The hotel boasts a stylish interior and a beautiful sky lounge offering stunning night views of Hakodate. Its location is excellent, with easy access to the Hakodate Morning Market and the Red Brick Warehouses, making it very convenient for sightseeing. The hotel also provides onsen facilities, which are a great addition—though I didn’t get the opportunity to try them during my stay. Overall, it was...
Loved the hotel! He lobby is very wide and welcoming, and very well decorated. The room was very spacious, and I especially loved the view of Mount Hakodate from my window. I loved the onsen and lounge on the top floor of the main wing, too! They also have free mini popsicles in the lounge. I recommend the milk popsicles.
Great location which is walking distance from JR station Room size is good
Room is spacious and bed is big and comfortable. Love the memory foam pillow as well. Onsen is basic with just one 'pool'. Breakfast is the highlight of this hotel. You get to choose between 2 restaurants - buffet or Japanese dining. We stayed 2 night so we get to try both. I personally prefer the buffet as the variety and quality of food is really good. My husband prefer the Japanese dining it is...
The hot spring wasn't as appealing as in the pictures. Breakfast was decent, especially the cake, which was delicious. For the hot spring, maybe because of the cold weather, the glass fogged up and you couldn't see anything.
The room was spotless, and the location couldn't be better. It's incredibly convenient, being very close to Mount Hakodate, the Red Brick Warehouses, and the train station. Plus, there are tons of fantastic dining options in the area.

Both the service and the structure could be improved, with more attention to cleaning (especially for dust). During breakfast the staff was very rude to us, to the point of not even returning our greeting. I wouldn’t go back.
Breakfast buffet is pretty good. Free ramen as supper. Coffee machine 24 hours . Location is super good.
A fantastic hotel, especially beautiful view , the free ramen at 10 pm and the amazing breakfast buffet. The only problem is the small rooms, but that's typical of Japanese hotels.
Excellent location in Hakodate, all walking distances from major attractions - red brick share houses, the churches and government houses, morning market etc. Breakfast spread was excellent and the sashimi seafood for chirashi bowls are fresh and delicious. My only complaint is that reception staff can learn to speak some English especially when the hotel is full of tourists from various countries...
The hotel is not far from the station, about an 8-9 minute walk, and they offer a shuttle service to the station. The breakfast was incredibly lavish, with everything you could possibly want. From various vantage points, including the restaurant and hot springs, you can see Mount Hakodate.
The room was spacious, which was great for traveling with kids. There's a supermarket on the first floor, and plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby. It's an ideal location, very convenient for getting to Mount Hakodate and the train station. There were always taxis waiting right outside the door.

Fantastic hotel located very centrally to a lot of shops and amenities nearby. Beautiful decor in the hotel, giving a homely and welcoming vibe. Hotel has hot springs which is a plus. But the gym can be better equipped. Lastly, the breakfast is fabulous, which is one of the main highlights of the hotel.
A great overnight luxury transit hotel within 7 - 8 mins walking distance from JR Hakodate. Good service rendered by friendly highly trained staff. Worth a stay to experience Another 10 mins walking distance to the Red Brick House 🏠 for awesome retail shopping spree 🛒🛍️ to buy the local 🇯🇵 Hokkaido delights & savour local cuisine. The room offers a stunning view of Hakodate Bay, and the facilities are quite new and spacious. The breakfast buffet was absolutely perfect and very rich. Plus, it's conveniently located right next to the Hakodate Morning Market and JR Hakodate Station.
The hotel was amazing, especially the breakfast!
This hotel breaksfast buffer is super delicious and variety of choices. You can choose pillow and aromatic oil to put in your room.
Facilities: Excellent. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, better than many hotel buffets. Cleanliness: Good. Environment: It's very convenient to walk around and explore the area. The bay view is absolutely stunning. Service: Very good. They even offer a pillow menu and aromatherapy choices in the evening.

