Apparently, the hotel was completely renovated in 2009, but it seems they missed some rooms. Anyway, the price per night compensates for all deficiencies
Easy parking with payable. Big market near the hotel every morning. Rooms are enough and higher landscape.
For those who might want cup noodles for supper, you better do it before 22:30 :) For the location, it was quite far away from the city centre, there was bus stop right next to hotel, but the bus never came… we had waited for at least 30 minutes but still couldn’t see our bus coming
The faster way is to ride scooters. If you’re heading to pier / airport / train station carrying large luggage, you better ask the staffs to call taxi for you, which cost about €15 from hotel to Palermo Centrale station
If we needed hot water, we could only get it from the bar which closed at 22:30, meaning that if we got back to the hotel later than 22:30, there’d be no hot water for the whole night
However, they didn’t offer kettle for boiling hot water, and their reason was that we had booked a standard room and hence no kettles were provided

Pool is not great but nicly located at top floor. What I really fid nit like is how they handle luggage storage
It’s kept in open room close to reception theoretically reception watches over it but when i came to pick up my luggage stuff at front desk was overwhelmed with guests and just walked in took my stuff no questions asked (and people in reception weee different shift that did not know me, so ai would not be v supportive if anyone could walk in and take your luggage)
Palermo is a large and bustling city, but the hotel's free parking is easily accessible before the city centre gets busy
An old hotel on the outskirts of the city that offers good value for money, especially for those travelling by car
Quality-price ratio is quite good on this hotel. However, if you are walking there it is a bit far from the main attractions and you have to walk through a very shady area during the night time
Rooms are spacious but old, would need some renovation, for example most power plugs did not work on our room. The breakfast was quite good for the price

It was prohibited to swim in swimming pool. But my room was wide with cycle in my room
Very comfortable hotel, cheerful and helpful staff especially Martina and Leo in the restaurant. Great pool spoiled by very loud pop music in the poolside seating area. Overall a very good stay, thank you
With a heatwave hitting throughout my 3-day stay, the best decision I could have made was to choose this hotel specifically for its pool – and boy, did we enjoy it! The atmosphere was super chill, complete with a DJ, the lush surrounding garden, and the perfectly tempered water
The room faces the sea directly... it's very beautiful, just a bit low on the floor. There's a famous Chinese restaurant and a noodle shop about a 15-20 minute walk away, which is pretty good. Breakfast was decent.
The hotel was amazing only thing that always loud because of road in front. And also 2 minuses one is that when I was opening the window it was entering the smell of ****. The second is that it’s far from sea
Paolo was fantastic - he helped us while sitting by the pool and also in the evening with cocktails. The hotel is a perfect location, clean and safe. Their food is also fresh and delicious

A friend recommended this hotel, and it gave us some wonderful memories in Baringo. The hotel's location is also quite easy to find. We arrived early and were even allowed to check in early, which was great overall
Located near the Bank of Sicily, when I was there there were army men because a member of Parliament lives in that road. Very nice luxury hotel adapted to the building that was before: a former Chiostro (Monk's convent)
The hotel building is beautiful, a very old historical building. It's in a great location, within walking distance of all the attractions. The front desk staff are very helpful and can answer many questions
My husband booked this hotel for me on Trip. This hotel is perfect for solo travel - very convenient, and very clean. I will definitely use this hotel again when I come.
This grand hotel consists of 3 former palaces. And there are many marvellous dreams to discover inside. The cool inner courtyard is wonderful on hot summer days
In the evening there is a pianist and very pleasant piano music for the aperitivo, live bar music. Very fair prices for wines and drinks

The location is fantastic, within a 10-minute walk of the Teatro Massimo and Palermo Cathedral, and a 5-minute walk to the seaside
Excellent location: Famous attractions like the Quadrilateral Square (crossroads), the Pretoria Fountain, and the Admiral's Abbey are right outside the door. The theater, palace, and cathedral are a 6-7 minute walk away
The rooms are fully equipped, and there's a private balcony for relaxation. Cons: The air conditioning is a bit noisy (but can be turned off), and there are staircases connecting different floors within the building
Exquisite décor: Full of European luxury, the separate lobby is elegant and classic, and a tea break area is provided. Multiple elevators are available for easy access, and there is a wheelchair accessible
Everyone must know that we stayed at this hotel the last night of our 10-day honeymoon, and we can definitively say it is by far the best (most superb) stay out of every other hotel we experienced in all of Sicily
The room was clean, and comfortable. I only stood one night, as this was a transit day for me in Palermo. The staff were helpful and able to accommodate me arriving slightly earlier than expected

A very good hotel with a very good location and environment. It is also very convenient to go to and from the airport. The price is reasonable! Perfect for living while traveling! Worth recommending!
Really loved our stay. Spacious room, lovely balcony over looking the square and air con was super efficient. Could do with more wardrobe/ cupboard space but we just loved the room. It was ideal.
We walked to and from the Opera house area with no problems. There is a gelato shop just on the corner from the hotel that has the best gelato. The hotel is situated across from the square, Teatro Politeama Garribaldi
Very good location, very close to the square and the Grand Theatre. The nearby Trattoria Carpaccio restaurant is particularly delicious. The overall impression is good
A top-quality full breakfast is offered, with many options including pastries, hot breakfast items, and fresh fruit. The staff is attentive and helpful
In an excellent location and very friendly service! We were extremely satisfied with our stay here - the balcony was nice and spacious and we had a gorgeous view of the piazza outside the hotel

