Casa Dell'Aromatario b&b in Sciacca

From the welcoming staff to the cleanliness of our room, the uniqueness of the building and the beautifully scented plants, our stay was too short as we made a quick stop in Sciacca. I can’t recommend this place more. It was a 5 star experience all around.

This is a great place to stay in Sciacca, the owner and staff were very helpful and nice. The room was clean, roomy and had a beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea, with outside patio with chairs to enjoy the view. We would highly recommend this place and we were very grateful for the special favor of being picked up at the bus station !
The breakfast was delicious with local fruits, jams and delicious Sicilian pastries & cappuccino. We also very much enjoyed the botanical tour of the herbs and garden!

, And Sylvia treated us like family they want above and beyond to make us feel at home.
Sylviio even messaged us at our next destination to make sure that we arrived safely and that everything was OK. highly recommend staying here. Also do not miss the tour and a fabulous herb garden.

Casa Dell Aromatario is modern, light-filled, beautifully decorated with plants and has all the right touches. It appears that no expense was spared in constructing the B&B from an ancient church property. The room where you take breakfast has been carved out of rock and is an architectural beauty. Although it was too chilly to take advantage of the rooftop terrace it looks perfect for late afternoon drinks or just lounging and taking in the view. But what makes this place really special are the hosts, Silvio and his brother Carmelo. They are the most accommodating and helpful hosts with restaurant recommendations and other information and will do anything to make your visit as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

A really lovely, memorable, hotel. The 2 brothers who own the hotel could not be more attentive - keen to ensure that all of their guests enjoy their stay and have everything they need. There is no parking outside the hotel but there is free parking nearby, which you are shown to once you have unloaded your luggage. The whole hotel is beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. There are artefacts relating to the history of the building which are really interesting and we had a tour of the herb garden too. There are a couple of roof terraces where you can sit and relax and there is free tea available during the day. Breakfast in the cellar is really lovely - all local produce in a fascinating part of the building. We stayed for 2 nights and thought Sciacca was nice enough, but not outstanding. We will probably remember our stay at Casa dell’Aromatario more than the town, as it was a really memorable experience.

Lovingly restored old villa hotel with sparkling clean and new modern finishes. Carmelo and Silvio are brothers who are passionate about their property and its history. Our room was large and had views of the old church next door and across the rooftops to the sea. We had access to two terraces with seating, one sunny and one shady. Breakfast was excellent with many fresh choices and local specialties. We were given a tour of the ancient rooms in the basement and also the lovely herb garden with many unusual plants. All of the sights of Sciacca are within easy walking distance, as are many restaurants. We hope to return one day!

What a little gem of a place. Sadly we only stayed here for one night, by default as our b@b had double booked us. Silvio went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Beautiful rooms, stunning 1000 year old breakfast room, breakfast was amazing.
