The staff service attitude is very good; although I did not book dinner, and do not want to drive down the mountain, in the end the restaurant can arrange a fried pork chop rice for us, really delicious 😋 still in a comfortable separate room to enjoy 👍. The only thing to be picky about is whether there are street lights when it's too inconvenient to go up the hill.

I highly recommend this onsen ryokan! Among traditional Japanese hot spring hotels, its facilities are quite new. The garden environment is beautiful and the service is superb! I visited this ryokan with high expectations, given its rich history and tradition, and I'm so glad to say it met them all. I made some wonderful memories here. While the cleanliness was a slight concern due to the nature of tatami flooring, I was completely satisfied with everything else, from the service and meals to the hot springs!

It was quiet and peaceful, and all the staff were foreigners, but they were polite and kind. The food was both delicious and presented well. However, the rooms were dark and the stairs were steep, so I think it might be difficult for elderly people.