I am very glad I stayed at this hotel. It is centrally located and a short walk to the major tourist sites. The hotel also has a lot of character, with charming decor in rooms that are clean and comfortable
Beautiful hotel within a short walk to all the sites you might want to see on a trip to Palermo. The hotel was lovely, and all of the staff were helpful. It is a beautiful as it looks in the pictures.
My boyfriend even said “I don’t think even the Ritz would do that!” 😆 I am very grateful and I will NEVER EVER doubt Sicilians again!!! 🥹 Before I left, I even met the hotel manager who knew about the situation and checked on me
There's a wide selection of sweet breads and desserts (mini panna cotta, cassata, cannoli, etc. The staff will also bring you your favorite coffee drink, and I followed the Italian custom of choosing a cappuccino
We have just spent three nights at Grand Hotel Wagner and it was outstanding in every way!! Our family stayed in three rooms and each one was beautifully appointed with fabulous toiletries, nice towels, nespeesso machines, and tea pots
You'll also be escorted to your room by a front desk staff member and porter. The room's interior and furnishings are in a traditional style, revealing the hotel's long history of careful use

Ideally located in the centre of Palermo, the hotel is very nice: good breakfast buffet, nice room size with good toiletries, mattress and coffee/tea provided. Staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend
beautiful and spacious room, excellently equipped. breakfast food of good quality and varied, with lots of savory and sweet options. hotel location perfect, with numerous sights within a 20 minute walk
Very elegant hotel. I've been to other NH hotels before, but this is the nicest. The staff is friendly, and the best breakfast was Claudio, always ready and kind to serve me.
What a warm welcome sitting at the bar, enjoying an aperol-spritz, made by Claudio - He surely is a win for all guests! Rooms where okay - the view could be better tho.
After two days he knew our preferences for coffee and eggs and treated us as if we had come there to stay for years. We loved the hotel and can only recommend it
A great hotel with super friendly staff. Great location, really nice and friendly service. In particular Claudio, who served us at the breakfast buffet

We had a short stay at this hotel. Its main advantage is its location, a 10-minute walk from the city center. However, it's not a true 4-star hotel. The room was small and, above all, outdated
The buffet was limited, there was an automatic coffee machine, no proper toaster, and the pastries were out of stock every day (breakfast closes at 10:00 AM, so forget about sleeping in
The hotel is clearly not up to the standard of other 4-star hotels in the Accor chain. It's in dire need of renovation. The shower is tiny, and the bathroom paint was peeling in places
We didn't have a bad stay, but we were disappointed by the quality, which was far below what one would expect from a 4-star Accor hotel
As for breakfast, it also fell short of 4-star standards
Costs so little to have a few umbrellas on hand or can I suggest, remove this service from the Accor website. Breakfast was disappointing to say the least and I imagine only supplied beacuse this is an Ibis Styles thing

The service staff is enthusiastic and has a good attitude. There is a parking service for 50 euros a day. The price/performance ratio is good. The hotel restaurant is very beautiful. The service is top-notch in Europe
Great, historical hotel in a nice location. Hotel clearly needs maintenance. The door of our restaurant couldn’t be closed so very unpleasant. Breakfast was good, although preferred to have more savory options
We requested a room on the higher floors but got one which was on the first floor and quite noisy. Still, probably this is the best hotel in Palermo, but there’s room to really improve things for the guests
Palermo is the last stop of our entire trip to Sicily. Palermo is particularly suitable as a transit point to other attractions on the island
The Hotel location, the service and breakfast was excellent, if I go back to Palermo I would stay here again.
This hotel has a good location, it is convenient to get around, and the breakfast is also quite rich

They turn it off in the cooler months for the whole building! Was not informed of this on check in and after waking in a seat at 1am went to the desk and they told me to open the window
Amazing experience at Albergo Mediterraneo. Right in the heart of Palermo, everything is close by. Big room and great breakfast. I recommend this place and I will come back next time I'll be visiting Palermo.
Great experience, the staff was kind, breakfast quite rich, only flaw there is not much choice for lactose intolerance, only some biscuits and jams! The rooms are quite clean, the towels are changed every day!
One night we did not have hot water, but it was quickly resolved once reported to the Front Desk. Overall the room suited our needs well. We did not have breakfast at the hotel as there are many cafes nearby
. Price is good and you get what you pay for Decoration plain, breakfast room reminded me of a school refrectory! Breakast basic but adequate. Good position No complaints regading staff.
Very good location. However, the hairdryer is really bad and the fridge is not cold.

