Room was clean and hotel in an excellent location. Close to shopping, restaurants, and sightseeing. The room itself was a little dated, but well-equipped with a sitting area and kitchen. Repairs and upgrades are underway - we heard construction during our stay but nothing too disruptive. Housekeeping came every other day instead daily (this may be because I'd booked a Studio instead of a regular room...
This property could be fantastic with a bit of work/repairs. I can live with a few tiles missing in the shower and bathroom but what cause my low review was the lack of air conditioning. They turn it off in the cooler months for the whole building! Was not informed of this on check in and after waking in a seat at 1am went to the desk and they told me to open the window...around 2am the garbage...
. Price is good and you get what you pay for Decoration plain, breakfast room reminded me of a school refrectory! Breakast basic but adequate.
Good position
No complaints regading staff.
Amazing experience at Albergo Mediterraneo. Right in the heart of Palermo, everything is close by. Big room and great breakfast. I recommend this place and I will come back next time I'll be visiting Palermo.
Great experience, the staff was kind, breakfast quite rich, only flaw there is not much choice for lactose intolerance, only some biscuits and jams!
The rooms are quite clean, the towels are changed every day!
Very good location.
However, the hairdryer is really bad and the fridge is not cold.

One restaurant (Seven something) very expensive nearby. Wifi not very good. Would drop out. Stairs to third floor. Traffic noise and chair scraping.
minutes walk to train station and Palermo center, supermarket located in opposite street.
A good choice for a few days in Palermo. Excellent location and service. Simple and adequate facilities.
Not badly located, close to the central station, opposite a supermarket and Lidl. It's a pity there is no refrigerator in the room. Otherwise everything is fine
Excellent hotel, location near Palermo station
The rooms are big but very old. Even the sockets are old and it wasn't easy to find a spot to charge the phone. The rooms are clean but except for some shampoo the hotel doesn't provide anything.
The wifi is also bad, but it's very close to everything we wanted to see.

A beautiful bed and breakfast. The room we had was very spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was standard Italian breakfast. The staff were very helpful and really friendly. Location is fantastic and lots of attractions are within walking distance. All in all a great place to stay in Palermo
Cute 16th century place. Adequate service very slow and not consistent. Beds not very comfortable so I slept on the couch. Only thing that was nice was the breakfast and surprisingly for an area with some of the best espresso their espresso was disgusting.
Highly recommended. Within walking distance of many of the major sites in Palermo, 4 Quarti is an oasis of calm in a busy city. Superb breakfast at a communal table (and I don't say this lightly - most breakfasts in Sicily are good.) The rooms were nicely furnished; the communal space attractive; the hostess friendly and helpful (e.g., we were able to drop off our luggage a few hours early), although...

The service staff were excellent. Breakfast was delicious every morning. The room could have been clean. There was black stuff coming out of the tiles when I was showering. I was here for business, usually only back in the room after working hours, and the room met my basic needs.
Fantastic facility, very kind and knowledgeable staff. My compliments to everyone. Excellent breakfast. When we return to Palermo, we will return. Thank you...
Despite some negative comments, perhaps from people who stayed on the first floor, we were very happy with our stay at this hotel. The wait staff was extremely friendly, the breakfast was excellent, the room was clean, and the parking was free.
The only downside was the poor soundproofing in the rooms, but it was completely quiet after 11 p.m.
Food very basic, toilet makes a loud noise when you flush, you could hear people next door. Nice place overall, very clean, i would recommend as beds are very comfortable and its great if you are going with friends or on a school trip.
This place is simple/basic but all is clean and works properly. The mattress is comfortable. They offer a fair breakfast.
The hotel is a bit dated but the staff is very kind and helpful, the location is slightly off-centre but the breakfast is rather poor especially in the savoury section

the room was great, we even has a couch beside the bed which we found extra.
Water pressure for shower was non existent… otherwise clean and functional
It was about a 5-minute walk from the nearest bus stop. It took a while to get to the airport by bus. I was surprised that the building where I checked in was different from the building where I was staying.
Nice place. Luca and Luciano /the guys from the hotel were very kind. Parking in blue zone costs 1 euro per hour from 8 am to 2 pm and from 4 pm to 8 pm. From 2 pm to 4 pm there is no charge.
Spent 4 nights here in March, 2025. We cannot praise the staff enough - they were all excellent. The reception staff on arrival, and throughout were extremely helpful. Whether it was prepping our arrival or helping with onward travel arrangements, nothing was a problem or a chore to them. Another big thank you to the domestic staff - the initial pillows were a little wooly; however, this was soon sorted...
Parking is a little tricky, and expensive with a larger vehicle (SUV) but convenient and safe. The facility is definitely older, but well kept. The staff was extremely helpful and polite.

