road (loud), the surrunding is not beautfuly and it takes more than a 30 minutes walk to the old town/city Center.
Helpful friendly staff and clean if basic rooms. Reasonably priced but it is next to a very busy motorway. That said it is still pretty close to the centre of town and only a €40 taxi to the airport.
Room are clean and very comfortable, service is good and also breakfast with lots of choice. The position is good to reach the center and is well connected with bus.

I really like the 24-hour front desk here. They are very welcoming and helpful. The room is the best room in this price range. The picture shows the food court which is a 1-minute walk away.
I went a few months ago and my experience was great. The staff was super friendly and the hotel very cozy. The location was perfect, I could walk everywhere.
The room is clean, there is a good air conditioner, the Wi-Fi works. There is a gas water heater in the bathroom, so you won't be able to wash for a long time under a hot shower
This hotel is located in the center of Palermo. The elevator is also old-fashioned and there is no parking. The waiter recommended outdoor parking, which costs a higher fee of 20 euros a night. Breakfast was average.
Basique hôtel room, quite big but noisy (mostly coming from the corridors). Stayed there for a night so it was good and conveniently located
The moment I entered the room I could smell a little bit of cigarette, but when I switch on the aircon, the smell disappeared. The room, the bedsheets and the towels were really clean. The only problem was that I could hear people going in and out the room and it’s super loud.

It was about a 5-minute walk from the nearest bus stop. It took a while to get to the airport by bus. I was surprised that the building where I checked in was different from the building where I was staying.
Nice place. Luca and Luciano /the guys from the hotel were very kind. Parking in blue zone costs 1 euro per hour from 8 am to 2 pm and from 4 pm to 8 pm. From 2 pm to 4 pm there is no charge.
Spent 4 nights here in March, 2025. We cannot praise the staff enough - they were all excellent. The reception staff on arrival, and throughout were extremely helpful. Whether it was prepping our arrival or helping with onward travel arrangements, nothing was a problem or a chore to them. Another big thank you to the domestic staff - the initial pillows were a little wooly; however, this was soon sorted...

Good hotel. Big rooms. Central. Helpful staff
We enjoyed our two nights. The room was very spacious. David at the front desk was so friendly and very helpful along with all the staff. Breakfast was letdown though. With a small selection.
Decent rooms, awesome location! I slept on a third extra bed, which was way too short for me, but it was decently comfy. The room itself was big and clean. Breakfast could use a bit more variety, but altogether it was good.

Very good location.

Good location, other things are just so-so.
Excellent hotel in a central location. Quite large superior room and excellent breakfast
Great location and affordable price. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast with cannoli and brioche. Some light bulbs in my room were not working and the bed mattress with springs was not the best. Can’t believe how comfortable we felt at this hotel. We actually felt like family. They were so helpful and accommodating. The included breakfast was very yummy and included a cappuccino. Location was also good, about a 5 minute walk to the main shopping street where Gucci and Prada are found.

All in all nice hotel, with very friendly staff. Wifi was bad, and cell phone reception for me was bad inside the building.
I stayed in this hotel for one night with breakfast. Excellent proximity to the port and therefore excellent for those like me who arrived by ship. An important element that is not common is the built internal parking. Clean and spacious room. Good quality breakfast
This is an excellent hotel with an extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. Any request or problem Ignazio, the Direttore, took care of it immediately. A very clean, cosy and simple hotel right in the old town of Palermo - friendly personnel, basic breakfast. I enjoyed my stay in May 2019 and recommend the hotel to everyone who does not need a sophisticated standard.
Friendly staff, great breakfast, very clean, the bed could be more comfortable, the pillows too. But it still is a good place to stay at in a very central part of Palermo
I stayed here for almost one month in July 2017. The family that owns this Hotel made it feel like home to me.

The room/bed/elevator/parking was comfortable. The staff was nice and friendly.
At the set dinner, it would have been better to have 3 dishes to choose from per category. If there had always been three types (pork/beef, chicken, fish).
The breakfast was lacking in vegetables (tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers), and it would have been better to have a larger selection of savory foods (meat, cheese).
