This small but exquisite hotel fulfills every wish in terms of location, amenities, and service.
The rooms are modern and comfortable, the hospitality of the Krause family (and their team) is always warm and attentive, the breakfast is delicious, and dinner is consistently a Michelin-starred delight! The relatively new spa area further enhances the feeling of well-being.
And then there's the location: breathtaking views from the sunny terrace or balcony overlooking the valley and the surrounding mountains, easy access to hiking trails and tours, and perfect public transport connections (free of charge).
We enjoy our time here again and again, in every season!

Incredibly friendly staff; the hotel owners are very open and helpful. There's a generally welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The rooms are clean and lovely. The food is fresh, and there's a wide variety of choices at breakfast. The spa and pool are beautiful and well-maintained. The location is fantastic, with public transport right next door.

On the recommendation of my sister-in-law/brother-in-law, we booked our South Tyrol vacation at Hotel Krause this year (June/July 2025). And we didn't regret it for a second! The location is simply stunning, the rooms are beautiful and very clean. The service staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The food—both the breakfast buffet and the five-course dinner—was excellent. A big compliment to the kitchen staff! The outdoor area with its pool and whirlpool is beautifully maintained with citrus trees and lots of herbs. It offers plenty of space to relax.
Their slogan, "Sunshine in the House," truly reflects the Krause family and staff! Stephan Krause is the epitome of cheerfulness. We highly recommend this hotel. We plan to return in 2026. The only thing we would wish for is a refrigerator in the room.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights and felt very comfortable!
The friendly, open, and welcoming nature of the Krause family made our little vacation something special!
The location is great, with plenty of (free) parking. The view of the mountains and valley from the hotel is magnificent.
The hotel's outstanding dinner deserves special mention; the quality and taste are top-notch!
There are several courses, everything is always beautifully presented and professionally served.
The rooms are beautifully and tastefully decorated and very clean.
There is an outdoor pool and two whirlpools, as well as a luxurious wellness area on the top floor.

If you want to spend a wonderful holiday, you have to book here. From the food to the rooms, everything was excellent. Hardly any words can be found about the location and the view, simply enchanting.
Also to be highlighted is the staff, right down to the hosts. Always friendly and always eager to pamper the guest.

This is the second time we have been to the Krause family in Dorf Tirol and will certainly come back again. Why? Because the holiday begins here from the very first minute: with a warm welcome. Mr. Krause is the entertainer in the house who always has a joke on his lips and who simply infects his smile. But you shouldn't forget Ms. Krause, because she takes care of the guests (a little more in the background), always gives great tips and takes care of every extra request.
The family atmosphere is rounded off by excellent food, a great pool and a great wellness area. The highlight is the hotel's terrace, where you can enjoy the great view of the valley while having breakfast or having a drink in the evening.
A special recommendation is the house hike with Mr. Krause. This is offered once a week and should not be missed.

For almost a whole week there was no TV in all rooms that doesn't work
