Inexpensive accomodations in Venice

It's quite close to the station, but if you have a large suitcase, you'll have to go over a large bridge with only stairs, which might be a bit tiring

The hotel is tucked away in an alley, and we almost missed it when we were looking for it. Although it's an older hotel, it's clean and tidy

I don't think that you can beat this place in Venice. The only disadvantage is that is a little bit far from Piazza Roma so you need to walk with the luggage for 10 minutes but everything else is just great

There is a thin line between running down and old charm feature. This property is more on the latter. Very convenient location though which allowed us to walk around until late

The only real downsides were the noise — you can hear quite a lot from other rooms — and the very small shower. It would also be nice to have a kettle in the room for tea or coffee

A very charming, traditional Venetian hotel — classic in style and full of character. It’s not new, but the old-fashioned look actually adds to the atmosphere and feels authentic

The elevator was quite charming, and the environment was excellent, right next to the train station. You can store your luggage and borrow utensils, and the service is fantastic

Great location, tasty breakfast (recommend taking one over there), clean room. Unfortunately the room we had was near the street and it was quite noisy. Also, the bathroom could be a little bit nicer

Very near to the station, but the elevator was small and slow. However, the front desks were kind & friendly.

I didn’t get to try the included breakfast since I had to leave early for my packed itinerary. However, the elevator doesn’t reach the top floor where our room was, so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs

The lady at the front desk was very welcoming; she gave us a detailed overview of the hotel's facilities and answered all our questions. It's about a 30-minute walk to the main square

This hidden little gem is perfect!! It's off the main road and tucked into a cozy little street only 3 blocks from the train station

The hotel's location itself is excellent. It offers great facilities for the price, but there were a lot of ants in the room. They seemed to be coming from the shower, and I found them on the bed as well.

Theres no elevator but I dont mind they put me in the second floor , first door to the right , nice carpeted hallway so you dont hear people talking …. nice room, nice bathroom, nice bed… smells good

This hotel was perfect. Location close to station and easy access to main paths. But also super quiet at night. Breakfast was also great and had lots of options. Will stay here again for sure.

Claudia has been so nice as we missed our first night during our trip to Venice she gave us voucher refund for our non-refundable booking!! Not to mention how clean was the room and spacious

Both the toilets are kept very clean and kitchen is very nicely equipped to cook and enjoy! Just you have to pay 4€ compulsory city tax per person as per Venice rules and regulations

Beautiful friendly affordable place to stay about 5 minutes walk from St Marks Square. The most homely hostel I have stayed in anywhere in the world.

However, they face the busy street, so expect some noise. The WiFi is okay, but nothing fancy. For the price this is all good. The only downside we had is that there are only single beds with flimsy light frames

Hostel we booked through Airbnb. The location is really great and actually not so hard to find. The host is nice and keeps the place clean, well maintained and the kitchen well equiped

The food was warmly delivered, nicely packed and most importantly tasted great! That also gave us supplementary freshly baked bread to our order. The prices are extremely low, the average price was around 7€

The Colours is a local restaurant where we stopped for lunch. We had a delicious pizza and a tasty, classic pasta. The place has a warm, family atmosphere, with attentive service at every table

Good native Italian restaurant. Price is fair and good and free parking option on the opposite side. Friendly service, open Kitchen, people are very attentive. Small restaurant and bit loud to have a business meeting

We have been visiting this place for years every time we visit Venice. Very friendly and nice service. Delicious food. Fresh seafood. Very large portions. Local place. I will definitely repeat! I recommend!