The Stay in Palermo has Many Appreciations for Its Quality😊/😊 and Its Professionalism😊😀. I appreciate Trip 😊😊 for the Excellent Service😊 😊 and I😊 Recommend😊
The hotel was in the center, breakfast was great, cheap and clean, I would stay again.
Great location and availability for check-in. We arrived on the last train from the airport and walked 5 minutes. Recommended
The room is outdated, the refrigerator does not work, the furniture is unnecessary, the window does not close well. But it is clean, spacious and in the city center.
Location is good. Safe and comfortable with a supermarket on a next street and shopping area around.
Overall its an old hotel that needs renovation
Breakfast is fine.
Rooms poorly equipped.

It is a little far from the center, but overall the hotel is fine.
Comfortable stay
It’s in the center but really comfortable and calm place with great service.
Not for noise-sensitive people.
It was quite noisy, as the windows were very thin and there was no real natural light in my room. Cleanliness was mediocre. Towels are only changed after departure, I suspect.
We enjoyed our stay at this small hotel with a private courtyard. The room was clean and had a very spacious bathroom with a window (which is important to me). It's five minutes from Palazzo Reale Station, making it convenient for visiting the main attractions. The quietness at night is also remarkable, allowing for a good night's sleep. Breakfast is simple, but offers both sweet and savory options...
Together with other colleagues we stayed in this hotel near the University of Palermo. It is a family-run hotel and the staff was very helpful and welcoming, making our stay pleasant. Clean rooms with good daily cleaning service. Breakfast offered very good and eaten under a very nice (isolated) gazebo. I highly recommend!
We had a very good time, very helpful people managers. I would have given an extra star 6dr the mattress had been slightly softer. In any case it is a place that I recommend

The best B&B and rooms in central area of Palermo
Excellent structure, with attention to detail and very comfortable. The rooms have nothing to envy of a 4-star hotel. The breakfast is varied and of good quality. Excellent instructions for entry without staff at location.
Excellent location, convenient for reaching places of interest in the centre. The owner turned out to be a helpful and kind person. Availability of a coffee machine with pods always available. In the refrigerator there are n. 2 bottles of water of 500 ml. Average cleanliness. What I didn't like: sanabox.
Structure in the center of Palermo, excellent choice for a short holiday, easy parking, which in a city like Palermo is never a given. Basic breakfast.
Our stay in Palermo
Location was great, right in the historic district. Free parking was a joke. It was free if you could find a space on the street. In the advertisement, it appeared breakfast was included along with breakfast photos. Breakfast was not as advertised. It was pretty much non existent. You can literally walk to every main interesting places in the centre from there and the station is also quite close. The host is absolutely lovely, always available. The room was spacious and clean and there is always coffee available to make at the entrance. 10/10
This hotel was very convenient to the Teatro Massimo where we had tickets to see a performance. The hotel is on the 3rd floor (4th floor for Americans) and the elevator was not working. Good service and communication on arrival. This is clean, basic accommodation in Palermo that was great for a short stay. There is a lift to the accommodation, which was much appreciated to get to level 8. Well located to walk to the major sites. I would return for a short stay in Palermo.
Clean, functional, powerful shower, roof terrace.
This is a great little B&B for travelers or vacationers. Massimo is extremely responsive and helpful. The rooms are cleaned every day and they do a great job. There is also a communal kitchen with a beautiful rooftop area to enjoy meals with a view of the sea and city.
The B&B does not have an external sign, there is only the writing on the bell. It is in fact an apartment in a condominium two minutes from the court. There is an elevator after a few steps in the entrance. In the apartment there are several rooms all equipped with climate and bathroom, furnished with great care but a little dusty ("heavy" carpets for those with allergies). The shower enclosure has...

