Hakodate, 5-10 Otemachi (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Spa facilities: Massage, Spa and wellness centre
The hotel boasts a stylish interior and a beautiful sky lounge offering stunning night views of Hakodate. Its location is excellent, with easy access to the Hakodate Morning Market and the Red Brick Warehouses, making it very convenient for sightseeing. The hotel also provides onsen facilities, which are a great addition—though I didn’t get the opportunity to try them during my stay. Overall, it was...
Loved the hotel! He lobby is very wide and welcoming, and very well decorated. The room was very spacious, and I especially loved the view of Mount Hakodate from my window. I loved the onsen and lounge on the top floor of the main wing, too! They also have free mini popsicles in the lounge. I recommend the milk popsicles.
Great location which is walking distance from JR station
Room size is good
Room is spacious and bed is big and comfortable. Love the memory foam pillow as well. Onsen is basic with just one 'pool'.
Breakfast is the highlight of this hotel. You get to choose between 2 restaurants - buffet or Japanese dining. We stayed 2 night so we get to try both. I personally prefer the buffet as the variety and quality of food is really good. My husband prefer the Japanese dining it is...
The hot spring wasn't as appealing as in the pictures. Breakfast was decent, especially the cake, which was delicious. For the hot spring, maybe because of the cold weather, the glass fogged up and you couldn't see anything.
The room was spotless, and the location couldn't be better. It's incredibly convenient, being very close to Mount Hakodate, the Red Brick Warehouses, and the train station. Plus, there are tons of fantastic dining options in the area.

Both the service and the structure could be improved, with more attention to cleaning (especially for dust). During breakfast the staff was very rude to us, to the point of not even returning our greeting. I wouldn’t go back.
Breakfast buffet is pretty good. Free ramen as supper. Coffee machine 24 hours . Location is super good.
A fantastic hotel, especially beautiful view , the free ramen at 10 pm and the amazing breakfast buffet. The only problem is the small rooms, but that's typical of Japanese hotels.
Excellent location in Hakodate, all walking distances from major attractions - red brick share houses, the churches and government houses, morning market etc. Breakfast spread was excellent and the sashimi seafood for chirashi bowls are fresh and delicious. My only complaint is that reception staff can learn to speak some English especially when the hotel is full of tourists from various countries...
The hotel is not far from the station, about an 8-9 minute walk, and they offer a shuttle service to the station.
The breakfast was incredibly lavish, with everything you could possibly want.
From various vantage points, including the restaurant and hot springs, you can see Mount Hakodate.
The room was spacious, which was great for traveling with kids. There's a supermarket on the first floor, and plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby. It's an ideal location, very convenient for getting to Mount Hakodate and the train station. There were always taxis waiting right outside the door.

Fantastic hotel located very centrally to a lot of shops and amenities nearby. Beautiful decor in the hotel, giving a homely and welcoming vibe. Hotel has hot springs which is a plus. But the gym can be better equipped. Lastly, the breakfast is fabulous, which is one of the main highlights of the hotel.
A great overnight luxury transit hotel within 7 - 8 mins walking distance from JR Hakodate. Good service rendered by friendly highly trained staff. Worth a stay to experience

The room offers a stunning view of Hakodate Bay, and the facilities are quite new and spacious. The breakfast buffet was absolutely perfect and very rich. Plus, it's conveniently located right next to the Hakodate Morning Market and JR Hakodate Station.
The hotel was amazing, especially the breakfast!
This hotel breaksfast buffer is super delicious and variety of choices. You can choose pillow and aromatic oil to put in your room.
Facilities: Excellent. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, better than many hotel buffets.
Cleanliness: Good.
Environment: It's very convenient to walk around and explore the area. The bay view is absolutely stunning.

