Hotel San Gallo in Venice

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel San Gallo. The hotel is absolutely charming, with comfortable, cozy rooms that made us feel right at home after long days of exploring Venice.

The staff was especially helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. They were incredibly hospitable and truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.

The location is perfect, especially for a first-time visit to Venice. It made getting around easy and allowed us to fully enjoy the magic of the city. We would happily stay here again!

I’ll definitely return to this beautiful quaint hotel. It’s all the little touches that really set this hotel apart from the rest. The location is perfect - you’ll be central to everything you would want to experience in Venice. The room I stayed in was compact but was very comfortable. It was also impeccably clean, smelled lovely and fresh and the staff were all so friendly and efficient.

First of all, the communication with the hotel through Booking was PERFECT. They gave me all the support I needed to assist my clients and made their stay truly memorable.

I was especially impressed to receive a message from Vito saying, “They arrived safely and already seem comfortable and happy. Don’t worry, they will be very well taken care of here!” Is there anything better than that? Planning a trip with care and dedication and having a hotel that contributes 100% to making everything run perfectly? Certainly not!

The location is unbeatable: just a two-minute walk from Piazza San Marco, surrounded by restaurants, shops, cafés, bakeries, pizzerias gelato shops etc
It is immaculately clean and cozy, with great rooms, an excellent breakfast, a wonderful atmosphere and outstanding amenities.

One of the highlights is the service! The staff, Vito, Valeria and the entire team are truly wonderful. This hotel represents genuine hospitality! Their support in every detail made a huge difference. My clients genuinely loved every moment, absolutely impeccable in every way.

Thank you all for making my clients’ stay so special. I will definitely be sending my clients always (you will be receiving more in May 🤩). From now on, whenever I have clients traveling to Venice, this will be the only hotel I book for them. And soon, I hope to experience it myself as well!

Very cute hotel with a lovely Venetian decor. It was quiet so I slept well and the staff were nice. It's very well located and you have extras like toiletries, slippers and a robe in the room as well as complimentary treats and water. The staff figured out it was my birthday and left a cake with a candle and note in my room while I was out. This was so sweet! Thank you 😊

The staff was very helpful and kind. Special thanks to Vito for the warm welcome. He was very understanding and gave important advice about the city. The room was pretty comfortamble and a little surprise for the kids made us very happy. The location of the hotel is also very good, as it is very close to San Marco.

It's a cozy hotel with an amazing location right next to the San Marco Square and the port. Great for walking around especially at night when there are fewer tourists. The room is small but clean and has everything. Staff members are very friendly and give great recommendations for the city.

The great host Vito at the front desk was exceptionally helpful and interesting. Pointed out multiple recommendations, from restaurant's to bakery's, points of interest, church's, landmarks, great views, cafe's etc... Room was nice as well, full mini bar and window for fresh Venice air. As well as in a great spot only a 3 minute walk to San Marco Square as well as other destinations, shopping and night life.

A totally delightful hotel and just a couple of minutes work from San Marco and some very chichi shopping.
The only reason I give the room four stars is because it was a little small - but it was so charming with its brocade clad walls, antique furniture and Murano wall lights that it made up for what it lacked in size with an evocative sense of old Venice.
The staff were all very helpful and kind going above and beyond which soothed my stress at British Airways losing my luggage. The complimentary toiletries including toothbrush also helped smooth things for me.
Definitely recommend.

It was our honeymoon and they had a bottle of bubbly and some goodies waiting for us as well as very plush bathrobes. The person who greeted us was super nice, she helped with our big luggage despite being small in size herself! Our stay was great and the location was very convenient.
