The large public bath was very spacious and comfortable. There was also a fitness room that could be used for free, a convenience store, and other facilities, so the hotel had plenty of room. There were many elevators, so it wasn't too crowded, which was nice. The machine system at check-in seemed a bit troublesome, so I hope it will be improved.

The transportation is convenient in front of Niigata Station. You can take the bus from the airport directly to the hotel entrance. The room is not big and has an integrated bathroom. It feels a bit like a business hotel. Even after checking out, you can eat in the public area after buying food at the seafood market.

It was nice that meals were included. Late check-out was 1,000 yen per hour.

I booked 5 rooms and requested to change the floor of only one room by phone. I was told that the reservation number was different, but when I checked in, I couldn't check in even if I entered that number, so we ended up on the same floor. It's a shame. There was no toothbrush in the room, but it was at the front desk on the 4th floor, so don't forget to bring it!

As foreigners, the hotel has no sign in English which was given me confusing where the location is. I would suggest to put more English sign and clearly provide the explanation that the hotel is also located on the 4th floor. I stayed here for the first time to see the Nagaoka fireworks, and it was very helpful that they kept the public bath open until late. The breakfast was also very luxurious and I ended up eating too much.

Since Niigata is not a developing tourist city, most of the hotels in the city are not new buildings. The room was extremely small, and the only place to put my suitcase was in the gap between the wall and the bed. It was a shame that I had to unfold it on the bed. The breakfast was excellent.

Check in at 3:00, you can store your luggage in advance. If you want to store your luggage after check out, it costs 500 yen per piece. It is very close to the station, and you can buy a one-day bus ticket at the station if you want to go out.

Thanks to Niigata, I can actually stay at Okura with breakfast included for less than 400 yuan! The cheapest single room has old facilities but is still clean. I stayed there for one night and caught the Shinkansen early the next morning. I had breakfast at 6:30. There weren't many varieties, but everything was exquisite and appropriate. Great 👍

It's a little far from the station, but the cherry blossoms along the river and the tulips on Bandai Bridge were beautiful and it was a great place to take a walk. As expected of Okura, it will never disappoint you. The service, environment and food are of course impeccable, and the location is also super good, right next to the Bandai Bridge and the Shin-no-Kawa River. It is not far from Niigata Station. If you have good legs, it's a 15-minute walk. Of course, there is a bus stop in front of the hotel, which is very convenient.

It's great. The intern sister in the lobby is very nice. Except that the room is a little small, everything else is perfect. It's very clean, quiet and comfortable, and the transportation is convenient.

An excellent stay. The staff were so polite (even more so than I was expecting), and the room was spotless. It’s a little far from the station, but easily accessible by bus. You can’t miss it as you’re crossing Bandai Bridge.

The Art Hotel Niigata Station's location is very ideal. It has a sheltered link way to the Train Station. There are also many shops around the area. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and big. Definitely worth revisiting.

Art hotel in Niigata is great. A very accessible location in many restaurants around especially the main station of Niigata. The hotel is clean and they have a very welcoming staff. We stayed there for one night only but we will definitely stay again.

Spectacular views particularly from the corner room. Amenities packs were provided for children and onsite overnight parking available. Walking distance from the Bandai Pier markets and there's a cafe/shop upstairs with a convenience store in the same building (only open to 7pm) downstairs.

It's well located next to the conference center. The staff is friendly and efficient. But this hotel lacks some facilities as a five star hotel. They don't even have a bar, but they have a sake lounge with machines that you can taste different sake. The hotel has a very nice observation floor on the top with a cafe & souvenir shop that you can see the whole city of Kobe. It was a good experience...

There were clumps of dust on the floor and hot water heater in the room, which I thought was a bit much so I took a photo. I contacted the front desk and they changed my room. Amenities are available in the lobby and guests have to bring what they need. The hotel is clean, as are the rooms. It's close to the station, so it's convenient when going out to eat. There is a parking lot adjacent to the hotel where you can stay for 1,100 yen per night.

