Tenuta Moriano in Montespertoli

Our stay at Villa Tenuta Moriano exceeded all expectations! It’s a cozy and stylish place with an incredible atmosphere of peace and comfort. The villa is well-maintained, beautifully decorated, with clean rooms and everything you need for a pleasant stay. We especially loved the pool and the view — absolutely stunning!

The hosts were very friendly and always ready to help. You can really feel that they put their heart into this place. The location is also great — peaceful and surrounded by nature, yet close to interesting spots.

Highly recommended! We’d be happy to come back again.

We have stayed at Tenuta Moriano for longer stays the last couple of years and will always come back! They are so kind and the property is gorgeous. It is the perfect location if you are looking for somewhere in the country to stay while you navigate the chianti areas. The sunsets at Tenuta Moriano are epic, and they have a low chlorine pool which is great for swims if you don't like chemicals. The place is family run and they also have a winery and tasting room on the property. My favourite wine is their cabernet Tufesco it is delicious and worth coming back for. Lastly, they have a wheelchair accessible apartment in their villa for people who need easy access and a rolling shower. I will always remember their kindness and hospitality and cannot wait to come back in 2026!

Perfect place to stay in Tuscany.

For people who love to drive on scenic roads this location is perfect, because any direction you go the view is top notch.

Lovely staff and very cozy apartments with a beautiful and peaceful morning view.

For the first time in a long while the noise that woke me here, wasn’t the cars or people, instead what has awakened me was the chirping of the birds, truly relaxing.

We spend 3 night out the main season, autumn in this part where Tenuta Moriano located was very beautiful. We were happy almost with everything - but as I told to the staff - the last part of the road leading to you was really in terrible condition, but things would be better I guess. Anyway, thank you for beautiful stay, we would like to come back in future again.

We stayed as a family and enjoyed the properties facilities including pool swings and outdoor games. The Tuscan dinner was enjoyable with amazing views. Property in convenient to local restaurants and provided a great recommendation list. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return. Great value.
My only suggestion would be to provide some basics on arrival such as tea, coffee, milk. A hairdryer would also be useful.

We stayed at Tenuta Moriano with a family of four and had a wonderful time. Service of the hosts was great, we especially enjoyed the wine tasting!! Apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. The pool was amazing. We overall would definitely recommend staying here.

Wow! If you are looking for a special Tuscany experience, stay here. We ended up at Ricardo’s place when our reservation at another vineyard fell through. We we were treated as honoured guests right from the start. Natalia even arranged an excellent taxi service for us from the main town where we found ourselves “stranded”. We were so warmly greeted at the estate. The bottle we were given upon our arrival won first place at a Canadian contest for “wines under $20” a few years ago in Quebec - not surprising. Later on, the wine tasting and tour was way beyond the usual tourist offering. We were totally spoiled with a huge selection of wines and delicious local appetizers. We didn’t need to eat dinner afterwards for sure. They have fantastic, reasonably priced wines, and the tour was incredibly inexpensive for what was provided. The rustic lodgings were very comfortable and clean, with a well-equipped, modern kitchen where we made many meals easily. The pool was huge, and very clean, although chilly in mid October. Just walking through the vineyards of the property was an amazing experience. Nice to do our laundry as well, in the free lavanderia on-site. We also rented e-bikes in the town nearby (Montespertoli) - another dream-come-true adventure. We walked into town one day - great exercise but with steep hills. The views on the walk to town are spectacular - like paintings you see in a museum. We found out that there is a direct bus to and from Florence - Montespertoli with room for luggage, so you don’t really need to take the train to Empoli. We would definitely consider returning to Tenuta Moriano with friends so they can have this “bucket-list” experience. Thanks Natalia and Ricardo for making our trip to Tuscany so memorable!
