Room was clean and hotel in an excellent location. Close to shopping, restaurants, and sightseeing. The room itself was a little dated, but well-equipped with a sitting area and kitchen. Repairs and upgrades are underway - we heard construction during our stay but nothing too disruptive. Housekeeping came every other day instead daily (this may be because I'd booked a Studio instead of a regular room...

This property could be fantastic with a bit of work/repairs. I can live with a few tiles missing in the shower and bathroom but what cause my low review was the lack of air conditioning. They turn it off in the cooler months for the whole building! Was not informed of this on check in and after waking in a seat at 1am went to the desk and they told me to open the window...around 2am the garbage...

Amazing experience at Albergo Mediterraneo. Right in the heart of Palermo, everything is close by. Big room and great breakfast. I recommend this place and I will come back next time I'll be visiting Palermo.

Great experience, the staff was kind, breakfast quite rich, only flaw there is not much choice for lactose intolerance, only some biscuits and jams! The rooms are quite clean, the towels are changed every day!

The rooms are big but very old. Even the sockets are old and it wasn't easy to find a spot to charge the phone. The rooms are clean but except for some shampoo the hotel doesn't provide anything. The wifi is also bad, but it's very close to everything we wanted to see.

A beautiful bed and breakfast. The room we had was very spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was standard Italian breakfast. The staff were very helpful and really friendly. Cute 16th century place. Adequate service very slow and not consistent. Beds not very comfortable so I slept on the couch. Only thing that was nice was the breakfast and surprisingly for an area with some of the best espresso their espresso was disgusting.

The service staff were excellent. Breakfast was delicious every morning. The room could have been clean. There was black stuff coming out of the tiles when I was showering. I was here for business, usually only back in the room after working hours, and the room met my basic needs.

Despite some negative comments, perhaps from people who stayed on the first floor, we were very happy with our stay at this hotel. The wait staff was extremely friendly, the breakfast was excellent, the room was clean, and the parking was free. The only downside was the poor soundproofing in the rooms, but it was completely quiet after 11 p.m.

Food very basic, toilet makes a loud noise when you flush, you could hear people next door. Nice place overall, very clean, i would recommend as beds are very comfortable and its great if you are going with friends or on a school trip.

It was about a 5-minute walk from the nearest bus stop. It took a while to get to the airport by bus. I was surprised that the building where I checked in was different from the building where I was staying.

Nice place. Luca and Luciano /the guys from the hotel were very kind. Parking in blue zone costs 1 euro per hour from 8 am to 2 pm and from 4 pm to 8 pm. From 2 pm to 4 pm there is no charge.

Spent 4 nights here in March, 2025. We cannot praise the staff enough - they were all excellent. The reception staff on arrival, and throughout were extremely helpful. Whether it was prepping our arrival or helping with onward travel arrangements, nothing was a problem or a chore to them. Parking is a little tricky, and expensive with a larger vehicle (SUV) but convenient and safe. The facility is definitely older, but well kept. The staff was extremely helpful and polite.

Together with other colleagues we stayed in this hotel near the University of Palermo. It is a family-run hotel and the staff was very helpful and welcoming, making our stay pleasant. This is a great little B&B for travelers or vacationers. Massimo is extremely responsive and helpful. The rooms are cleaned every day and they do a great job. There is also a communal kitchen with a beautiful rooftop area to enjoy meals with a view of the sea and city.

Great little place very clean and accommodating. Looks unassuming outside but rooms very good. Nice views. Bit off the beaten track nearby some good local restaurants. 15 mins from Norman Chapel and Cathedral.

I enjoyed the stay. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. I enjoyed the location as it was right next to the train station. It was also very close to the morning markets in the area. My only complaint was that our shower wasn't fully tightened and so there was inconsistent water flow through the shower head. Everything else was great however.

This hotel is conveniently located near the city center of Palermo. The rooms were very small, extremely outdated, and somewhat dark. The bathroom and rooms were very clean. If you are looking for just a place to sleep at a good price, it offers great value. The breakfast was amazing and the staff, helpful and accommodating.

The moment I entered the room I could smell a little bit of cigarette, but when I switch on the aircon, the smell disappeared. The room, the bedsheets and the towels were really clean. Great location to stay in Palermo. Nice accomodatiion in a wunderful renovated pallazzo extremely central but astoundinlgly quiet if your room is to the courtyard. The greatest detail of this site is the amazing host, Luna an extremely kind person with deep knowledge of culture and history. In a very peculiar and agréable architectural style house back from early 1900 years it’s where this lovely b&b lies. I visited the place with my two daughters and we all agreed that it was the best we had ever been guests in. Tastefully and modernly furnished accommodation with outdoor shower comes along with very nice owners and a beautiful and lively beach within walking distance. Questions were answered via Whats App quickly at any time. Yoghurt, tea and coffee could be consumed around the clock. Overall, we felt very comfortable in the accommodation.

Very cozy and clean rooms. The managers are very friendly and accommodating. They make you feel at ease right away. Location not very central but very close to the center. There is a shared kitchenette with fridge. We enjoyed it. It is already the second time that we return.

Room was fitted with a kingsize bed with a single blanket but was advertised as a 4 bed room. The common kitchen is small and fixing yourself a meal there can be a challenge. The landlord couple is friendly but you should speak some Italian. WiFi was very intermittent and inconsistently working.