I will be staying here in my upcoming holiday. I visited there 15 years ago it's right in the centre of furumachi niigata city. It has hot spring style baths which are great for sore bones and elderly travellers. It's a radium bath.

Pretty standard Japanese business hotel. Cozy clean rooms, nice staff, in a central part of town. A lot of check-in/check-out stuff is done through a kiosk so you can get by without much Japanese language. Enjoy!

maybe i am too used to bigger rooms, bigger bath. still meet all the needs, very centrally located, have common hot bath/spa, a few convenient stores within 100m, have a ramen stall right across the hotel. the ramen stall have a little cute ENGLISH speaking Indonesian waitress. she is most helpful with our meals and even offered tp show us around after her workinh hours. she is 5 stars......

The location is great. It’s a 3 min walk to Niigata station with many eating options and shops (Cocolo). Enjoyed the quality of the toiletires. There’s pyjamas provided. Like the set up of the room with space for a table and seating areas. It will be great to have another pillow.

As other reviews have said, the breakfast here was delicious, and the French toast and omelettes were top-notch. It's also convenient for getting around Niigata city, and the prices are reasonable. It's old, but we liked the retro feel. The exterior, which reminded us of a large cruise ship, was also nice.

I used this facility with my 3-year-old child. There were hangers in the room that children could use, which was very helpful.

Was given a room with 2 single beds. When I checked with the reception, they said their level 10 was under renovation and that my booking doesn't give me a choice. It's a standard Japanese hotel. Although the room is a little small, it is clean and fully equipped. There are also travel information and skin care products at the front desk. I am very satisfied.

All Dormy Inn chain hotels offer the best late-night ramen, ice cream after a bath, and lactic acid bacteria drinks in the morning.

I've not ever stayed Dormy Inn and this was the first time. It was very nice and impressive. Good onsen and clean facilities. I will try to find Dormy Inn chain near the places I plan to trip to. Thank you so much for the nice services the hotel provided.

Really nice hotel and very well located! The onsen facilities were really nice and you had complimentary ice cream or Yakult afterwards depending on the time of day.

During the cherry blossom season in 2025, I chose Dormy Inn in all three cities. What I like most about Dormy Inn Niigata is that the room door faces the open-air atrium, which is spacious and bright, with fresh air, much more comfortable than the closed corridor. It is rare to find a hotel with this structure, and I really like it.

It's a great experience to stay in this hotel. It is because the location is near the main station and there is also easy access to good food.

There is no open-air hot spring for girls😑😑😑, but there is one for boys. It is the most ordinary one I have ever stayed in in Duomi. I don’t know why men and women are different. One has an open-air hot spring and the other does not.

I often use this hotel because it's cheaper than using a shuttle to get home when I go out drinking in Furumachi! The front desk staff are also very kind.

There are many restaurants in the area and tourist attractions are close by, so I was able to enjoy a lot of things. Best of all, the price was reasonable. I will use it again if I have the opportunity.

good stay overall. Located near both to the Niggata station and Bandai bridge, it is a standard Japanese business hotel. It's a bit worn down, especially the room carpets and walls. Also sone amenities like coffee or tea are not available in your room, need to go down to the 2nd floor. Not practical. They also operate a no-clean policy during your stay, they just hand your towels on your door.

The location is perfect because it is next to the Niigata station. However, there were not many things to eat in the morning restaurant.

I used this hotel during a trip to Niigata. It's directly connected to Niigata Station so the location is great, and the room and service were impeccable. There was a water dispenser and coffee machine in the lobby, and a 7-Eleven just outside the hotel, so I had no trouble staying there.

It's a five-minute walk from the Bandai Exit of Niigata Station. There's a Lawson nearby, and there are many ramen restaurants and izakayas around the hotel. The room was clean and tidy. The food was delicious, but the dining room was small and I had to wait 30 minutes for breakfast. The walls were dirty in some places and some were a little dirty. There were restaurants and convenience stores near the hotel, which was convenient.

I stayed on a business trip, but the bed and room were large. Overall it is beautiful and the parking lot has a weight designation, but it is a two-story building. It seems that it cannot be stopped for medium-sized cars and above.