The room and meals were excellent, but the building was so cold that I caught a cold. The room was far from the baths and restaurant, so I got chilled while walking there. I would definitely want to avoid going during the colder months.
I stayed at a ryokan with a private hot spring in the room.
I used the public bath as well, but I especially liked the private hot spring. All the staff were friendly, and it was even better that the front desk remembered my face.
Excellent value for money, the room was great, highly recommended, breakfast and dinner were just enough to fill you up, it's an old hotel.
The check-in wait time was a bit long, about an hour. My family and I often stay at hot spring hotels, and there was one time in the past when we had a long line and it took a long time to check in, but I don't think it's unavoidable. There were no free tables at dinner time, so we wandered around for a while. It was disappointing that many of the buffet items were empty. I think the service was good...
I stayed in a room with an open-air bath. It was a nice, quiet room where I could relax. The open-air bath was also excellent, so I was very satisfied. The only disappointment was that the dinner buffet, although divided into time slots, did not limit the number of people allowed in the venue. The dishes and food were not ready in time, and the food was almost gone, so it was hard to tell what was...

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Global View Hakodate. While the hotel provides the reliable comfort you’d expect from a 3-star property, the service is what truly stands out.
The Highlights:
Outstanding Staff: A huge thank you to Lin at the reception. His English is excellent, and he made communication effortless.
Quick Response: We requested a change of blankets and an extra pillow; he handled...
We were given a suite for 5 people with only 2 single beds, and we were told three futons were in the cupboard and that we had to set them up ourselves.
The 3 futons didn’t fit in the room and were very thin. We had to overlap them, and the sheets were too small.
The rest of the room was nice, with a nice view of the sea.
Overall, the room would have been fine for 2, or 2 + one child, but clearly way...
The hotel provides excellent service with complete facilities.
The room was very spacious and had a balcony with a beautiful sea view.
There are restaurants, a gashapon game zone, and a relaxing onsen, which made the stay very comfortable.
All the staff were kind, polite, attentive, and always smiling, making us feel very welcome.

Great quality for its price. Has a spacious onsen and Sauna. The Breakfast worth its price. Supermarket (Topvalu) and pharmacy are within walking distance, same as train station. The room has regular fridge, microwave oven, and washing machine is a plus. The Breakfast buffet is great, and do have variety that my stay for 2 days has different variety. But the Wifi is horrible during rush hour as it...
10 mins walking distance from the JR station but you can easily walk without taxi. It is located pretty quiet area and nearby Omori beach. They do have good breakfast. I tried 4 other hotel's expensive breakfast during Japan trip but I really enjoyed the most. So far so good, it keeps super hotel standard performance and it has a lot of restaurants nearby the hotel. Recommended it!
The hotel is a bit far from the station. It would be easier if you could take the tram there during the snowy winter. There are McDonald's, convenience stores and drugstores on the street from the hotel. The service staff are very friendly. Alcoholic drinks (before 9pm) and soft drinks are also provided in the lobby. It is a bit difficult to open and pack the suitcases in the single room. , the hotel...
It's a little far from the station, but the hotel facilities are very new, and there are free drinks downstairs. In addition, I feel that the large bath is comfortable, but a bit too hot.
The hotel is clean, the location is good, and the breakfast is delicious!! It is convenient to use the hot springs, and the parking lot is large, so it is convenient and good to park.
Our stay at the super hotel was pleasantly surprising. The beds were clean, comfortable and neat and the Onsen is small but perfect for a short soak. The drinks in the lobby we’re a nice touch and even better was the bar in the evening where we could help ourselves to Sake and liquor until 9pm. The breakfast was definitely a highlight with delicious miso, fish and rice made fresh in the morning. Most...

Extremely convenient for the airport, the hotel itself is a bus stop! The breakfast was also delicious, perfect for a quick bite before heading to the morning market, haha.
Hotel was located conveniently near the tram station about 3 minutes walk away. The Gagyutei Japanese-Style Room, which i booked was nice, clean & spacious. The Japanese Kaiseki Dinner which was included in the package was great, the sashimi was fresh & the scallop rice was delicious. Had a comfortable & relax stay at the hotel.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making the stay very comfortable from check-in to check-out.
The location is excellent, only about a 3-minute walk from the tram station, which makes getting around very easy. There are also many restaurants nearby, so finding food is never a problem.

I absolutely love Hanabishi Hotel — I had the best 2-night stay here. The hotel is quiet with no large tour groups, and I really enjoyed the traditional feel and relaxing vibes. I tried all of their room types, and my favorite is the futon room with a private onsen. The futon is very comfortable, and the room itself is incredibly spacious.

