Stayed at Henn na Hotel Kanazawa Korinbo. The breakfast spread was good, and the hotel itself is quite unique, especially the T-rex robot at reception, which was a fun touch. The location is very strategic and convenient for getting around. The only downside is that there’s no hotel parking available.

Stayed here the second time, this time with breakfast included. The breakfast choices were the same every day, with no dish rotation, which is kind of boring if you stay there more than a couple of days. From the outside the hotel does not look like much. The rooms are small and a little run down but clean. The staff is friendly and the breakfast buffet (mostly Japanese food) is really nice. Sights are in walking distance. The hotel itself can be reached by bus from Kanazawa Station.

Although it was old, the room had a nice atmosphere and was very relaxing. The tatami room was spacious and comfortable. I ordered breakfast as an extra, but I wish I had chosen a plan that included it from the start. The hotel is basic. Clean but the beds and pillows are hard so to me was uncomfortable. The man at the front is the rudest Japanese person I have encountered in my three weeks here.
