Bandai Silver Hotel in Niigata

A trainee behind the counter spoke English and helped me tremendously. Sites were saying the hotel had availability, but when I tried to book it was full. The manager "chief" gave me a room. He provides exemplary service. In fact, in a land that provides top notch service, this hotel set the bar higher. The foyer is classy and elegant. I like to sight-see, but if I had to hang out at the hotel I would have been just fine with that. The only reason the hotel didn't clean sweep with 5 stars was the bed was hard. Was I sleeping on a mattress or a box spring? I slept good though. Premium shopping is all around. Great hotel!

This hotel is excellent! The service is great, and it's excellent value for money. Although the rooms are a bit small, I still highly recommend it. Mr. Hasegawa at the front desk was a huge help and very enthusiastic. Definitely a five-star rating for this hotel! The location is also very good.

It was a little dated and tired, but it had the feel of a classic hotel.

The aircon only had one setting, heat and it made it to be really stuffy in the room.

We used it for a banquet with overnight stay and it was not as bad as I expected considering the price.
No, it was rather very nice.

The guest rooms and lobby have a classical atmosphere, which is emo not found in new and clean hotels, which is good on the contrary.
The Italiken in Furumachi used to have a classical atmosphere, but that hotel was beautifully renovated, so nowadays, city hotels with an old and tasteful atmosphere are rare.
The rooms are old, but there are no major negative points for a normal night's sleep.

The food at the banquet was very good, but to be honest, most of the food at city hotels is good no matter where you eat.
However, the banquet food at this hotel had a solid core flavor and was easy to eat, which suits my personal palate.

I have no complaints about the breakfast.
The variety and taste were very satisfying, especially the omelets and French toast, the best part of a city hotel.

To be honest, I didn't have high expectations for the customer service because of my preconceived notions before I went, but the front desk staff and the restaurant staff were all well behaved, and I realized that this is a city hotel.

They were flexible in many ways for the banquet and the location is good.
It depends on your taste, but I think this is a good hotel for those who fit your requirements and tastes perfectly.

Absolutely prime location, incredibly convenient for shopping.

The location is a bit awkward, but the breakfast was delicious.

Good hotel with very nice location
