got its own ski resort, very convenient. no need for car rental.

Very good location, convenient pick up bus services to the shopping mall and skiing areas! Room have a very good view and clean, comfortable environment for the stay!

The cabin felt like being in a forest, perfect for a summer trip. However, the facilities are a bit dated, making the experience less comfortable. I should have booked a room in the main building. That would have made accessing the hot springs and gym much more convenient.

there is a great experience to line in Hotel West, Prince Resort, especially, the Hot Spring where is clean and is easy to make customers relax.

This was my first time in Karuizawa, and I picked this hotel blindly, but it turned out to be even better than I expected. The hotel is right next to the outlets, making shopping, getting around, and dining all super convenient. The room decor was also very cozy.

Unexpectedly close to both the outlet mall and the JR station, it's within walking distance. The hotel is quite large, and the rooms are spacious too, with both indoor and outdoor hot spring baths. It's a great place for couples and families with kids to stay.

The room is quite spacious with a great design, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. The lobby is grand with stunning floor-to-ceiling window views. There are shuttle services to the hot springs and outlet mall nearby, but the most convenient thing is the train station! 👍

I brought my own snowboard to Karuizawa. It's a 70-minute Shinkansen ride from Tokyo Station to JR Karuizawa Station. The Shinkansen luggage racks have straps to secure snowboards. After exiting the station, head to the hotel service center (open until 7 PM) located on the far right of the 7/11 convenience store at the South Exit (Pic 7). Facilities: Although old, everything is in working order. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Environment: Very pleasant, you could spend days here without even leaving the hotel. Service: The hotel offers a shuttle bus, and if you miss it, the staff will even arrange a business car for you, which is very convenient.

We had a wonderful stay at the Mampei Hotel. The hotel is beautifully designed inside and out, the staff are fantastic, and the meals we had for breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner were all delicious, as were drinks at the iconic hotel bar. Highly recommended and we will definitely stay again.

I stay at this hotel every year. It has a traditional, old-world feel, with a quiet, private atmosphere. The hotel restaurant serves French cuisine, but reservations are required. There are two hot springs, both with their own unique charm.

There maybe BED BUGS, My back was pinched several times during the stay.

Last year I stayed at the Hotel & Resort and it was great, so this year I chose the Kyu-Karuizawa location for its convenience. The location is great, and the activities are well-organized. The shuttle service to various attractions is super convenient. However, the room layout is quite odd; my husband hit his head on the beam at least 5 times...

You can take the resort bus to Hoshinoya; the food and prices at the village canteen are quite good. From the JR station to the hotel, you can only take a taxi.

The room was great. The Stone Church is right behind the hotel, and Yulin Town is next door. There are also restaurants and hot springs nearby. It's fantastic!

The hotel was surprisingly nice. There's a church nearby, and a shuttle bus to the cafeteria. However, the cafeteria food was really bad. The Karuizawa area is somewhat similar to Aranya. Also, you'll need to take a taxi frequently. It's suitable for a vacation, but don't have high expectations for the food.

Superb! Very convenient for getting to Hoshino Onsen, with a shuttle bus. The bunk beds were fun, and the kids had a blast. The room had two separate spaces, which was great 👍. There were also two washing machines and two dryers, so we could do laundry every day.

The hotel has a nice, quiet environment and offers plenty of self-service options, making it more suitable for young people than families.

We loved our stay here. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, and the room was beautiful. The entire hotel maintains a sort of romantic vintage feeling but has completely updated bathrooms and every sort of modern amenity one could need. I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Karuizawa.

Very quiet and near a beautiful nature stream

We stayed here for just one night, earlier in the summer. The hotel itself is not new but immaculately maintained and the rooms are decorated in a simple but very tasteful manner. We had the best sleep ever on those beds. Absolute heaven. And, the prix-fixe dinners and the breakfast (selection of Japanese, American, or continental with fresh salad) are a can’t-miss. Would love to return.

Nice hotel in a quiet location Really enjoyed the experience at the hotel: located in an exclusive area. The staffs are very attentive. The breakfast is amazing and the service is top notch. It is near Kumoba pond. The scenery is mesmerizing.
