We had a wonderful stay! The room was very clean, beautifully decorated, and had a romantic atmosphere. The service was excellent, and the staff were always kind and attentive. The location is perfect, close to everything yet peaceful, and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic with plenty of delicious options. Highly recommended!

A good place to stay in San Gimignano citadel that also offers breakfast for the money. But the rooms were not perfectly clean, the bed was average and you could hear the people downstairs talking in the morning. Inside there is no elevator, so you need to climb the stairs with the luggage. Breakfast is good.

Very good location, the room was clean , the breakfast delicious and the staff nice and friendly, too friendly even with very noisy restaurant clients. So, doesn't matter the bed was very good , if the night was terrible. In the restaurant, right under my room was a 20-30 local people party, with guys staying at terrace out to smoke, laughing loudly, shouting and yelling to some others inside and that did last till 1:30 at midnight and the staff didn't tell them nothing about disturbing the guests that paid for room.

Very nice restaurant in San Gimignano, recommended by our concierge. Charming ambiance, brick vaulted ceilings. Service was attentive, food very good, price reasonable. Great wine selection. We wanted an "easy and comfortable" place for a quiet good meal and our concierge's pick was perfect. Recommended if you are in San G.

A pleasant guest house right at the bottom of San Gimignano - access to bus stop 50m away. Breakfast is continental and plentiful. Great cappuccinos! Restaurant serves great food. Ossobucco was great. Lovely family-owned business.

Negatives: Bad hygiene standarts - mold in the bathroom, hairs in the shower. Terrible view from the room in the dirty backyard. Breakfast was just fine. Very dirty coffee machine- espresso tasted bad, like in Austria or Germany.

Positives: Location of the hotel was perfect. Very nice and stylish building. Staff was friendly and kind..

Our room was very oldschool but clean, well maintained and comfortable. Location is perfect just behind one of the gates and within the old town. Breakfast can easily compete with 5* hotel.

Nice and comfort, right choice for honeymoon.
They have a restaurant at first floor, i think is the best here, delicious food with romantic atmosphere, and classical music.
Someday, i'll go there again.

A place to be avoided! The food was actually good, but he service just awful! They were arrogant, unhelpful, and very rude, and the only reason we stayed was because we had to eat as we had kids and a baby with us, otherwise we would have not tolerated such behaviour. The restaurant was quite empty and we were eleven and they did not want to serve us. Once we managed to convince them to accommodate us they kept being unhelpful and rude. The cherry on the cake was when we realised they charged cover for our 15 month old baby .. this was just odd.

What a shame, as the food is actually good, but with so many options and places, I wouldn’t bother going here, they don’t deserve it!
