A friend recommended this hotel, and it gave us some wonderful memories in Baringo. The hotel's location is also quite easy to find. We arrived early and were even allowed to check in early, which was great overall. The only downside was the paint smell in the second-floor hallway, but not inside the room.
The room was spacious, the location was great, it was quiet, and the breakfast was delicious!
The hotel building is beautiful, a very old historical building. It's in a great location, within walking distance of all the attractions. The front desk staff are very helpful and can answer many questions. Overall, it offers good value for money.
Great location. Wonderful breakfast. Great staff.
My husband booked this hotel for me on Trip. This hotel is perfect for solo travel - very convenient, and very clean. I will definitely use this hotel again when I come.
Great location, friendly and helpful staff, and a good breakfast. Highly recommend!

Great location- good service. The room was clean, and comfortable. I only stood one night, as this was a transit day for me in Palermo. The staff were helpful and able to accommodate me arriving slightly earlier than expected. The location is great for a first time visit in Palermo- just outside the Quattro Canti.
A fantastic hotel! 1. Excellent location: Famous attractions like the Quadrilateral Square (crossroads), the Pretoria Fountain, and the Admiral's Abbey are right outside the door. The theater, palace, and cathedral are a 6-7 minute walk away. It's also situated in a bustling commercial area, making shopping and dining very convenient. 2. Excellent service: The staff are patient and welcoming, remembering...
The location is excellent, right next to the Quattro Square. The hotel looks very old and historic, reminding me of the Grand Budapest Hotel, but because it's so old, it has a slightly eerie feel to it—I guess that's just my perception. The service was very friendly; they proactively arranged a private car for us to the airport, and the hotel breakfast was also very generous.
The hotel is magnificent, truly palace-like. However, the facilities are a bit dated, and the bathroom was quite cramped, with a broken sliding door.
Excellent! Fantastic location! The staff were always on hand to assist with anything we needed.
The location is fantastic, within a 10-minute walk of the Teatro Massimo and Palermo Cathedral, and a 5-minute walk to the seaside. The hotel rooms are relatively basic, but the breakfast is absolutely amazing, with a wide variety of fruits, including incredibly sweet black plums. The house was once home to a baron, and the current dining room is his former bedroom.

Beautiful hotel within a short walk to all the sites you might want to see on a trip to Palermo. The hotel was lovely, and all of the staff were helpful. It is a beautiful as it looks in the pictures.
The hotel has an excellent location, making it very convenient to get to the opera house and the city center. The breakfast spread was generous, and the front desk staff could communicate in English. Although the hotel is rated five-star, the decor and facilities are showing their age.
[A first-class hotel with a classic style reminiscent of aristocratic life] This hotel is located in a hotel area one street west of Palermo's main thoroughfare, Via Roma. It's a little far from Treniaria Central Station and the bus terminal, about a 15-minute bus ride or over 30 minutes on foot, but it's an ideal location for sightseeing during your stay. [Excellent Points] First and foremost, the...
We have just spent three nights at Grand Hotel Wagner and it was outstanding in every way!! Our family stayed in three rooms and each one was beautifully appointed with fabulous toiletries, nice towels, nespeesso machines, and tea pots. The hotel bar was wonderful and reasonably priced. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was a fabulous display of assorted treats. The hotel is well situated...
Staying at the Hotel Wagner in Palermo was a great experience! The hotel and rooms were gorgeous and spacious. The hotel is in a great central location within walking distance of a ton of amazing food, shopping, and entertainment. All of the staff were so kind, hospitable, and helpful. Beautiful hotel in a renovated and repurposed palace. Service was excellent with a lot of grand salon spaces and a great bar on the main level. The rooms were beautiful, bathrooms well supplied. Very classy hotel.

Amazing New Year Eve celebration. Bartender Claudio provided exceptional service for our group. Good cocktails in Palermo. Grazie Claudio!
Very elegant hotel. I've been to other NH hotels before, but this is the nicest. The staff is friendly, and the best breakfast was Claudio, always ready and kind to serve me.
A great hotel with super friendly staff. Great location, really nice and friendly service. In particular Claudio, who served us at the breakfast buffet. After two days he knew our preferences for coffee and eggs and treated us as if we had come there to stay for years. We loved the hotel and can only recommend it.
This hotel is of a very high standard; I'm very satisfied with the modern facilities available in Europe.
What a warm welcome sitting at the bar, enjoying an aperol-spritz, made by Claudio - He surely is a win for all guests! Rooms where okay - the view could be better tho.
Claudio saved the Day after bad weather and a not so satisfying room-situation (wich was thankfully resolved). With his friendly attitude and his kind smile, he invited us to stay a little longer at the bar and have some great conversations about food and dining.