Authentic cuisine, exceptional pizza and tiramisu, affordable pricing and above all- great stuff. The place felt homely and we're happy we stumbled upon it (it's 15 minutes by foot from Camping Venezia Village)

You will find workers and locals eating there during week days, among guests. Food has a very good price-quality ratio. Got very nice and tender meat. Don’t recommend the grilled shrimps

The location is close to the Venezia mestre station, 100m walk from the hostel and you are approaching the bus station to Venezia main island. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful

It is located a few minutes walk from the Mestre train station, with easy options to go into Venice. The reseption was nice and informative. There is a shared bath room for 4 rooms, which was not a problem at all

The room was nice and of good size. There was a faint smell in the room, and we did not find a good way to change the termostat of the heater (February)

As expected for a two star hotel. Five stars for Ena at the reception. She was so warm and welcoming, gave us all the info we need as it was our first time in Venice

Bus stops are within a few minutes including a tobacco store to buy your unlimited pass

The hotel staff is very cooperative and supportive. The rooms, beds and other facilities are clean. The only problem is that hot water in the bathroom comes after you leave the tap running for 5 - 10 mins

If you're planning a trip to the historic, floating part of venice, it's a great place to stay: the train station is less than a 5 minute walk away, and costs €1. Lucia station (on the main island)

It does not expect any luxury, but it is suitable for a modest overnight stay. An excellent starting point for Venice. Free parking right next to the hotel is also an advantage

However, when I was charging my power bank in the public area within my room, it was stolen and hasn't been back so the costumers may need to pay attention to the safety and their personal items when living in the room

First time staying in a hostel and it was a great experience! They provide disposable bedding (sheets, pillowcase, duvet cover). The all-female dorm had two toilets, which was really comfortable

Hello this post is not an opinion, but a request I hope that someone can answer me

Clean and close to Venice but no air conditioning

Positive: Conveniently close (we hauled our luggage) to the Trenitalia station that connects to Trieste (cruise ship port). A variety of small restaurants within walking distance in case you have a late flight arrival

Approx 5mins walking distance from Venezia Mestre train station ; basic amenities; front desk very helpful ; breakfast was value for money; no lift.

Not that we spend much time in the room since we were mostly exploring the Venezia island, but the flat screen TV was only 24” and also could use an update to something with smart app capability and offer casting from a device

While it was reasonably priced and conveniently located near the train station (making it an easy trip by train for 1. 5 euro to Venice Santa Lucia), my wife and daughter felt the property was a bit out dated

Again, the ladies complained that they could not bend down to shave their legs in the tight space and I wonder how a typically overweight American tourist could even use these tight shower spaces

You could feel the springs in the mattress and I think they need to either replace them or at a minimum add a pillow topper to provide more cushion

You can also get beers from the snack bar and it is very cheap in comparison to central Venice. 2 euros for a beer I love contemporary hotels and the concept of this stunning villa but it lacks something

Well where should I start? The hotel itself is amazing and not distant from local shops. Public transport is available right opposite the hotel and will only take approximately half hour to get you to Venice

Clean and modern style in lobby & rooms. The people that run it were very nice. For breakfast,it was brought to our room on a large platter display & delicious. It is in Mestre, 5 star hotel on Hotels

The very hands on receptionist had to help get a few trays out. Continental breakfast was very nice and served on beautiful classy crockery. I am not sure it was Villroy & Boch

You need to buy tickets before you get on the bus either from Plaza de Roma ticket office if in Venice. If at the hotel you can get tickets from reception or the campsite shop/reception 50 yards down the road next door

It was however a very long breakfast as things just came out bit by bit from the kitchen. The hotel is situated directly on a busy road but that did not bother us

Fantastic villa!! Me and my son had a wonderful stay! The pool is absolutely lovely and we took advantage of it a good few times! The room we stayed in was perfect, the fridge was filled every day with snacks

The garden and the pool area were very large and beautiful and quiet. The poll is very large and there are many places to rest

The three rooms in the old wing ground floor are very small for two persons and the bed is also small. We were transferred to the first floor with a much better room. The staff is exceptional friendly

Verry nice room with old furniture. But, in my opinion, this bring charm to the place. When I stay, the room was very clean. Also, very big room! Convinient place to stay if you want to visit Venice!