The hotel is right by the sea, and you can see the ocean from both the rooms and the restaurant. The lobby on the ground floor is beautiful, and the staff are very friendly. The large public bath was not crowded, and soaking in it during snowy weather was incredibly comfortable.
Stayed in Tatami Room with fabulous sea view. Food was delicious, generous and variety buffet for bfast and dinner. Recommended. Value for price. Easy assess with bus ride but need to check on the timing.
The hotel is superb!! Love the spacious and cleanliness! We checked in early to enjoy the room and onsen. The breakfast was delicious and many varieties provided. Enjoy my meal and stay with great ocean view. Love the Japanese style bed room.
I booked a Japanese-style room with meals included, and the food was quite plentiful. The ocean-view room offered a view of the sea, but you couldn't access the beach directly. The hotel seems a bit old, but the service was really good.
The breakfast was terrible, like pre-made meals. There was hardly any decent food, and it was exactly the same for two days straight, with no changes to the dishes at all. The Wi-Fi was extremely unstable, constantly losing signal and speed. The room felt old and was cramped for two people. Good: The staff at Haiyokan were very accommodating. Although I used public transportation, the bus stop was conveniently close. There are also two convenience stores nearby. I loved the facial cleanser provided in the hot spring area so much that I bought some.

Although a bit dated, the hotel is well-maintained. It's very quiet with few tourists, and the rooftop hot spring is a nice bonus. Both breakfast and dinner are served at the new building across the street, which was a great experience. It's also very close to the zoo and botanical garden, and getting to JR station by taxi is super convenient.
This was the last lodging on my Hokkaido trip.
I chose a 10-tatami room. It was very spacious and clean, and even with two futons laid out, there was still plenty of room around, making it easy to pack and relax.
The hot spring on the top floor was also spacious, with hot, normal, and lukewarm water options available in the inner bath, and just one normal-temperature bath in the open-air bath.

I really enjoyed this hot spring hotel. On Mondays, it was so crowded that the entire place was practically reserved. It's said that the former shogunate soldier, Hijikata, bathed there. The water is a saline spring. The dinner was rich and delicious, especially the stew. It was perfect for enjoying a leisurely meal while looking out at the sea.
h is very quiet and clean. This time I stayed in a tatami room. The view outside is also good. You can see the sea. There is a hot spring on one side, which should have some therapeutic effect. From inside, you can see the scenery of the surrounding city, so it is not so isolated.

The front desk service was excellent, and the room was spacious and comfortable. However, there were some large black bugs in the hot spring water in the public bath. Luckily, I noticed them early and wasn't bitten. Everything else was top-notch!
Booked the room with a private onsen and it was an amazing experience! The staff there are also warm and welcoming. Soe showed us our room and patiently explained the different opening hours for lounge and cafe. Breakfast included was a traditional Japanese style course and it was an amazing experience
The room was large, but going up and down the stairs was inconvenient. Unlike Noboribetsu, they didn't offer to help carry luggage to the room.
The duvet cover was too small; the duvet tucked inside, not covering the feet or shoulders—it wasn't designed for adults.
The shower faucet was difficult to turn on and off.
Perhaps because we checked in late, we were offered an early dinner and an early breakfast. Since we checked in late at noon, we managed to request a later dinner, but it was a bit difficult the next morning. If you have a preferred time, I recommend checking in earlier.
The room was spacious and very nice!

A comfortable stay. It's very close to the airport. The hot springs on the 1st and 8th floors, though compact, felt very well-appointed. Amenities were plentiful. We had a lot of fun playing table tennis after soaking in the hot spring. You can even spot monkeys from the tropical botanical garden right from the accommodation, which was amusing! :)
The stunning ocean view was incredibly relaxing. The foot bath directly faces the sea, offering a breathtaking vista. The rooftop outdoor hot spring was quite small, which was a bit disappointing. Conveniently located. It was the reason I choose this hotel. Went Hakodate for a meal
We stayed here last minute due to some transport cancellations. The location was fantastic, right next to the station. Room was basic but very comfortable. The staff were friendly. Really enjoyed the outdoor bath while the snow fell.
This hotel is right next to Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto JR Station, making it perfect for a layover when traveling by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Hakodate. It's a business hotel, but the facilities and service are excellent, and they even have a hot spring bath.
The room was clean and tidy, a good experience overall.
This is an excellent option if you need an overnight stay between train rides or picking up a rental car near Hakodate. Easy train access to Hakodate city if you want to visit. The hotel's location is convenient. While there's no particular view, there's a small balcony. The room is also quite spacious. For this price, it includes a dinner buffet and a breakfast buffet, both of which are excellent quality with a good variety of choices. This offers extremely high value for money.

