Hotel Nettuno in Bardolino

Excellent Hotel. Lovely staff. Good bedroom etc. breakfast top notch, just beside lake and 6 minutes walk into centre. 10/10 delighted with my stay.

We have been staying at this hotel for over 20 years . After a disappointing holiday last year ,we hesitated if we should return. . However ..we did , and wow , what a difference . A truely wonderful holiday . From the efficient restaurant / bar staff , to the housekeeping ,and of course the reception team . Everyone just perfect . Combine this together with the location and what you get is ..bliss . Thank you to Hotel Nettuno .

Having stayed at this hotel many times we found that last year was a bit of a disappointment. Having just returned from our stay this year it was totally different. All of the dining room staff, but in particular, Enrique and Marvin were excellent, very helpful, friendly and always professional. Gianluca the Maitre D was always very attentive, friendly, and ready to help, surprising us with a special treat for our wedding anniversary. The receptionist was also very friendly and Luca on the bar was a treat. All the staff were brilliant, too many to mention. The meals were excellent, an amazing choice in the buffet breakfast and evening meals consisted of a salad buffet, a pasta course, a main course and a dessert. One of the evenings there was a barbecue out on the terrace. We had a lovely big room with a side view of the lake, one improvement from last year was very simple, a chair in the room. Somewhere to sit but also somewhere to put your clothes. There was a spotless shower room with a fabulous shower and always plenty of hot water. A fabulous week altogether.

Just returned from a week half board at the Nettuno. This hotel is in an excellent location with lake right in front of it and beautiful sunset views from the restaurant. The food is outstanding, we couldn’t fault it. Every meal was exceptional and the buffet breakfast was excellent too. However the jewel in the Nettuno Crown has to be the staff. Without exception they are all incredible. Friendly, efficient, everyone greets you with a smile and nothing is too much trouble. It’s impossible to single anyone out as honestly, they are all so lovely. The reception staff, the restaurant manager, the restaurant staff, the bar staff and the housekeepers, all wonderful. I 100% recommend this hotel and will definitely return

We had a lovely stay at hotel nuttuno the lake side was lovely the hotel was spotless and staff couldn't do enough for us we would like to give a shout to Enrique Marvin Backery and all kitchen staff the food was excellent and front of house also Gianluca was welcoming us and making sure we were OK

We booked this hotel through a last minute offer, however we did like the look of it prior to booking and how right we were. The location is just on the outskirts of Bardolino but right on the lake edge and the views are fantastic with a mesmerising sunset each night from the restaurant and terrace. Bardolino is one of many beautiful towns on the lake and only a ten minute walk away. The rooms are modern with loads of storage and excellent value. They are kept in good repair and immaculately clean. The pool area at times can get busy but generally there are enough sun loungers. The pool itself is bracing when you first get in but as it was so hot was perfect. You can order drinks from the table at the pool so no need to move. Only thing perhaps I would add is a pool side toilet but only a small thing. Breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice and an omelette maker twice a week. There is then a choice of hot or cold food with plenty of variety We went half board and the evening meals were all absolutely fabulous. There is a salad and vegetable buffet with added extras to start then three courses of al la carte quality food different every night for the week we were there. As I said above the views from the restaurant and terrace make it even better. We had a couple of pizza lunches excellent quality again and not expensive. The inside bar is air conditioned and the prices are the same as the bars in the town (5.5 euros for a 0.4L beer) Best of all is the staff, they are all so knowledgeable and friendly just superb can’t praise them enough As you can tell we loved it and the Lake Garda area then adds to it as it’s a beautiful location.

We have just spent a wonderful 10 days at Hotel Nettuno to celebrate 4 big birthdays. The hotel was perfectly located on the Lake side, in the quieter end of town but just a few minutes walk to the bars/restaurants. It was clean, well appointed, and the food was amazing, but it's star quality is the staff. Every encounter we had was positive, friendly, helpful and of an exceptional standard. Nothing was too much trouble. Service was so personal. Thank you so much for all you did to make our stay a very special holiday, and please pass on our thanks to every member of the team, including front desk, bar/waiting staff, room service, maintenence, and kitchen staff. You are all wonderful xx

Excellent hotel located on the lakeside, ideally placed for a short stroll along the lake into Bardolino. Staff all very friendly and knowledgeable. Great restaurant overlooking the lake with a good selection of food.

We spent an amazing 10 days here and cannot speak highly enough about the hotel but especially the staff. Gianluca and his team are amazing; I have to give a special shout out to Enrique for ensuring we had decaf coffee ordered and the gluten free basket of goodies for me at breakfast and to Nicola for explaining my gluten free options in the evening but, everyone was just fantastic. The hotel is in a gorgeous location on the lake and watching the sunset whilst eating dinner on the terrace was magical. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Well done Nettuno, keep up the good work!
