When I booked, I confirmed the number of guests, gender, and age, but they provided all male yukatas with two pairs of women's slippers! Dinner service was very slow, so much so that I had to rush them.

The hotel's breakfast and dinner were delicious, the service was great, and the environment was clean. It also has a private family hot spring.

This was my second visit since 2017, and it was just as wonderful! It was a hot spring trip with my mom, and everything was excellent from the start. We stayed in the annex, and they moved our luggage for both check-in and check-out, which was incredibly convenient. What really stood out was how they carried our heavy suitcases instead of just dragging them. The main bathhouse was fantastic, of course, and we were lucky enough to use the private family bath three times. We only had to wait once, and the other two times we got right in! My mom absolutely loved it and said we have to come back again. The staff were truly exceptionally kind. Thank you so much~^^

Plenty of parking available, and the staff were incredibly attentive. A soak in the hot spring each night ensured a wonderful sleep. The hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the surroundings are quiet, elegant, and peaceful, truly allowing for a relaxing holiday.

This hotel offers truly thoughtful and attentive service, from check-in to check-out. The dining is exceptional, with fresh ingredients and exquisitely prepared dishes that are a delight to the palate. The rooms are clean, bright, and impeccably arranged, providing a comfortable and relaxing stay. Plus, with both indoor and outdoor hot springs, featuring clean, temperature-controlled pools, it's the perfect place to unwind and enjoy some leisurely relaxation.

It was a bit of a walk from the station, and finding the entrance was a little tricky, but the staff took a group photo with us during check-in and were very friendly, so it felt like a good start! As expected, the hot springs were wonderful, and the view was so beautiful. We could also use the private bath almost whenever we wanted without it being too crowded. The yukatas were so pretty that taking photos together in them will be a lasting memory. The food, though… it was just okay, nothing special. I don't think I'd particularly crave kaiseki again. Overall, it was a great memory from Yufuin!

We reserved a room with private bath and half board. The package is a bit pricey for us but we think it’s worth the money! The private onsen is very nice, with both indoor and outdoor pools. The dinner & breakfast are fairly good. The service staff speaks English and made our communication easy. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay❤️

I rented a car, so it was great to be close to the main street. On the first day, I walked out, and it took about 20 minutes.

This was my third hot spring trip, and each time I've chosen places with private baths in the room. It was so cold that the temperature of the outdoor bath dropped a bit, so even after getting out, it was chilly. However, there was also a bath inside, which we used well.

Only two large bath towels were provided per night. If you wanted more, you had to pay a rental fee of 110 yen per towel. There were no other regular-sized towels, so if you wanted to use the bath multiple times, you had to dry and reuse the same towels, which was a bit inconvenient.

If you want to take pretty photos in the bath, you need to wrap yourself in a towel, which means you definitely have to rent one. I've traveled frequently both domestically and internationally, but this is the first time I've had to pay extra for towels, which left a bad taste in my mouth.

Breakfast and dinner were just okay. The staff were friendly, but the food wasn't great. It wasn't that it tasted bad, but rather that it wasn't particularly delicious or memorable.

Please note there's no shuttle service. Still, it was meaningful to be able to enjoy a hot spring in the snow.

I visited with my parents. We found out about this place through recommendations from friends and rented a car from Fukuoka Airport to get there. It was late at night when we arrived, and the sun had already set, so we struggled a bit with navigation (due to a GPS issue). However, the room condition was excellent, and everyone was satisfied with both the cypress wood tub inside the room and the outdoor open-air bath. Surrounded by mountains on all sides, the air was, of course, wonderful. The whole village was quiet, and the weather was pleasantly chilly, making it perfect for enjoying the hot springs.

The morning and evening kaiseki meals were served by very friendly staff in private spaces for each room, allowing my family and me to enjoy a pleasant and comfortable dining experience. I also felt that the surrounding walking paths were well-maintained, and I would love to visit again someday. The scenery around dawn is something I'll never forget.
