Kanazawa, Horikawa Shinmachi 2-20 (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel is right next to the Kanazawa train station, 2 minutes walk to the bus station, train station, and major department stores. It is very convenient to take a JR West one-day trip to Gassho Village, Shirakawa Township, Takayama Hida. Breakfast is served in the restaurant attached to the hotel. The dishes are very rich and highly recommended.
It's very close to Kanazawa Station. It's a 5-minute walk from the East Exit. There is a large shopping mall opposite the store. The breakfast in the store is generally simple and delicious. The room is a bit old and the lights are dark. The store is a 2-minute walk from the bus terminal to Shirakawa Township, Takayama, and Kanazawa district cruise buses to Omi Taden Market, Kenrokuen Garden, Kanazawa...
Room was very clean. Very close to the mall and central bus station. Staff was very helpful.
Great location right next to the station. Room was very spacious and had everything you need, including a great desk. Staff were friendly.
The room is spacious, clean, with breakfast service, not far from Kanazawa JR station, bus station, and large shopping malls. There are most of the tax free shops in the shopping mall. You can eat well, buy well, and the transportation is very convenient. After checking out, free luggage storage service is provided on the day, and then go to the nearby Echo market to eat a Noto steak meal, eat an Echizen...
The hotel is close to Kanazawa Station, and the transportation is convenient. I chose a smoking room. Although it has a taste, it is acceptable! This room has a coin-operated washing machine, and the breakfast is also good. If I go to Kanazawa again, I will stay here again.

Kanazawa, 1-2-32 Korinbo (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The breakfast was delicious, the room was clean, and the location was very convenient.
Cool dinosaur, got kids amenities . Nearby parking available . Location near garden and Lawson
Funny front desk, was a really unique hotel. Super convenient location, close to everything.
Stayed at Henn na Hotel Kanazawa Korinbo. The breakfast spread was good, and the hotel itself is quite unique, especially the T-rex robot at reception, which was a fun touch. The location is very strategic and convenient for getting around. The only downside is that there’s no hotel parking available.
Stayed here the second time, this time with breakfast included. The breakfast choices were the same every day, with no dish rotation, which is kind of boring if you stay there more than a couple of days. The room size is bigger than in the hotels of this price level. Nice view from us paper floors.
Excellent location for visiting Kanazawa's best attractions. Very clean room and amenities. Excellent hotel.

Location is convenient. Front desk staff are helpful & friendly. Mr Yagi-San is especially professional and helpful! He has even helped us to book our bus tickets with very detailed details and instructions.
Hotel buffet breakfast has limited choices of food but quality is ok. Overall, we are very happy with this hotel.
The hotel room was clean and very close to Omicho Market, just a 5-minute walk away.
Surprised by the great services, facilities and amenities available. Great value on top of good location and size of room for family 👍👍👍
Very good services and location
Room is small but okay if you don't have much luggage
Good location, quiet & excellent breakfast.
Excellent customer service, front desk staff were super helpful with luggage forwarding. The central heating was great, never felt cold. It was -3 to 5 degrees outside at night when I was there. Mattress is on the softer side, but I like firm mattresses so not an issue for most people. Coffee machine on lobby

Kanazawa, 2-4-22 Nomachi (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The staff were friendly and the facilities were nice. I'll definitely come back again if I get the chance.
This is one of several APA Hotels around Kanazawa. Located at the quieter side of town in Nomachi, yet within 15 minutes walking distance to centre of Kata-machi, where all the happenings take place. The single room is small yet ample and clean. Comes with a big led TV, free WiFi, clean bathroom, mini fridge and complimentary coffee and tea and kettle in the room. There are dispensing machines for...
From the outside the hotel does not look like much. The rooms are small and a little run down but clean. The staff is friendly and the breakfast buffet (mostly Japanese food) is really nice. Sights are in walking distance. The hotel itself can be reached by bus from Kanazawa Station.

