The room was very clean and comfortable. The amenities were excellent (it has a manga library!), and the location of the hotel is the cherry on top of the cake.

It's very close to Niigata Station. It was nice to have a large public bath.

I stayed here for the first time to see the Nagaoka fireworks, and it was very helpful that they kept the public bath open until late. The breakfast was also very luxurious and I ended up eating too much.

Since Niigata is not a developing tourist city, most of the hotels in the city are not new buildings. The Daiichi Hotel was renovated in recent years, so all the facilities are well maintained, making people feel very comfortable and worth the money. The hotel service is also very satisfactory. The location is excellent, 3 minutes walk from Niigata Station, there is a convenience store downstairs, and there are many restaurants and food around.

Check in at 3:00, you can store your luggage in advance. If you want to store your luggage after check out, it costs 500 yen per piece. It is very close to the station, and you can buy a one-day bus ticket at the station if you want to go out.

Nice hotel withe rooms of various sizes. For me it was spacious enough. Bed was comfortable, would have liked one more cushion.

Breakfast was buffetstyle and really very good with a lot of choises, both Japanese, local and western.

Very pleasant comfortable stay. So close to the loop bus, bus stop and only 1km walk from the Sake brewery. The bed was a small double however we didn’t mind as it was so comfortable and we slept really well. Only 1 very tiny, tiny issue was that we were near the elevator and guests returning from late night revelling were quite noisy.
