We have stayed many times in the Meranerhof and mostly return to Merano because of th hotel and the exception staff and owners. There is always warm greeting for us and real questions about our family and life. It is like visiting real caring people. We always spend some time in the swimming pool. The evening meals are good and worth taking advantage of the half pension offer. The hotel bar is always a nice cozy place to chat with other guest. I am sure we will return again soon.

I left my diamond and ruby earrings, a precious gift from my mother, in my room at Hotel Meranerhof. I realized it shortly after leaving and called immediately, explaining exactly where I had left them. They told me to wait while they checked, but I never received a call back. After following up again, I was told they “didn’t find them” with no effort or sense of urgency from the staff. I was shocked and heartbroken. Their complete lack of responsibility and care makes me feel like my earrings were stolen. I left the hotel without them and cannot trust this staff with anything valuable. I strongly advise anyone to be extremely careful they clearly do not handle guests’ belongings properly, as they should it's not that I forgot them and remembered 2 months later, it was a 10 minutes thing.

Lovely hotel, room very clean and spacious, staff always helpful and polite and a beautiful setting. We had a very relaxing week. Food was very good lots of choices for both breakfast and dinner. Plenty to do exploring the area. Would definitely return.

A wonderful hotel in a great location, in the center of beautiful Merano. The staff was amazing as they made us feel very welcome from the minute we checked in to the time we left. Among other things, they provided us with good local information to enjoy our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable with a modern bath with optional steam shower and a lovely balcony. Everything was spotless. The food was excellent as was the wait staff. All in all, a perfect and historic hotel to enjoy this lovely town. Highly recommended.

Lovely stay at the Meranerhof. Excellent room overlooking the garden first floor had a bath, bidet and shower well maintained Rita on a daily basis .Road noise blocked out completely with shutter down at night . Very effective aircon. Vegetarian food was fine , occasionally a little bland for our taste but varied and readily available. Daily salad buffet very good . Spa and swimming pool very enjoyable, we used them every day . Staff extremely helpful and pleasant . Early flight home ,hotel provided breakfast bag to go and night porter made a hot drink for us before we travelled home . Fabulous experience. Travelled with Inghams Excellent care given ,good transfer by private taxi and excellent knowledgeable rep.

We have stayed in this hotel many times over the past five or six years. It is a family owned/run business and that shows through. There is care in little details like fresh flowers in the rooms and restaurant. We always receive a courteous greeting. The overall atmosphere is so comfortable. The pool and garden are special. We enjoy the restaurant and the rooms are very nice with good beds, pillows and covers. We have stayed here in all seasons.

Centrally located with easy access to the shopping district via foot. Bus transportation is available near the hotel and the train station is a short 10 minute walk. The staff is exceptional and professional. Room cleanliness was always outstanding and timely. Restaurant service was impeccable. Attentive service without being intrusive. Potential menu options were always presented upon request.

Third time to the hotel and it remains a great place to stay. I had a single room at the front of the hotel overlooking the river, well laid out and plenty of space. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent, especially when you can eat on the terrace. Well placed for all the amenities of town.
