Fantastic hotel located very centrally to a lot of shops and amenities nearby. Beautiful decor in the hotel, giving a homely and welcoming vibe. Hotel has hot springs which is a plus. But the gym can be better equipped. Lastly, the breakfast is fabulous, which is one of the main highlights of the hotel.
A great overnight luxury transit hotel within 7 - 8 mins walking distance from JR Hakodate. Good service rendered by friendly highly trained staff. Worth a stay to experience Another 10 mins walking distance to the Red Brick House 🏠 for awesome retail shopping spree 🛒🛍️ to buy the local 🇯🇵 Hokkaido delights & savour local cuisine. The Hakodate Morning Market is right across the street with succulent...
The room offers a stunning view of Hakodate Bay, and the facilities are quite new and spacious. The breakfast buffet was absolutely perfect and very rich. Plus, it's conveniently located right next to the Hakodate Morning Market and JR Hakodate Station.
The hotel was amazing, especially the breakfast!
This hotel breaksfast buffer is super delicious and variety of choices. You can choose pillow and aromatic oil to put in your room.
Facilities: Excellent. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, better than many hotel buffets. Cleanliness: Good. Environment: It's very convenient to walk around and explore the area. The bay view is absolutely stunning. Service: Very good. They even offer a pillow menu and aromatherapy choices in the evening.

Right next to Hakodate Station, the location is great and it's convenient for getting to all the attractions. The breakfast was delicious.
Booked this hotel for the cherry blossom season in Hakodate. It's super close to Hakodate Station, making getting around really convenient, and it's also very near the Hakodate Morning Market. There's a free public bath on the top floor which is great for unwinding after a long day. Highly recommend!
Excellent! This place is right across from the train station and next to the bus terminal. **Facilities:** There's a coffee machine on the first floor and a hot spring on the fifth. The morning market is just across the street. **Cleanliness:** Very good. **Service:** The front desk service was excellent. I'd definitely stay here again on my next visit.
The location is super convenient! It's less than a 5-minute walk to the subway station, which is a huge plus, especially when you're lugging suitcases around in the winter. Staying close to the metro is definitely a must-have for me.
The location is very convenient, and the hot springs are so relaxing! I'll definitely consider staying here again next time I visit Hakodate!
Cons: The room was quite small, making it a bit difficult to fully open our luggage. Pros: They have free hot springs, and the location is incredibly convenient—just a 3-minute walk from Hakodate Station, with a convenience store nearby.

The hotel has everything you need, perfect location just 2 minutes away from Hakodate Station. The baths are so relaxing and the staff very professional even when the pricing is reasonable, highly recommended!
Place was nice. Good services and an onsen included in room rate. I thought the buffet style breakfast was fairly priced and well made. Unfortunately did not allow luggage storage after checkout. This was ok at most other hotels I stayed in Japan.
Good service and interesting hot bath / onsen in the hotel. There a salt sauna and salt onsen in. Comfortable room and bed too. U can see the hotel once get out from Hakodate station.
This place is awesome !!!! It’s new everything is clean and still nice !!! It’s a great value and conveniently located near the train station, it next to a super market. The exclusive public bath is awesome especially the out door section. The cold air with the warm clay bath felt great after a day of traveling on trains. The staff were really friendly and English speaking. I booked this last minute...
Super-duper breakfast. Maybe WBF means Wonderful BreakFast!? Simply excellent. Room small but normal for city centers.

The hotel's parking lot had limited spaces, so I parked in a nearby parking lot. Other than that, I didn't experience any inconvenience and it was very comfortable! I was happy to receive a free beer when I declined cleaning during my extended stay!
I used it for business purposes. The location was easy to rent, which was great.
Located near Goryokaku Park, it's a convenient location for sightseeing. There's also the Hakodate Shio Ramen restaurant "Ajisai" and the hamburger restaurant "Lucky Pierrot" nearby, which was very convenient.
It was nice not having to worry about parking. Next time, I'd like to try their breakfast. Also, it would have been nice to have a room with a good view of Goryokaku.
All the facilities were very clean and well-maintained. It was a very pleasant stay.
The hotel staff were very unfriendly. They didn't offer any helpful assistance, which was very disappointing. The air conditioning also smelled musty.

It was a great stay at the hotel even though it is not very near to the main tourist area. Overall very pleasant experience with all the facilities provided and small gifts in the suite room. Will definitely go back again for next visit to Hakodate..
My husband and I have stayed at this hotel many times, and what truly makes our stay special every single time is the incredible hospitality of the Restaurant Manager, Mr. Soto. He is the only one who consistently remembers us and treats us with such genuine respect and kindness. He makes us feel like family. We are leaving for the USA next week, but we will definitely be back soon because of him.
One of the best hotel we ever stayed in Japan. Buffet dinner was superb..scallop and unlimited snow crab provided by hotel. Onsen is top especially the outdoor pool which overlooking the sea. Must stay if anyone plan to go Hakodate
The price was really good, the service was excellent, and the breakfast buffet was plentiful. The hot springs on the top floor were also very relaxing.
The hotel was excellent and very affordable. Both dinner and breakfast were quite good. The open-air hot spring on the rooftop offered stunning sea views, and with snowflakes falling on my face while I was soaking, it truly felt like an authentic Hokkaido experience.
The location is excellent, very close to both the airport and the beach. Directly opposite is the Tropical Botanical Garden, and from the room, you can even spot monkeys in the garden. The hot spring views are absolutely fantastic, and soaking in them on a snowy day was an incredible experience!!!!!!