The location is very good. Hotel is a bit old but clean. No food service, which is a bit disappoint. In general is Ok.
Nice location if you drive to there. Old japanese style room. Convenience store is just near the building.
The location was good for sightseeing.
However, the facilities were old and the cleaning was poor.
About 20 minutes walk from the station. It's fine except for the smell of cigarettes in the bathroom. There is a large bath, but I was too tired to go. It's a cheap and good place to stay near Hakodate Station.
I had cold tanuki soba. It was a very good 28 soba. There is also a daily lunch, and I think it's a little-known spot. However, the inside of the store is too dark and it is difficult to find the menu (laughs)
cheap!
Bedrock bath is the best! !
Yonaki soba is also great!
It's super hot with a coupon that can be used at the Seicomart next door! !
Because it is far from the city center, it is essential to use the streetcar, but it was a wonderful little-known hotel.

They have onsen small one as well. The price is incredible cheap compared to place surrounding.
Cute stay and was very functional. Had everything i needed for one night.
I'd say it's 99% perfect. First of all, it's extremely well located. Secondly, there's a bar with all kinds of free drinks, as well as towels, toothbrushes, etc., and a snack bar with noodles and small snacks (more than enough for a meal). The cabin is fine, not too small. So, really perfect!

It was a very satisfying experience, with a large public bath, sauna, free drink bar, one free mask, and noodles for dinner. I didn't get breakfast, but I got it for free as part of a promotion. It was buffet style and I think the selection was more extensive than other capsule hotels.

The room was cosy with a beautiful...
On the last day of my trip, I wanted to experience one of the top 100 hot spring hotels. Upon entering, staff knelt to greet me, and I was offered homemade matcha and cookies. The hotel had a rustic charm. Entering the room, I was immediately struck by its cleanliness and spaciousness. In the morning, I could see the sea and seagulls; sitting and sipping tea while daydreaming was incredibly relaxing
The hotel staff were polite and friendly, providing excellent service. There was a 45-minute private hot spring bath; the public bath was a bit small. The private hot spring area was very nice and clean. The room faced the sea and had a sea view.
A rare find at this ocean-view hot spring hotel! Soaking in the hot spring while gazing at the sea, daydreaming, or chatting is simply wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we had a dedicated butler who escorted us to the large lounge for check-in. While their English wasn't fluent, they could communicate in Japanese and Chinese using a translation app, and were very responsible in repeatedly confirming...
Sea view room, no choice, just enjoy it when you get in, and you can even feed the seagulls hahahahaha (secretly)

The lovely old gentleman serving as at night was one of the best front desk staff I’ve ever met.
We originally planned to arrive at the property in the afternoon. However, our flight was cancelled and we had to seek alternative, delaying our arrival time until 23:00. When we arrive, we thought we will be self-checking in. But as we step inside the property from a heavy snow, we saw this kind gentleman...
A nice small hotel with only 26 rooms. Room is big and comfortable. The hotel served free ice cream and sparkling wine at night which was much appreciated. Onsen includes an outdoor section as well.

It's about a 20-minute bus ride from the airport.
If you're traveling with more than two people and have luggage, take a taxi.
The Aeon Mall Tropical Botanical Garden is nearby.
I had a great stay at a reasonable price (90,000 won).
Breakfast was good, and the soft serve ice cream, wine, and coffee were all-you-can-eat!
The hot springs were also decent.
I would definitely visit again. Thank you.
It was absolutely wonderful!
The location was great and parking was easy to find.
The front desk was very friendly and the welcome drinks were amazing! I ended up having the soft-serve ice cream several times.
The rooms were clean. Freshly ground coffee is a great thing for coffee lovers.
Dinner was a 10-piece nigiri sushi course, which was delicious.
I was also very satisfied with the variety...
A cozy small hotel with guaranteed excellent service. The setting is peaceful and quiet, perfect for independent travelers on a road trip!