The breakfast was also provided though it was a bit strange to see that we were served on the table rather choosing the buffet on our own

But the shower had a problem with the water spray and the door was broken so water would leak everywhere in the washroom

HOTEL EDERA , what can I say? All I can say is it is an absolute hidden gem on the Italian Riviera in JESOLO 🇮🇹❤️ The owner Mateo, his professionalism and great attitude, welcoming people on a daily basis whatever is needed is always provided

I have one of the most positive reviews I’ve ever given in my life. We were staying in Verona and took a taxi to Garda Beach and were dropped off around the Natuna hotel

She was so kind and generous and helped us call the taxi company to try to get our bags back that had some identification and money as well as medication

She was so helpful and help put us at ease in such a stressful situation. We’re travelling from Canada and didn’t know if we would get our bags back

A family-run hotel where the owners and staff are truly super friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time with our big dog (a 40kg Labrador). Kudos to the whole family for making every guest feel pampered and spoiled

I selected this hotel because it is close to the airport. Within 10 minutes you can walk to ancient city centre. I had to leave before breakfast hours and the gave me a nice breakfast in my room

I always joke and I am ironic, but the owners are professional yes, but also nice they did everything to please us! I'm sorry I didn't write anything in the Guestbook, but overwhelmed by the sadness of leaving these places and these extraordinary people I forgot

would say that there is no Topper! but the mattress is so comfortable that I'm trying to buy the same one for home! Everything works well, even if we are at the beginning of the season, the dining room is very well furnished with beached "woods"

Also very near is the Botanic Park of Porto Caleri (see photo), which is certainly worth visiting, especially on a cool and breezy day. Free parking is available in front of the hotel and at the back

Only 2 observations: the bunk bed in our room was exactly under the air conditioner, so the youngest of my 3 children slept on the big bed with me and his sister so as not to get the air on him

The hotel's strong points are the friendly attitude of its staff, its excellent restaurant, and its location. We enjoyed the hotel's immediate proximity to the town center and the seaside

Then the menu (in our case in the evening) in my opinion is not suitable for children / teenagers. If I were to return I would not do half board. However nice stay, all very very kind

Very good budget option to stay in Padova. Near the hospital and about 10 minutes walking distance from the city Center. The rooms are very good and clean, with terrace and AC

The rooms were good, bathroom was a little small and the balcony could easily be accessed by anyone. Breakfast was great and the fresh Italian coffee was amazing too.

We had to spend about half a day each day at the hotel working, and the employees brought us cappuccino and cookies to snack on, offered prosecco at the end of the day, parked and unparked our car whenever we wanted to go out, and all was so genuine - we felt like we were dear guests visiting family! On our last day we found a beautifully wrapped bottle of prosecco in our room with a gift card and...

We made reservations at this hotel due to positive reviews although we were nervous about it being only a 2-star hotel. Turns out they're lacking stars because of a smaller lobby and the fact that there's no elevator

Other than that the level of service and coziness was fantastic! The room ("Superior") was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and great little perks like an Illy espresso machine and a completely free minibar (with water, cookies, fruit, etc

The breakfast had great variety and everything was fresh and delicious, from yogurts to eggs made to order. The wi-fi was fast and dependable. But the real gem of the hotel are the people that work there

Very helpful and friendly team. Great location but be careful not to drive past the entrance , the one way streets are complicated in a car. The entrance to the hotel is just a door so it is hard to see

Loved this hotel when i went there with my football group years ago. The owner Luca is realy nice and the place has great atmosphere. Koips for ever! And i hope to visit this place again someday.

A little dated, it needs to be renovated in the rooms, especially the bathrooms (ours had a shower in front of the toilet with a curtain. so it got wet all over, a real shame)

The strong point is a nice swimming pool and a nice outdoor terrace for the restaurant (where you can eat really well). The owners and employees are always available

Perhaps there should be a little something more breakfast, lunch / dinner in the average with always varied menu and with more proposals (they also make pizza)

Hotel located in the center of Eraclea close to all commercial activities (if you are looking for silence it is not the best)

The hotel provides free parasols and sun loungers on the beach and the use of bicycles