Location is good- I’m walking distance from the main sightseeings. 10 minutes to the bus stop to Mondello beach. Bed is comfortable. It would be nice to have some vegetables for breakfast.
The location of the hotel is very good, you can walk to many attractions, very close to the street of the Grand Theater, the facilities are relatively new, and the experience of staying is good
There is only one option when booking, which is a single room for one person. After arriving at the hotel, you have to pay an additional 40 euros per night for the second person staying
Excellent location. Got a big and comfortable angle room. Breakfast was good (the bread quality was above the usually disappointing Italian bread quality). The staff was very nice.
The hotel's location wasn't as good as I expected. Overall, it was alright.
Excellent location by the Theatro Massimo. 15 ins walks to the main thoroughfare in the Old town. Great service, clean and beaitiful hotel with a great roof-top bar/restaurant and well equipped gym.

It is a very old property like Italy. I enjoyed the breakfast and the staff was friendly. They can do a better job updating their linens. The bedding and pillows were needing replacement
The hotel is nice, in a classic style, it could stand a bit of modernizing, and it is not as noisy as some report, even when this is variable depending on the day and season
For those who have rented a car, the hotel offers a parking service at attractive rates, and they are in charge of the park and you there back to the requested time
Very welcoming, speak ENG, breakfast varied, room small but clean and pleasant. Ideally located at the feet of the sites of tourist interest

Reception staff very helpful and friendly Overall very good nothing to complain about Situated in quiet area overlooking the park and easy walking access to see all the sights
This boutique hotel combines charm, comfort, and convenience in a way that makes it a standout choice for anyone visiting Palermo. First and foremost, the cleanliness of the hotel deserves special mention
The staff was lovely and it was in a very nice area of Palermo. The room was a little warm at night but the hotel had a lot of great features.

I like this place, Ciccio the chef make excellent dishes. I love the chips ? with lime mayonnaise handmade and different selection of wines, sparkling wines and champagne (also spirits and beers)
The front desk was excellent. We arrived early and they allowed us check in. The front desk booked restaurants for us in advance and were always cheery! Fantastic stay!

The location was perfect - tucked away in a quiet plazza yet closed to all tourist attractions, central train station, and LiDL supermarket. I didn't find anything lacking from the hotel
Felix picked us up from the airport, recommended a fabulous restaurant for dinner that was beyond our expectations (truly delicious food) and located and drove us to an antique store we had passed when on the hop on hop off bus
Liked: staff and service, cleaness, property condition, breakfast, location, working AC, amenities. Friendly and helpful staffs made me feel welcome and my stay very pleasant
The housekeeper did an amazing job keeping our rooms super clean. I will definitely and highly recommend this place. And to top it off, it’s close to the trains and walkable to cathedral 👍
I loved the spacious room with bright and modern deco. Breakfast included traditional Sicilian food which was special
Though breakfast was not included when I got the property even though it was an option I added prior to booking the place - I still rate 5 stars due to its super cleanliness, amazing staff especially Angela who gave me and my son a smile

Perfect breakfasts, every morning we were suprized by a different meal. minimum distance from the centre, we were situated next to the Teatro. Reccomend if you are visiting Palermo and its wide area!
Close to the main attractions, the parking and the market. Thousands of restaurants and taverns for every taste. Wonderful Responsive and polite staff. I recommend it from the bottom of my heart

There are loads of very good restaurants close by. Definitely visit the Palace but make sure you don't chose a day when they are doing repairs - Weds & Thursday I think as you won't be able to see the royal apartments
We also went on a guided tour with Daniel through the Ballaro, Capo and Vucchiria markets, which was fantastic. We sampled all the local snacks and learned about Palermo’s history and landmarks along the way
We stayed for 3 nights and found the staff very helpful and friendly with excellent English. The room was clean if a little small. Breakfast is simple and served at one big table in the kitchen area
The best of Italian / Sicilian hospitality, location is superb, full of charm and life, fresh air, outdoor terrace, historic palazzo character…
The BB22 Palace team went above and beyond to take care of us, make recommendations, and reply to queries. For a group traveling to Palermo for the first time, I don't think it could have been better
We had the space to ourselves so it was very relaxing and comfortable for our week stay. Our host Patricia is the best - gave top recommendations for every sort of bar, restaurant and supermarket

The room is large, clean and comfortable. The facilities in the room is prefect. The location is very central and close to every attraction. It is so easy to get there from the airport by the airport shuttle bus
The host was very responsive and when an issue occured she arranged alternative accomodations for a night. Her apartment is like walking back in time 100 years with antique furnishings and 13' high ceilings
Lovely stay We really enjoyed our stay. The host Rosi is very friendly and helpful. The building itself is full of history and characters. Our room is at the lower ground floor which has its own entrance
Table and chairs, small refrigerator, hot water kettle, cooktop, sink, and tableware all included. Only complaint is could have used a microwave. The place was nothing fancy but was comfortable
We basically had two separate bedrooms - my wife and I slept in one with the baby in the provided crib and the 3 older children all had single beds in the other room with the kitchen
The really great thing about this place was the nearly perfect central location. Everything we wanted to visit in the center of the city was within about a 15 minute walk