Kanazawa, 8 Onuka-machi (9 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Although it was old, the room had a nice atmosphere and was very relaxing.
The tatami room was spacious and comfortable.
I ordered breakfast as an extra, but I wish I had chosen a plan that included it from the start.
I was happy that there were menu items such as Kanazawa ochazuke and other dishes made with local ingredients.
It was a corner room with a great view.
I wish there were juice vending machines on each floor.
The hotel itself is old, but the room was relatively clean.
I was concerned about the mold and dirt in the bathroom, but
I guess it's understandable considering the hotel's age.
I was disappointed that the lighting in the room was dim, and when I opened the curtains to see the view, the window was covered in spider webs. I also didn't have a laundry room.
There was an ice machine on the fifth floor...
It had been renovated and looked nice.
The room was by no means what I would call clean.
Maybe it's because I'm a bit of a clean freak, but as it's an old-fashioned hotel, it might be okay if you're just staying there.
However, the staff were polite and pleasant.
The room was spacious and the bed was king size, which was nice.
There were only three lamps in the room, which made it feel different from usual. It felt like an old-fashioned room.
The air conditioner and TV were not remote controlled, and the lights in the room were not LED.
I'd rate this a 4-star hotel for a budget-friendly trip.

The room was also clean and comfortable!
The accommodation was cheap and the room was spacious.
During my recent trip to Kanazawa, Higashichaya, Kenrokuen Garden, the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, and Ishiura Shrine were all within walking distance from this hotel, making it extremely convenient!
Kanazawa Station is about a 5-minute drive away if traffic isn't heavy, but since I arrived around 6 PM, there was a traffic jam, but I was still able to park in the parking lot at the station...
The room wasn't large but it was clean and the bed was comfortable.
The front desk asked my name right away and I got in smoothly. By the way, this hotel is usually quite expensive, so I was able to stay here for about half the price. Parking was 1,000 yen. Kanazawa Castle is right in front of the hotel, and Omicho is only a 10-minute walk away. I recommend it. Be careful as the price fluctuates. Also, other hotels without breakfast usually cost about 12,000 yen, and...
The car park has both flat and multi-storey parking, and can accommodate a large number of cars, which was very convenient for me as I had to go in and out of the car many times depending on the need.
The park is located on the north side across the road from Kanazawa Castle, so for my morning jog, I crossed the road and entered the castle from the north entrance, passed through the castle and crossed...

The hotel was clean and tidy, with excellent service and a rich breakfast. We were lucky enough to enjoy the snow scenery, which was lovely. The location is superb, conveniently close to both shopping malls and the train station. It offers great value for money and I highly recommend staying here.
Comfortable with sufficient space.
Highly appreciate POLA amenities including face lotion and cream.
Very nice breakfast with great variety (western and Japanese style) including ice-cream and kids corner.
It was a very clean, nice hotel with plenty of amenities and good service. If only the bath was a little bigger, I'd have no complaints.
I'd like to go again.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. There are many facilities including laundry room, lounge area (with tea and coffee provided), massage chairs and public spa bath; all of which do not require extra charges). The breakfast was delicious and had many food varieties to choose from.

There are many free shuttle buses to Kanazawa Station, which was very convenient for dinner. The room was clean, there was parking, and it had a very calm atmosphere even though it was in the city.
Before my trip, I tossed and turned between several well-rated hotels. My biggest concern was that they seemed a bit far from Kanazawa Station and were practically on the other side of the main attractions. But ultimately, I settled on Sai no Niwa, thanks to its high ratings on various websites and no negative reviews. Looking back now, from inquiring about the shuttle bus and receiving the hotel's...

