Nice place and nice staff. Had to pay for sending a jacket they had, without my knowledge, offloaded from the inside of the car, not trunk, and hanged it in a closet. Would have been nice for them to pay the transport but OK.

The garden is amazing. The hotel offers tons of opportunities starting with yoga, and bike rental up to oldtimer rides. It is very well located, 15 min walk from the beautiful Botanical garden. I appreciate the friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere.

My second stay, if I return to Merano I will stay again. The staff is absolutely lovely, they’ll make reservations at the baths (the peel and wrap is a trip) and have spa bags (robe & towel) for rent, and I really like their single rooms (#209) - the balcony and hallway make it seem much larger. And the bedding is wonderful.

Fully renovated and supremely located hotel. The rooms are very spacious for European standards, and very comfortable. Reliable high-speed WiFi and functioning A/C. Easy access to pedestrian shopping and dining. The hotel offers free parking at a garage less than 50 meters away (parking reservation suggested). Full continental breakfast, and amazing coffee. In the heart of Merano, this hotel is like it name is: splendid! Many lights, very good breakfast, a modern restaurant and lobby. The room was not so modern and splendid, but good! I again would sleep in!

We’ve just had a really lovely couple of days in this hotel. We were welcomed by a really nice gentleman called Peter who showed us to our room. He made us feel very welcome. Decor is gorgeous and views are to die for. So many lovely little touches that made us feel very special. Our two boys loved the pool and slide and the kids area. Thank you so much.

Very nice place to stay at an relax overlooking Merano ! The food was auper yummy and well presented and excellent quality ! I only can complain on a small issue of the air conditioning which was not cooking enough but apart from that it is surely a nice place to stay at in Merano

Great hotel! Super clean. Rich breakfast! Very friendly staff! However, you should be careful when booking - the "normal double rooms" only have a French balcony. We definitely missed a balcony to sit out on or to hang up clothes in the fresh air after hiking. Unfortunately, we did not pay attention when booking.

The hotel was perfect: everything was brand new and very clean. The staff was very friendly and nice. The dinners were excellent and very tasty. Even though the hotel is not close to the center, I'd recommend it for sure.

We booked the hotel at short notice while we were already there. Unfortunately, when we checked in, we found out that the room didn't even have air conditioning. But it's actually standard for me. For a minimal extra charge we got a new room, which was much more modern than the old one. Apparently there is a renovated area and a non-renovated area. Amazing family run 4*superior Boutique Hotel. The rooms and the rooftop rose garden have amazing mountain views and the Spa has an incredible indoor & outdoor pool, Sauna, Turkish bath and relaxation area. The absolute highlight is the food. We loved this hotel! We met friends for the weekend. Together we were four adults and seven children. It is clean, beautiful, modern but charming and the family who owns it is so kind and helpful! It is walking distance to a castle and gardens. The restaurant was delicious for breakfast and lunch. The pool was the perfect temperature and perfect for adults and children. We stayed for 3 nights, good quality/price, good panoramic position. It is half an hour's walk from the center, so for those who love walking there are many pedestrian paths that lead to the center of Merano. 5 minutes from there by car, there is the cable car that takes you to Merano 2000. I would say the location of the pension is excellent.

It can also be booked late in the evening but then the access code does not arrive immediately (yes, because there is self check-in) and if you point it out via the telephone number you will be told that it is your fault for booking so soon in advance. Don't ring the external intercom because the old man will come out and freak out (closing the door behind him without helping you). Don't try to check...

A nice hotel near the center of Meran. The staff was friendly and kind, the breakfast was great, they offered many things. The room had an air conditioning, was quiet and clean. Only the bathroom was a bit old and did not fit to the rest of the hotel and to the photos online. And parking is not included in the price, but you can find a spot nearby.

This hotel is good to stay in holidays

We didn’t stay in the hotel but had lunch there on the day Merano flooded with tourists. The place’s real local, almost no tourist at lunch time. Food was very nice and good price. Service is good.

Good hotel in center of Meran. Very old building with high ceilings we liked it. Not up to date but good enough for us. Private parking was full so we had to put our car on the street. Breakfast was good but not perfect.