The hotel's location wasn't as good as I expected. Overall, it was alright.
The location is very convenient, and breakfast is available on the rooftop.
Excellent location by the Theatro Massimo. 15 ins walks to the main thoroughfare in the Old town. Great service, clean and beaitiful hotel with a great roof-top bar/restaurant and well equipped gym.
Location is good- I’m walking distance from the main sightseeings. 10 minutes to the bus stop to Mondello beach. Bed is comfortable. It would be nice to have some vegetables for breakfast.
The location of the hotel is very good, you can walk to many attractions, very close to the street of the Grand Theater, the facilities are relatively new, and the experience of staying is good. There is only one option when booking, which is a single room for one person. After arriving at the hotel, you have to pay an additional 40 euros per night for the second person staying. Close to the road...
The biggest advantage is that the location of the hotel is very good, in the city center, the hotel is very new, and the facilities are good, which can meet all the functional requirements of the plan. For traveling in Palermo, it is the best choice. You can walk to almost all important attractions. Nice hotel. Outside of historic center but it is easy to travel to any part of the city using busses (a bus passes in front of the hotel every 10 min or so). Several dinning options within walkable distance.
The staff were welcoming, and the room was comfortable and quiet.
Reception staff very helpful and friendly Overall very good nothing to complain about Situated in quiet area overlooking the park and easy walking access to see all the sights
Good hotel and helpful staff. Room and bed was great. Very good breakfast and cappuccino was excellent!
The staff was lovely and it was in a very nice area of Palermo. The room was a little warm at night but the hotel had a lot of great features.
I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Giardino Inglese, and I can wholeheartedly say it exceeded my expectations in all the right ways. This boutique hotel combines charm, comfort, and convenience in a way that makes it a standout choice for anyone visiting Palermo. The front desk was excellent. We arrived early and they allowed us check in. The front desk booked restaurants for us in advance and were always cheery! Fantastic stay!
This is my second time staying at this hotel. The location is convenient, the service is warm and attentive, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the price is excellent! I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time. Highly recommended! 👍
This hotel was located in an excellent spot to walk the historic city center. It was definitely a wonderful place to be.
The hotel reception staff were welcoming and provided excellent service; I was quite satisfied with the hotel. The parking lot is right in front of the hotel, and the restaurant is quiet and clean.
The hotel was lovely, clean and the staff so friendly. Breakfast was peaceful and delicious in the courtyard I slept so well after long days walking the Mercado Ballaro!
The room was very hot. The AC was not efficient. The hotel provides guests with fans, which tells me they know the rooms are hot. Bathroom was so small knees touch the shower doors when sitting on toilet. Shower head did not stay on when showering it kept falling down. Water was never cold. Only warm/hot water available? Very uncomfortable.

This is a lovely and reasonably priced hotel centrally located in Palermo. The hotel , the room , the staff and the amenities were all wonderful. The complimentary breakfast was absolutely outstanding and their small restaurant was very relaxing and classy. We would highly recommend this hotel.
Very central yet quiet location, easily accessible by car, valet parking for €25 per night, works perfectly. "Old-style" room with carpet, everything a bit worn, thinly soundproof, very good check-in/out.
Great staff. Very nice and knowledgeable. The air conditioning didn’t work very well but other than that. I highly recommend this place. Loved their breakfast options too
Perfect hotel right in the heart of the city. Staff is great and hotel is quiet to relax after a long day.
Staff were all welcoming and very helpful. Rooms were a bit outdated, but very clean and spacious. The location was amazing, everything was a short walk away. Overall, a highly recommend option for a hotel in the center of Palermo.

