I booked a room in the main building with a bathroom and toilet, but ended up with a room in the annex without a toilet or bath.
What a shame.

Driving is very convenient, with free parking available (though it's quite popular with day-trippers, so if it's full, you'll have to wait until the day-trippers leave before a spot becomes available). The room is a good size, with a shared toilet and shower on the same floor, which is clean and convenient. The hot spring is located in the main building, easily accessible from the annex. The water is very hot, and there's a rest area and cafeteria outside. The room was relatively clean, but upon checking out, I noticed a used toothbrush on the top shelf of the locker...

A litten bit away from the Station an port, but can be reached by bus. Nice Onsen. Very nicht Personal.

Free private baths are available. The hotel has an indoor private bath that can be reserved for free. We arrived at 6 PM and successfully booked it for 10 PM. It's small, but perfect for a couple. Free parking is available. It's about a 15-minute drive from Onomichi and Higashi-Onomichi downtown areas. The front desk staff speaks English.

I stayed at this lodging on the outskirts of Onomichi, which has a day spa. I needed a Japanese-style room during the Obon holidays. It was a little far from the city center, and the toilet and bathroom were shared, but the hot spring had a restaurant attached, and the food was delicious, which was very helpful. The front desk staff were kind and polite, and even kindly accommodated my request to freeze some ice packs overnight. Thank you very much.

It was my 50th birthday treat with my parents. They both likes the hotel and enjoyed the stay. My mum thinks she would bring her friends next time.
