I’d recommend this location if you wish to experience traditional lodgings, in a quiet area with easy access to a lot of stuff. In the immediate area is the Nishi Chaya Tea district (restaurants, cafes, and a small Ninja Weapons museum that’s worth checking out) and the Kutani Kosen Kiln (recommend taking a pottery class there!). I was worried about noise since it’s on a main road, but the rooms are actually very quiet. We had the breakfast package, which consisted of two pastries (selection varied day by day), a yogurt, two fruits, coffee, and a water bottle. It is a short walk across the bridge north to get to more restaurants and shops.

New structure, fully automated but the Japanese style rooms make the experience authentic but with some extra comfort. A few stops from Kanazawa station, 15 min by bus. Convenient location to reach the center.

Although it is an old house that has been renovated, the bath, washroom, and shared kitchen are modern and simple yet stylish. Security is also good, so I was able to stay there safely. Nishichaya District is nearby, so I enjoyed the atmosphere in the mornings and evenings. I would like to stay here again.

Lovely modern facilities. Excellent check in process. Our room accommodates 5 of us. There is a heat pump. There is a shoji when slid open looks our into a lovely garden. The shower is superb. There are many little touches that make this place special. Very convenient, short walk to Nishi Chaya district. Walk across the bridge and you are in the Katamachi district with plenty of restaurants and shopping malls. Price .... Unbeatable considering how much we paid to stay in Tokyo.

Had a great time with my friends there. A great mix of modern and traditional.
It’s right next to a bus stop which brings you to the centre of town, but it’s quite the walk if you wish to not take it.
No staff was present when we arrived, the check-in was done via video on a screen with someone that didn’t speak English quite well. This made the process quite complicated, however we managed.
Despite this, the place itself is really worth it.
Would recommend for those looking for a place to stay as a group !

Great place to stay!
Beautiful and comfortable rooms.
Although it seems far from the center, it is very comfortable and does not cause any inconvenience. There are buses on the corner and it is also possible to walk to the more touristy area.
Our only criticism is the breakfast, perhaps they could elaborate it a little more.

Really lovely, the rooms were incredible and the host super sweet. Breakfast time is freely choosable and incredibly well assorted.

Unusual place with definite youth hostel vibes, not quite what 2 oldies were expecting. However the beds were comfortable and the place spotless. The only people we saw were cleaners. Any problems were dealt with by email including luggage forwarding and calling a taxi.