It is within walking distance of Kanazawa Station, Kanazawa Castle, and Higashi Chaya District. You can drink as much Kaga Bancha tea as you like, and you can eat soba noodles for free in the evening. The room was very clean and comfortable.
The hotel reception and waitstaff were very friendly and spoke excellent English. The room was very clean, with a simple yet stylish design. In the evenings, you could enjoy soba noodles in the lobby and even order a sake set to chill with friends. I even asked the front desk if I could bring my own snacks to enjoy with the free drinks. It was a very comfortable space. If you're staying for a day or...
The bathtub has a hydro-massage function, which is very nice. The hotel offers complimentary pasta dishes in the evenings.
If it had an onsen it would be the perfect hotel.
I had a very comfortable stay.
The service from the front desk was also very good.
It's an elegant and well-designed accommodation. Omi Market, Kanazawa Castle Park, and Kenrokuen Garden are all within walking distance. However, it takes four bus stops from Kanazawa Station to get to the hotel, so I took a taxi instead because I had luggage. The fare was about 1000 yen. It's very conveniently located near the station. It's clean, but a little old and dark. It has a nice retro feel. The bathtub in the room is currently out of service. Great location from the station.
It's cheap to stay without meals, so it's good to be close to the station.
This hotel is very close to Kanazawa Station, a 3-5 minute walk. I booked a single room and arrived at the hotel around 10:00 in the morning. The receptionist was an elderly lady who only spoke Japanese but was very polite. She probably saw that I arrived early, so she immediately gave me a room and said I could check in. First, Kanazawa is AMAZING and wonderful and beautiful, and we loved it more than any other city on our two-week visit to Japan. Part of the reason we loved it so much is the wonderful hospitality we enjoyed at the Kaname Inn. Upon check-in, my boyfriend realized he left his phone in the taxi cab. Within minutes, the reservation clerk (Haruka) had called the taxi company and arranged to meet the...
After an exhausting trip around the Tokyo to Nagano to Kanazawa, I was soooo ready for a nice but affordable place to rest my head. So glad I found this place on a friend's recommendation. The whole construction is calming with lots of wood accents, a totally groovy music bar (a lot of jazz), and really nice clean and quiet rooms. I got the chance to meet the owner so said building this little boutique...
Brilliant reception took time to advise the local landmarks and shortcuts nearby. Very soulful bar playing cool jazz to soul music. Hotel in a good location. Quiet and clean but very close to attractions and amenities.
New looking facility in a cool shopping street. Audio lounge downstairs was awesome, staff spoke English far better than expected. Very nice stay.
Great little boutique hotel located at a walking distance to pretty much everything in the beautiful city of Kanazawa. The room was clean and great value, and the downstairs music bar was a great place to chill out after a day walking around the city.
The hotel is located inside a shopping alley. As such, it is quiet at night which we like. The staff at the counter is welcoming and friendly. What I like most is the bar right below the hotel. It is a very special bar that the DJ plays nice music with old school disc. The sound is good as the speakers are good. You may consider staying here. Highly recommended.

Excellent location, quality hotel. Great, savory breakfast. The staff was the highlight of our stay. Very attentive and helpful.
It was alright. I booked it for someone else. The hotel was quite nice, and the breakfast was okay. An American checked in, and maybe there wasn't a smooth communication with me, so they just gave a good review without providing a detailed experience or description.
The hotel is basic. Clean but the beds and pillows are hard so to me was uncomfortable. The man at the front is the rudest Japanese person I have encountered in my three weeks here. He talked to us as if we were children. Great location, the restaurant crew is very nice, but if you want to eat breakfast there, you have to let them know the night before. I won’t be coming back to this hotel.

Very close to tourist attractions eg garden / castle, I guess 15min walk from train station, Japanese breakfast was really good there, they also provide a traditional Japanese dinner - you need to pre book this in I think 5 days in advance? Extremely kind and attentive staff are what account for a higher rating than I would have otherwise given. However, having stayed the previous two nights in other ryokans, by comparison the room was quite small and though clean, a bit dingy and outdated. The meals were abundant, to say the least, but some of the seafood was of questionable freshness and there was a lot of jellied items or things with...

I have zero complaints! The staff were amazing, the property and area it's in were beautiful, and overall it really made our stay in Kanazawa special. I highly recommend this place. Just be warned that if you have any mobility issues, the stairs going upstairs are very steep.
Such an incredible stay. Very comfortable and spacious, and the location could not be more amazing. Highly recommend. One note: the stairs in the house are very steep and might be a challenge for older guests and young children.

My husband and I are really enjoying our 3-night stay here. The room is large and well laid out, the staff have been very helpful, we liked the free sake tasting and beers (online booking special), the community bath, and massages at the spa. We like the location, walking distance from several of the main sites. We'll definitely be back!
The Staff was very friendly, you get free drinks and the Washing mashines work perfectly.
But you dont get any utensils in your room like q-tips, water, papertowels. You can ask the staff for it and get it for free, but Till now every hotel provided it except them. They also have 2 vending machines for drinks and the breakfast buffet was the best we had in our Trip.