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Global View Hakodate. While the hotel provides the reliable comfort you’d expect from a 3-star property, the service is what truly stands out. The Highlights: Outstanding Staff: A huge thank you to Lin at the reception. His English is excellent, and he made communication effortless. Quick Response: We requested a change of blankets and an extra pillow; he handled...
We were given a suite for 5 people with only 2 single beds, and we were told three futons were in the cupboard and that we had to set them up ourselves. The 3 futons didn’t fit in the room and were very thin. We had to overlap them, and the sheets were too small. The rest of the room was nice, with a nice view of the sea. Overall, the room would have been fine for 2, or 2 + one child, but clearly way...
The hotel provides excellent service with complete facilities. The room was very spacious and had a balcony with a beautiful sea view. There are restaurants, a gashapon game zone, and a relaxing onsen, which made the stay very comfortable. All the staff were kind, polite, attentive, and always smiling, making us feel very welcome. We stayed for two nights and felt so comfortable that we wished we...
Great quality for its price. Has a spacious onsen and Sauna. The Breakfast worth its price. Supermarket (Topvalu) and pharmacy are within walking distance, same as train station. The room has regular fridge, microwave oven, and washing machine is a plus. The Breakfast buffet is great, and do have variety that my stay for 2 days has different variety. But the Wifi is horrible during rush hour as it...
10 mins walking distance from the JR station but you can easily walk without taxi. It is located pretty quiet area and nearby Omori beach. They do have good breakfast. I tried 4 other hotel's expensive breakfast during Japan trip but I really enjoyed the most. Stayed with other family members and I received a lot of compliments about the breakfast(especially old parents, a uncle and an aunt). Although...
It was a pleasant experience to stay at this hotel with a large room and a kitchen to cook the dinner. It would be even better if cleaning services can be arranged on each day.

This hotel is very close to the train station, which is just across the street. If there’s no snow, it’s very easy to get there, literally just crossing one traffic light. However, in snowy conditions, even crossing the traffic light becomes cumbersome. If I had a choice again, I would pick the JR Hotel right at the station so I wouldn’t have to drag my bags in the snow. On the positive side, our...
Convenient location beside JR Hakodate Station and morning seafood market. Rooms and toilet are small but expected of most city hotels in Japan. Clean, functional and reasonable price for short stays to get around the main attractions.
The hotel location is just next to JR station and the famous Hakodate Morning Market Square. The room is quite small and there is no properly place to hang your clothings for standard Double room. The bathroom lightings is the brightest that I've come across so far which is good. Basic amenities and dated hotel. On the ground floor there is shop that sells Japanese goods for tourist and traveller with...
Hotel is conveniently located just across Hakodate JR Station and nearby the bus terminal and local tram stop. Downstairs had a convenience (drug) store which has all sorts of meds that you may need; nearby are quite a number of eateries to choose from including a Lucky Pierrot outlet as well - this one seems to be larger so we didn’t need to queue. The hotel had a Cafe - complimentary access for...
Amazing hotel, great location (literally next to the station). The breakfast was the best I have had in a hotel in years. I strongly recommend!! Also the bar (with view) was worth trying. They even have great signature cocktails
exceptional experience in the hotel. Location just in front of station, helpfull staff, free lounge with drinks and snacks, 5 star hotel exceptional breakfast with local foods for good price, facilities that just needed for long traveler (laundromat, relax room). It was a great stay at the hotel even though it is not very near to the main tourist area. Overall very pleasant experience with all the facilities provided and small gifts in the suite room. Will definitely go back again for next visit to Hakodate..
My husband and I have stayed at this hotel many times, and what truly makes our stay special every single time is the incredible hospitality of the Restaurant Manager, Mr. Soto. He is the only one who consistently remembers us and treats us with such genuine respect and kindness. He makes us feel like family. We are leaving for the USA next week, but we will definitely be back soon because of him.
One of the best hotel we ever stayed in Japan. Buffet dinner was superb..scallop and unlimited snow crab provided by hotel. Onsen is top especially the outdoor pool which overlooking the sea. Must stay if anyone plan to go Hakodate
The price was really good, the service was excellent, and the breakfast buffet was plentiful. The hot springs on the top floor were also very relaxing.
The hotel was excellent and very affordable. Both dinner and breakfast were quite good. The open-air hot spring on the rooftop offered stunning sea views, and with snowflakes falling on my face while I was soaking, it truly felt like an authentic Hokkaido experience.
The location is excellent, very close to both the airport and the beach. Directly opposite is the Tropical Botanical Garden, and from the room, you can even spot monkeys in the garden. The hot spring views are absolutely fantastic, and soaking in them on a snowy day was an incredible experience!!!!!!

