Very good price at last minute booking. Quite spacious room and spacious bathroom too. The location is easily accessible from JR Niigata station (bandaid exit)

Location, detailedness to traveller need, staff friendliness were good. Facilities were good as well. We stayed in room at the higher floor and view is good.

Front Desk Service - Queues on weekends are very long. Check in took 15 to 20 mins on a Saturday. Staff did their best to speed up the process by getting guests to fill up the information cards while waiting

Strategic location but razor need to pay to get it for guest. Free massage is good. Too crowded bath. No ladies ammenities given.

Opposite Niigata Station, exit from Bandai Square. There is a Lawson opposite (Station side), and a 7 eleven next to the hotel. Located right along an entire street of food. Don Quijote is a 7 min walk away

Amenities - They don't provide the standard cotton wool and buds, have to purchase at extra cost. There is green tea and coffee sachets provided for you to take in the lobby, as well as ear plugs

The service is really impressive. I am very touched by their hospitality. The location is also great, just next to JR station. A 10 to 15 mins walk will bring you to don quijote

The view from the window is great, you can see people walking around the station, no blocking by any tall buildings. Window can be opened, which is great, as it make the room feel fresh and cooling

Very good location! Room is tidy and clean! But the room is a bit hot because there’s no air conditioning! The switches are for heating! The hotel provides free storage of luggages! So good we left our luggages and take a trip to Yahiko village!

A very accessible location in many restaurants around especially the main station of Niigata. The hotel is clean and they have a very welcoming staff. We stayed there for one night only but we will definitely stay again

Even though this hotel was getting old but we very likes their service. Their cleaning service were very satisfied and we feel warming that the cleaner helped to replace my non dried clothes on the hotel towels

I stayed here for the first time to see the Nagaoka fireworks, and it was very helpful that they kept the public bath open until late. The breakfast was also very luxurious and I ended up eating too much.

The Daiichi Hotel was renovated in recent years, so all the facilities are well maintained, making people feel very comfortable and worth the money. The hotel service is also very satisfactory

Well located 5 minutes from Niigata station and 10 minutes from Bandai Bridge, this hotel had spacious rooms (by Japanese standards) and very good central heating to keep out the Niigata winter

Pretty standard Japanese business hotel. Cozy clean rooms, nice staff, in a central part of town. A lot of check-in/check-out stuff is done through a kiosk so you can get by without much Japanese language. Enjoy!

I will be staying here in my upcoming holiday. I visited there 15 years ago it's right in the centre of furumachi niigata city. It has hot spring style baths which are great for sore bones and elderly travellers

maybe i am too used to bigger rooms, bigger bath. still meet all the needs, very centrally located, have common hot bath/spa, a few convenient stores within 100m, have a ramen stall right across the hotel

the ramen stall have a little cute ENGLISH speaking Indonesian waitress. she is most helpful with our meals and even offered tp show us around after her workinh hours

You don't have to exit the station and can go directly through the corridor. It is right next to the Cocolo Commercial Street in the station, making it very convenient for travel and dining

There doesn't seem to be much to comment on this business hotel. It is pretty good in all aspects. The rooms are not big, and the hotel has a laundry room. More importantly, it has the best location

Don't forget to book with breakfast too as the catering restaurant is one of the highest score near the Niigata station. Will definitely use again if come by Niigata

Can’t beat the location, it’s right next to 7-11 and the sake museum, and directly accessible from the JR station. The breakfast is fabulous and generous. Love it.

  Room is spacious by Japanese standard, and location is good, near to Bandai Pier and fashion shopping. We could walk to the train station in 10 minutes

The Crowne Plaza Niigata is a good standard a Crowne Plaza set in central Niigata. Our room was upgraded and our room preferences were all accommodated by the attentive staff. Check in and check out were a breeze!

The premium queen room is fantastic. On the high floor with a lovely view of the mountains. Hotel is close to a shopping mall called Love La with Uniqlo, Muji, GU, CanDo and Aeon supermarket

It's a bit of a walk from the Niigata train station (10mins?) so if it's cold and snowing, maybe abit more challenging, but on a nice weather day, it's a pleasant walk

There are also familymart and Lawson nearby. Food wise, McDonald’s and Matsuya (24hours) are walking distance 5mins. Room is quiet and great to stay!

Typical Japanese “business hotel”, compact and clean. Minimal but friendly and polite service. Really good for a sudden need for a night to sleep.

For business hotel, it is fine. Condition is normal, clean, not so squeezed, and with window. Breakfast not very delicious. Sauna is not that good but better than nothing.

・There are souvenir shops and the local arcade shopping street right in front of the hotel, so you can purchase souvenirs such as agricultural products, seafood, and sasamochi

・Parking is available at the multi-storey car park opposite, where you can issue a commuter pass and pay in advance for your stay, which allows unlimited entry and exit

・Breakfast is buffet style, which was great for me as I have dietary restrictions as I could choose only the items I could eat and eat small amounts

・There is a roadside station 5km away within the prefecture, so you can purchase crabs and other items there and have them delivered to your home

Leaving them at the front desk means you don't have to worry about losing them, so that's actually a good thing

The room was spacious, and both twin beds were large, which was nice. The keys are the old-fashioned type that you have to leave them at the front desk, but it's not an issue since the front desk is open 24 hours a day

Unless you have a small car, you'll have to use the public parking lot across the street, not the hotel parking lot. It's just a regular multi-story car park, and is not affiliated with the hotel

The bed and pillows are comfortable for our liking, and the small bathroom - again the typical Japanese type - is clean and its has strong water pressure for a comfortable shower! At SGD S$81 per night without breakfast, we find it value for money and we will choose to stay here if we travel to Niigata again

My wife and I have had a 3-night stay at this Comfort Inn Niigata Chuo Inter Hotel Room #518 from 16 to 19 October 2025. The Hotel is located in the outskirt of the Niigata City Centre and just a 5-km drive walk away

We have continued to use it since last year. The size of the room is similar to that of a typical business hotel, but it is kept clean and the bed is comfortable

The 5-storey hotel has modest reception on the First Floor, and the hotel staff are polite and helpful, and they are able to communicate in simple English

So we are grateful and thankful that we had enjoy free parking for 3 days! It also provides free coffee and tea via machines 24 hours daily

I booked an executive room, but I was not given the benefits of an executive room. The hotel WIFI is sometimes good or bad and needs to be disconnected and reconnected