I enjoyed the stay. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. I enjoyed the location as it was right next to the train station. It was also very close to the morning markets in the area. My only complaint was that our shower wasn't fully tightened and so there was inconsistent water flow through the shower head. Everything else was great however.
The location is very easy to find, right next to the station. Front desk service is also available, which is convenient.
Breakfast is served in the adjacent bar, and although the selection is limited, it's still quite good.
Considering the price, I think this is a very satisfying hotel.
The location is simply perfect – right next to the train station and the intercity bus stop! They gave us a better room than we booked, for which we are especially grateful! The cleaning wasn't great, of course, and there were a few odd issues, like a sagging floor and water leaking from the balcony when it rained. BUT, we didn't find these issues critical, as the convenient location and spacious room...
Positive things: The hotel is located right across the bus/train stations, which comes in handy. The breakfast offers a wide variety of sweet and savoury foods.
Negative things: The room was dirty; there were stains on the floor and bedsheets. The floor is slanted, and you can feel how it bends underneath your feet as you walk. There is a mini fridge in the room that neither cools nor keeps anything...
close to train station. breakfast was good
It's very convenient to extend your stay in the same room. However, I told the front desk I needed shower gel the night before, and they said they would provide it the next morning, but when I returned to the hotel, the shower gel was still empty.

We had a reasonable stay in hotel tonic, and we have no major complaints. Our room seemed pretty small compared to the other rooms in the hotel, at least those that we were able to see whilst their doors were open and the rooms being cleaned. This hotel is conveniently located near the city center of Palermo. The rooms were very small, extremely outdated, and somewhat dark. The bathroom and rooms were very clean. Clean but difficult access to third floor rooms,, especially with luggage. Shower head needed replacing and refrigerator did not work. Very comfortable bed and decent pillow.
Interesting neighborhood and easy to walk. Somewhat sketchy near the waterfront. A couple blocks from fabulous pizza.
24/7 front desk service. clean room, safe area. walkable to every major spot and central area
Very noisy and hot rooms. Air conditioning not very effective. Traditional furnishings. Not all that comfortable. Reasonable for the price but wouldn’t return.
The staff was very kind with us, the hotel is in the city centre so it's very easy to reach the main attractions. The structure is clean and very nice. I suggest it very much

The hotel is very conveniently located — it’s just a short walk to the main tourist attractions, which made exploring the city really easy. The overall appearance of the hotel is well-maintained and clean.

I really like the 24-hour front desk here. They are very welcoming and helpful. The room is the best room in this price range. The picture shows the food court which is a 1-minute walk away.
I went a few months ago and my experience was great. The staff was super friendly and the hotel very cozy. The location was perfect, I could walk everywhere.
The room is clean, there is a good air conditioner, the Wi-Fi works. There is a gas water heater in the bathroom, so you won't be able to wash for a long time under a hot shower
This hotel is located in the center of Palermo. The elevator is also old-fashioned and there is no parking. The waiter recommended outdoor parking, which costs a higher fee of 20 euros a night. Breakfast was average.

The moment I entered the room I could smell a little bit of cigarette, but when I switch on the aircon, the smell disappeared. The room, the bedsheets and the towels were really clean. The only problem was that I could hear people going in and out the room and it’s super loud.

In a very peculiar and agréable architectural style house back from early 1900 years it’s where this lovely b&b lies. I visited the place with my two daughters and we all agreed that it was the best we had ever been guests in. Very nice and cozy inside the common rooms, excellent furniture solutions in the room, the place is just a few hundred meters far from the beach, maybe ten minute walk in case...

Amazing room decor and very friendly and helpful staff
My stay was flawless! Good location: a stone's throw from the centre.
Spacious room, functional kitchen.
Excellent cleaning throughout the stay. The very kind owner, always available to meet the needs of those who are travelling. Visit Palermo, it's wonderful !!!
Very cozy and clean rooms. The managers are very friendly and accommodating. They make you feel at ease right away. Location not very central but very close to the center.
There is a shared kitchenette with fridge.
We enjoyed it. It is already the second time that we return.
Room was fitted with a kingsize bed with a single blanket but was advertised as a 4 bed room. The common kitchen is small and fixing yourself a meal there can be a challenge. The landlord couple is friendly but you should speak some Italian. WiFi was very intermittent and inconsistently working.