The room was quite spacious. Aside from feeling a bit dim, everything else was pretty good. It seems there's a microwave on every floor, which is very convenient. However, it's a bit of a walk from the JR station, but there's a McDonald's nearby.
The breakfast was wonderful, and they even offered a complimentary ramen supper from 10pm onwards. The location isn’t ideal, as it’s about 1 km from the morning market. Overall, considering the room rate, there’s really nothing to complain about.
The front desk service was excellent, very friendly and helpful. The location is also decent. The room felt like a guesthouse from 30 years ago, but the cleanliness was acceptable. The bathroom had an unpleasant odor. The breakfast buffet was good.
Beyond expectations! I booked this hotel specifically for the breakfast, and it definitely didn't disappoint. The fresh, all-you-can-eat seafood was absolutely amazing. The only minor drawbacks were its distance from the station and the quiet surroundings. We visited during the off-season, and the streets were quite deserted when we walked back to the hotel at night.
For its price point, this hotel offers surprisingly spacious rooms, which is definitely large for Japan. But... with such a big room, complete with a sofa, table, and cabinets, why is the bathroom designed to be as small and cramped as those in a 10-square-meter room?
Everything is good. The location is great near family mart. Just 5mins walk and 15 mins walk to market and train station

I stayed here for an event at Hakodate Arena. It was great that it was close, and the hotel, rooms, and food were all great.
The food was satisfying, but the hot spring was lukewarm, which was disappointing.
I stayed here for one night on a collaborative tour between Hankyu Travel International and Noguchi Kanko. It is located in Yunokawa, across the street from a drug store and next to a Lawson. It is a large inn with a hot spring. There is also an open-air bath, which you can use anytime. There were also high school students staying there on a school trip. Both dinner and breakfast were buffet style...
The key location of choosing this large semi-Japanese hotel is the famous Yunokawa hot spring area in Hakodate. First of all, I pointed out that I originally chose Takubokutei because of its reputation and the size of the hotel. However, when I checked in, I saw that the Western-style room I booked was so old and had simple equipment. /The desk, luggage rack, everything is missing, the carpet is dirty...
We were traveling with our child (1 year old). The food was more delicious than we expected, and they even had curry for kids. However, it was extremely hot in the room. Even when we turned on the air conditioner, only warm air came out, so we turned it off. (It may have gotten colder if we had left it on, but we couldn't stand the heat so we turned it off.) It may not be related, but our child...
It is a specialized hot spring hotel. The room facilities are not new but very clean. There is an open-air hot spring on the roof, which is worth experiencing. The package includes breakfast and dinner, which are all self-service. The food is rich in variety and the ingredients are fresh. After arriving at Hakodate Station, take tram 2 or 5 to Yukawa Onsen, which is easier to find.

The hotel is right by the sea, and you can see the ocean from both the rooms and the restaurant. The lobby on the ground floor is beautiful, and the staff are very friendly. The large public bath was not crowded, and soaking in it during snowy weather was incredibly comfortable.
Stayed in Tatami Room with fabulous sea view. Food was delicious, generous and variety buffet for bfast and dinner. Recommended. Value for price. Easy assess with bus ride but need to check on the timing.
The hotel is superb!! Love the spacious and cleanliness! We checked in early to enjoy the room and onsen. The breakfast was delicious and many varieties provided. Enjoy my meal and stay with great ocean view. Love the Japanese style bed room.
I booked a Japanese-style room with meals included, and the food was quite plentiful. The ocean-view room offered a view of the sea, but you couldn't access the beach directly. The hotel seems a bit old, but the service was really good.
The breakfast was terrible, like pre-made meals. There was hardly any decent food, and it was exactly the same for two days straight, with no changes to the dishes at all. The Wi-Fi was extremely unstable, constantly losing signal and speed. The room felt old and was cramped for two people. It was stuffy; even with the AC off, it was hot, and I woke up every morning with a damp back. There weren't...

Room was clean, food was delicious! I will definitely stay again.
The hotel's location is convenient. While there's no particular view, there's a small balcony. The room is also quite spacious. For this price, it includes a dinner buffet and a breakfast buffet, both of which are excellent quality with a good variety of choices. This offers extremely high value for money.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, the buffet dinner and breakfast were plentiful, the bath was quite large, complimentary tea and popsicles were provided outside the hot spring, free parking was available, and the staff were friendly. Overall, it was a good experience.
Check-in was at 3:00 PM, but I was able to arrive around 2:15 PM, which was nice. The man's English was easy to understand, which was great. It was the easiest I've ever understood during my trip to Japan! The room was very clean, the food was good, the staff was very welcoming, and I loved being able to watch the sunrise from my room. I think it would be nice if the amenities were a little softer...
The location was a bit far from the city's tourist attractions, but it was great to relax, take a walk around the area, soak in the hot springs, and enjoy delicious breakfast and dinner. The staff were friendly, and they even kept my luggage after check-out. The food was delicious, and it was a satisfying two-night stay in every way.
The meals at this unexpected stay in Hakodate were outstanding, and I was truly moved by the receptionist’s fluent English – a rare experience in Japan. Thanks to their helpful guidance, I had a comfortable and relaxing time.

