At first I really couldn't find the main door. I thought I had to take the stairs to carry my luggage up, but I ended up taking the elevator from the hot spring area to the second floor and walking through the overpass to the main building to check in! The environment is very beautiful and the soup is also good!

The place overall it's quite good, especially with the food and shinkansen package. My biggest complaint are the beds which are terrible, uncomfortable, and really messed up my back. Everything else could be awesome but at the end of the day it's a hotel and if the beds are terrible it loses out on a couple stars.

Great Hotel with lots of amenities for kids and adults. There are 3 different restaurants that you can choose , Japanese style , Foreign style and an open buffet. Nearbybthere is a very big Kids entertainment park with animals and toys. Restaurants starts from 8 pm and you can enjoy the hot springs( inside the hotel). before the Restaurant.

The cabin felt like being in a forest, perfect for a summer trip. However, the facilities are a bit dated, making the experience less comfortable. I should have booked a room in the main building. That would have made accessing the hot springs and gym much more convenient.

Despite being a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum member, I was disappointed to find that lounge access and breakfast were both chargeable. I was told that such services are not included with bookings made through Trip.com. Had I known this beforehand, I wouldn't have booked, making this a truly disappointing trip.

We stayed here for just one night, earlier in the summer. The hotel itself is not new but immaculately maintained and the rooms are decorated in a simple but very tasteful manner. We had the best sleep ever on those beds. Absolute heaven. And, the prix-fixe dinners and the breakfast (selection of Japanese, American, or continental with fresh salad) are a can’t-miss. This hotel is a quiet, tastefully decorated old villa. We stayed here and took the hotel's shuttle for skiing and shopping in the mornings. The arrangements were very well-organized. Be careful that the actual room is not the same as trip shown. Everything is good but the room wasn’t my expected. Finally trip.com refunded me a certain amount, fair enough.
