Casa Dell'Aromatario b&b in Sciacca

We loved our stay at this beautiful B&B. Silvio and his brother couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly, and the breakfasts of local cheese, salami and pastries were always delicious. We'll be returning! - Tim and James

We stayed at B&B Casa dell'Aromatario for 3 nights, and it was hands-down one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily. Silvio and his brother Carmelo run an extraordinary place, and Silvio’s hospitality is truly second to none. He takes immense personal pride in ensuring his guests have a flawless experience, not just inside the B&B, but throughout all of Sciacca. From the moment we arrived, Silvio went above and beyond—even helping us get our car parked smoothly, which was a huge stress-reliever. He seems to know everyone in town and leverages his local connections so you get VIP treatment wherever you go, whether it’s restaurant recommendations, great cocktail spots, or local activities. Every single suggestion he gave us was spot on. The room itself was fantastic—spacious, immaculately clean, with a great modern bathroom setup. Most importantly for a Sicilian summer, the air conditioning was excellent and kept us perfectly cool! Breakfast each morning is an experience in itself: served in an incredible atmospheric cave on the bottom floor, carved right into the mountainside. The typical Sicilian spread was off-the-charts fresh, authentic, and utterly delicious. We cannot recommend Silvio, Carmelo, and Casa dell'Aromatario highly enough. We will definitely be back!

Silvio was an amazing host. Made this the best stay of our whole trip. The property is very nice and in a great area. Also unique experience with the cave room where breakfast is, terrace lounge areas, and the garden. Thanks for an excellent stay.

Silvio and Carmelo are exceptional hosts! Their b&b was our favorite stay in Sicily. They go above and beyond to ensure their guests are comfortable and happy. Silvio was incredibly helpful in assisting us with transportation. He was quick to respond on WhatsApp whenever we needed him and the location was perfect. Everything was so clean and smelled great too! The breakfast was in the beautifully renovated cave and was delicious with so many locally sourced items. The tour and history behind Casa dell’Aromatario b&b was so interesting. We were able to taste many of the herbs and plants that Carmelo grows. It was such a unique and wonderful experience. Even if you don’t end up staying there, I highly recommend taking their tour of the cave and plants!

This is the BEST little hotel with only 6 rooms. Everything is so clean and the 2 brothers owning the place that I've got to know, is the kindest you will find i Sciacca.
Please go there, and ask for a small tour of all the fantastic herp plants they grow there, it's amazing and you would want to go back many times in you life as I will.

Our favorite part of visiting Sciacca was the place we stayed. Our host Silvio was so helpful - his greeting us upon arrival, helping us find a parking space, and orienting us to the b&b and our room, and making recommendations for dinner. This is a special place - like a museum with a beautiful renovated space in a 2000 year old "cave" (where we had a incredible breakfast). Silvio has great passion/enthusiasm for the property. He shared the story (history) of the building and how he and his brother renovated the space. And, he also gave us a personal tour of 65 edible and medicinal plants that his family are growing in the alley next to the BnB. This was an unforgettable experience.

From the welcoming staff to the cleanliness of our room, the uniqueness of the building and the beautifully scented plants, our stay was too short as we made a quick stop in Sciacca. I can’t recommend this place more. It was a 5 star experience all around.

This is a great place to stay in Sciacca, the owner and staff were very helpful and nice. The room was clean, roomy and had a beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea, with outside patio with chairs to enjoy the view. We would highly recommend this place and we were very grateful for the special favor of being picked up at the bus station !
The breakfast was delicious with local fruits, jams and delicious Sicilian pastries & cappuccino. We also very much enjoyed the botanical tour of the herbs and garden!

, And Sylvia treated us like family they want above and beyond to make us feel at home.
Sylviio even messaged us at our next destination to make sure that we arrived safely and that everything was OK. highly recommend staying here. Also do not miss the tour and a fabulous herb garden.
