I had the most amazing trip here. The only issue I have is we didn’t stay long enough! The food was out of this world, the wine and wine tasting were fabulous, the spa was luxurious. To top it off the staff goes above and beyond. We even had an early checkout and they packed us a delicious breakfast! You NEED to come here - it’s the perfect retreat to unwind and totally relax.

Spend the money. It is worth every penny. We spent five nights there for our daughter’s wedding and it was magical. We had no issues, the place was clean and the staff were friendly. The social areas and lobby was very nice. If only the weather was warmer during our stay; the little courtyard looked like it would be lovely! The loft room we were in could use an update mainly just for style, and mostly in the bathroom. Fantastic, highly recommend. An amazing property that is managed with love and care. The location was easy to find using Google Maps and we parked at the door. We had an outstanding time staying at Villa Schiatti. I want to thank Aleen, Laura, Rosario, Giuseppina, Eva and the rest of the staff. They made it very welcoming for my family. Normally, my review would highlight the accommodations, the location, the food, the service, etc. but not this time. It was more .... it is the people that make Villa Schiatti so special. if you are interested in experiencing Tuscany with the locals.... book your vacation here.

Clean, friendly kind service, great breakfast and dinner. Fantastic views. A restored 1800’s monastery, so rooms are not like a 5 star hotel but beds were comfortable. I am 6’1” and 200#. Shower was small. That’s my only complaint. Everything else excellent.

If you want an old Italian villa experience with modern conveniences, this is for you. The staff are very friendly and hardworking. The food is delicious, with an exceptional breakfast buffet. They will cater to your every need, and provide amazing excursions. This is away from the usual Italy tourist sites, providing a lovely escape.

One of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed at I'm seriously impressed by how beautiful this hotel was. Rustic, beautiful tiles and floors, doors, gorgeous gardens and pool, all built into the side of a mountain with a stream running by as a view for breakfast. The room was also spacious and clean. We spent great family vacation with our 2 year old here. The apartment was clean and well equipped and the surroundings were great with an amazing pool and huge backyard, where our toddler could run freely. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. We also appreciated the location, as it was in very close proximity to Cortona and some lovely typical tuscan and umbrian towns.

Place has great grounds with garden and swimming pool. The apartments are well organised to give you comfort of cooking for yourself if needed.

The place is tranquil and facing to the valley and mountains so wherever you are staying you can get a perfect view. No breakfast service at the property however it is not a problem as local supermarket (Conad) is within 5 minutes drive so you go for bits and pieces and buy a variety of local fresh food: cheese, ham, sausages, veggies etc

This is one of the most beautiful resorts I have been to while in Europe. Not a resort. The staff are kind but limited in their abilities to effect change. Food is only marginally good. Breads are stale, cakes are dry, eggs must be ordered and are good at breakfast. Small towns are WAY better than the days we spent in Milan, Florence and Rome.
