Hotel Kennedy in Lido di Jesolo

While this hotel advertises its best rooms and that's how we were tempted to book there in the first place, we were being given a room... That reminded me of the broom storage. Small, even though we booked 2 seperate beds we were welcomed with one conjoined bed we had to seperate (we were missing duvets because of it), small stiff pillow that was difficult to sleep on. There were small windows under the ceiling, seperated by a long ledge and covered with curtains so there was no views, no balcony, no contact with the outside world (pretty important for people trying to get located at the beach side). The room was as pricey as the others, so for some reason we got the worst for the price as if we got the best.

Regarding the staff, they were very nice and to be honest I feel bad to say bad stuff about the room because of the staff - but at the same time people should know that the nice rooms presented in the hotel review are not guaranteed and you might also end up in a place that we did.

Regarding the restaurant, food is clearly frozen-microwaved. Even though me and my friend got different dishes (he ordered carbonara, I spaghetti bolognese) we both got sick at the same time and bathroom bound for a while. After that we opted for delivery food. Which is also a shame cuz it was my first time in Italy and I wanted to try out some genuine Italian quisine.

The breakfast however was good and made of fresh products so the breakfast service is 10/10. Nothing bad there.

To sum it up, this hotel has potential but it should either renovate all rooms to offer the same standards or be more transparent regarding their conditions and be clear what kind of room the client should receive AND fix their restaurant service to be fresh and not reheated. The menu is way too big, so I understand it's hard to keep up with cooking everything, I would perhaps suggest making smaller menu and preparing everything fresh.

I wish I could give better review for the staff's sake (smiling, kind, cheerful and cleaning the rooms every day in our absence), but it is what it is. Either way I wish this Hotel the best.
