At first I really couldn't find the main door. I thought I had to take the stairs to carry my luggage up, but I ended up taking the elevator from the hot spring area to the second floor and walking through the overpass to the main building to check in! The environment is very beautiful and the soup is also good!

The place overall it's quite good, especially with the food and shinkansen package. My biggest complaint are the beds which are terrible, uncomfortable, and really messed up my back. Everything else could be awesome but at the end of the day it's a hotel and if the beds are terrible it loses out on a couple stars.

They kindly upgraded our room on the day of arrival! The location was super convenient for getting anywhere, and my boyfriend and I really enjoyed the private bath, which had flexible hours. There was coffee and tea available at the front desk, which we took with us when checking out. It's a really great hotel!

Be careful that the actual room is not the same as trip shown. Everything is good but the room wasn’t my expected. Finally trip.com refunded me a certain amount, fair enough. Look at my photos, if you accept such a room paying this price, go for head, with free-spa, no complain. Just because it wasn’t what I wanted😂😂

Very good service with varies welcome drinks make you relax upon arrive hotel but not rush to your hotel room. Location is right in the middle of old karuizawa is so convenient. Dinner is acceptable which i tried the lowest and highest price. Worth to try!

Nice hotel provided yummy breakfast and amazing happy hour for free drinks and snacks. The provides different bath salt that helped me have a relax bathing time while stay. I would suggest to have a full light block curtain to improve my sleep.

It's alright. There was no extra charge for bringing children. The only downside is that there's pick-up and drop-off at the old Karuzu Station, which only runs twice a day, and only once a day in the morning. Driving is the best option.