Booked the room with a private onsen and it was an amazing experience! The staff there are also warm and welcoming. Soe showed us our room and patiently explained the different opening hours for lounge and cafe. Breakfast included was a traditional Japanese style course and it was an amazing experience
Perhaps because we checked in late, we were offered an early dinner and an early breakfast. Since we checked in late at noon, we managed to request a later dinner, but it was a bit difficult the next morning. If you have a preferred time, I recommend checking in earlier. The room was spacious and very nice! Perhaps because there was a bath in the room, the large public bath was empty and we had it...
Very good hotel, stylish, and attentive service. However, the facilities are a bit old, which is a common problem of Japanese hotels. The windows of the indoor hot spring are very old-fashioned aluminum alloy windows, which are not very convenient for taking pictures.
Disadvantages: The room is old and the price/performance ratio is average. The price is 1050 per night and the bathtub is the smallest. Advantages: It is close to the airport. It takes about half an hour to take the tram to the city. The transportation is very convenient.
The shop and front desk are slow to respond

Hotel was located conveniently near the tram station about 3 minutes walk away. The Gagyutei Japanese-Style Room, which i booked was nice, clean & spacious. The Japanese Kaiseki Dinner which was included in the package was great, the sashimi was fresh & the scallop rice was delicious. Had a comfortable & relax stay at the hotel.

We stayed here last minute due to some transport cancellations. The location was fantastic, right next to the station. Room was basic but very comfortable. The staff were friendly. Really enjoyed the outdoor bath while the snow fell.
This hotel is right next to Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto JR Station, making it perfect for a layover when traveling by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Hakodate. It's a business hotel, but the facilities and service are excellent, and they even have a hot spring bath.
The room was clean and tidy, a good experience overall.
This is an excellent option if you need an overnight stay between train rides or picking up a rental car near Hakodate. Easy train access to Hakodate city if you want to visit. Very helpful staff who made restaurant and taxi reservations on our behalf. Very comfortable room well laid out for its size.
We stayed for one night; it was clean, though the room was a bit cold and had a slight odor. We turned on the air conditioning, and everything normalized. In the evening, you can enjoy complimentary drinks. Overall, we liked the hotel and would recommend it. The room was spacious, 21 sq.m., compared to others.
Very near attractions and warehouses.
Location is good for every spot of hakodate hightlight's place, 5-10 minute walk to every spot. Room is clean and bed is big. I like washing machine that for free and reasonable room price.
The lobby is very stylish, the service is excellent, the room is very large, and I have a very good impression of Hakodate.
It's quite close to nearby attractions, but far from the JR line. The room is too dark. It is recommended to add more lights. The overall layout of the room is quite depressing. There is a guy who can speak Chinese at the front desk.

Room, Breakfast, Staffs were excellent. Breakfast was a top notch experience. Of all the hotels my family and I stayed during our ten days trip to Sapporo, Otaru and Haneda, this hotel surpassed the rest.
Villa Concordia Resort & Spa, Hokkaido We were at our last stop a tad apprehensive about this property, various things popped up that made me question our choice! However this was probably the best stay on this trip! A 6 storey building, containing just 10 rooms. We stayed for 5 days and had room (suite) 502. We enjoyed every aspect of this lovely hotel, for example each morning we had a different breakfast, beautifully prepared and more than enough. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice view at the mountain. Good supermarkt (Co-op) nearby.
Welcoming staff and a super cozy lounge where you can browse a solid selection of books and enjoy some free drinks. The room was spotless, and the welcome dessert—black sesame pudding—was amazing. I had it while playing jazz through their old-fashioned audio system, which made for the perfect kind of 洋風 experience. Would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Hakodate.

I think the quality of the breakfast is worth reviewing.
This review is for the relaxation spa inside the hotel. 5 stars, I wish I could give 10! I just had the best massage of my life with Takemoto. She is incredibly skilled, intuitive, and listens to the body. I feel like I’m walking on a cloud after having a massage with her. The whole environment was also so relaxing inside.