The location is easy to find, near the beach, and there are many restaurants on the pedestrian street outside. There's also a Chinatown nearby, which made me feel safe. We booked a triple room, and the double bed was very large. However, the air conditioner in the room seemed to be broken or something; it was always off no matter how many times I pressed the button, so it was very cold in the room...
Friendly staff, very clean and comfortable rooms. Pretty close to a lot of great destinations and restaurants.
Staff was fantastic, clean rooms and very centrally located. We had a car and free easy parking on the street nearby. Only recommendation I would like to add that the spa and masseuses would have later hours of opeartion. Last appointment was at 7pm. Would stay again. Beautiful hotel.
No spa opening times until 3pm and at a cost of 20 Euros a time. Guests should be able to use a sauna or steam surely within the room rate and be able to enjoy in the mornings?
It was clean and nice, and big rooms. Breakfast was ok but it could be better. And the room with a street view is noisy. But totally, it was a good experience for us, and probably if we decide to have another trip to Palermo, we will stay in this hotel again.
The Porta Felice Hotel was an excellent choice for our stay in Palermo. Its location is perfect, allowing us to explore the city's main attractions with ease. Our room was very spacious, quiet and comfortable, with an equally spacious bathroom — ideal for a good night's rest after a day of sightseeing. The room was spotless and the staff was attentive to our needs. They were very helpful whenever we asked questions.
When we did the check in, two young lady and gentleman at reception were friendly, which made us feel welcome. However, we had a plane to get and booked a shuttle to airport at 3:30am, the brown guy who charged at night was SUPER RUDE AND MEAN. He dropped one of the breakfast bags (he saw me already took one suitcase and a handbag, but still gave me three breakfast packs). The yogurt was broken and...
Family vacation Hotel is old and in need of repair and cleaning. Room was clean but evidence of mold above shower head. Mattresses are memory foam with memory beyond useful wear. Breakfast was very disappointing. Location was excellent.
Old property that is very quaint and unique. Perfect for a stay in the heart of the historic district. The staff is VERY friendly and accommodating. I would definitely return!
Very nice hotel in the center of Palermo, spacious and clean room.

A truly underrated hotel! The staff, accommodations, food and service were amazing! The views of Palermo from our balcony were great and being outside the city centre away from the hustle and bustle was refreshing. If you have a car it is definitely easier to come and go (driving is not for the faint of heart though, so be warned) being that it is up the mountain, but they provide a shuttle service...
Not airport hotel NOT AIRPORT HOTEL miles from anywhere Should not advertise airport shuttle it is misleading Wanted to charge 2€ to have a glass in the room Restaurant good
Vacation in Palermo Absolute stunning views! Loved the location even though it was 20 minutes from town. The quiet area versus busy city traffic noise was better for sleeping.
Overall a very nice place to stay. You need a car to get around because the hotel is high in the mountain.

The host was absolutely wonderful. The breakfast was exceptional, and the location was an absolute must for all the must sees in Palermo.
This is a beautifully restored building with cozy, well decorated rooms. The private spa was incredible with the large jetted tub and a waterfall as well as the sauna. All of the staff are friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and served in a beautiful open air square. I wish we could have stayed longer.
Nice property and room, although a bit cramped. Very walkable to the city center although the surrounding area is a bit on the rough side (safe and quiet though). Breakfast was exactly the same each day with rather basic and limited options. I'm not sure what the solarium and spa were about, there was no information about spa services onsite (although we could have inquired about that if we had had...
Clean and comfortable room. Just the right distance from the busy areas. Host was helpful and friendly
We didn’t feel safe going out in evening, we felt unsafe, had to use 3 keys for different doors to get in an out, and found front doors open on occasions.
Great team, very friendly and helpful. Beautiful room - Morgana - with unique character. In the old town, so better to leave your car for after the stay. Hotel is located in a quiet cul-de-sac but only moments away from all the Palermo's best.

Beautiful place. Our room was huge with wonderful design and styling. Spotlessly clean. Perfect location, easy walking to all the places you want to see for sightseeing. Easy check in, very helpful staff. No notes. We had such a wonderful experience
This space should receive more love here on TA. .... I highly recommeded. The rooms are very large, bright, beautifully done, high celings, ours has a balcony. Immaculately clean. Wonderful breakfast room. Well located, very attentive and helpful admin/staff (Carlotta). (arrange parking with them prior to arrival at a nearby lot)... stay here.
Our room was large, clean, comfortable, and very quiet. Divisi in conveniently located and it is an easy walk to many to historic sites and lively dining options. We had a very nice stay.
Historical building, wish we could stay longer. Amazing building, full of character and history. Pity there aren't more original features in the suite. One night stop before an early checkout, disappointed we couldn't be accomodated with an early breakfast...
Carlotta was very helpful and accommodating! Lovely property. Only problem was entrance is a little hard to understand unless you know beforehand.
Huge Room. Well located On a side street behind a wooden door and up a flight of stairs, a whole level turned into a series of suites. Staff very friendly and helpful, modern bathroom and huge room.