The room and meals were excellent, but the building was so cold that I caught a cold. The room was far from the baths and restaurant, so I got chilled while walking there. I would definitely want to avoid going during the colder months.
I stayed at a ryokan with a private hot spring in the room. I used the public bath as well, but I especially liked the private hot spring. All the staff were friendly, and it was even better that the front desk remembered my face.
Excellent value for money, the room was great, highly recommended, breakfast and dinner were just enough to fill you up, it's an old hotel.
The check-in wait time was a bit long, about an hour. My family and I often stay at hot spring hotels, and there was one time in the past when we had a long line and it took a long time to check in, but I don't think it's unavoidable. There were no free tables at dinner time, so we wandered around for a while. It was disappointing that many of the buffet items were empty. I think the service was good...
I stayed in a room with an open-air bath. It was a nice, quiet room where I could relax. The open-air bath was also excellent, so I was very satisfied. The only disappointment was that the dinner buffet, although divided into time slots, did not limit the number of people allowed in the venue. The dishes and food were not ready in time, and the food was almost gone, so it was hard to tell what was...

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Global View Hakodate. While the hotel provides the reliable comfort you’d expect from a 3-star property, the service is what truly stands out. The Highlights: Outstanding Staff: A huge thank you to Lin at the reception. His English is excellent, and he made communication effortless. Quick Response: We requested a change of blankets and an extra pillow; he handled...
We were given a suite for 5 people with only 2 single beds, and we were told three futons were in the cupboard and that we had to set them up ourselves. The 3 futons didn’t fit in the room and were very thin. We had to overlap them, and the sheets were too small. The rest of the room was nice, with a nice view of the sea. Overall, the room would have been fine for 2, or 2 + one child, but clearly way...
The hotel provides excellent service with complete facilities. The room was very spacious and had a balcony with a beautiful sea view. There are restaurants, a gashapon game zone, and a relaxing onsen, which made the stay very comfortable. All the staff were kind, polite, attentive, and always smiling, making us feel very welcome. We stayed for two nights and felt so comfortable that we wished we...
Great quality for its price. Has a spacious onsen and Sauna. The Breakfast worth its price. Supermarket (Topvalu) and pharmacy are within walking distance, same as train station. The room has regular fridge, microwave oven, and washing machine is a plus. The Breakfast buffet is great, and do have variety that my stay for 2 days has different variety. But the Wifi is horrible during rush hour as it...
10 mins walking distance from the JR station but you can easily walk without taxi. It is located pretty quiet area and nearby Omori beach. They do have good breakfast. I arrived early and the staff kindly stored my luggage for me. They even provided...
The hotel is a bit far from Hakodate Station and the main city attractions, but the room was quite clean and the price was very reasonable. I accidentally lost my key card and had to pay a 2000 yen replacement fee, but overall it was a good stay.
The location is superb, and we found a fantastic value-for-money wagyu set menu not far from the hotel. The snow scenery combined with the Japanese garden offered a unique charm.
Kudos to this hotel. My stay there was amazing. The hotel is close to streetcar station, but during winter it still pretty challenging to pull your luggage. That is expected situation for any hotel in Hokkaido 😆. The receptionist was really helpful. She help to call taxi for me when I don’t know how to do so.
The hotel was very clean. Breakfast was decent. Location was very convenient for sightseeing.
The room was excellent, and the three beds were very comfortable. For a city hotel focused on convenience, it offers great value for money. Getting to Hakodate Station is relatively easy, though it's about a 20-minute drive away.

The hotel is a bit far from the station. It would be easier if you could take the tram there during the snowy winter. There are McDonald's, convenience stores and drugstores on the street from the hotel. The service staff are very friendly. Alcoholic drinks (before 9pm) and soft drinks are also provided in the lobby. It is a bit difficult to open and pack the suitcases in the single room. , the hotel...
It's a little far from the station, but the hotel facilities are very new, and there are free drinks downstairs. In addition, I feel that the large bath is comfortable, but a bit too hot.
The hotel is clean, the location is good, and the breakfast is delicious!! It is convenient to use the hot springs, and the parking lot is large, so it is convenient and good to park.
Our stay at the super hotel was pleasantly surprising. The beds were clean, comfortable and neat and the Onsen is small but perfect for a short soak. The drinks in the lobby we’re a nice touch and even better was the bar in the evening where we could help ourselves to Sake and liquor until 9pm. The breakfast was definitely a highlight with delicious miso, fish and rice made fresh in the morning. Most...

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Hokke Club Hakodate. The location was very convenient, with easy access to public transportation and nearby attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I especially appreciated the large public bath, which was perfect after a long day of sightseeing. The staff were polite, professional, and always...
The room size is standard for Japan. There is a man-made hot spring with a good variety of shampoo and bath products available. The breakfast is standard—nothing special, but decent overall. Only one type of sashimi (squid) is offered. A convenience store is located right next door, just 1–2 minutes’ walk away, which is very convenient.
It is what you can expected for 3 stars hotel at the price point. Close to Goryokaku and Lucky Pierrot . There are also plenty of shops and restaurants around the hotel.
The hotel's exterior and front desk feel a little old-fashioned, but the staff's service and the atmosphere of the hallways and rooms are good. It's a shame that there is no open-air bath or sauna, but I'm grateful that the hotel has a hot spring. I'd definitely stay at this hotel again if I could book it at a good price.
Having a large public bath is a big plus. A trip to Hokkaido in the cold winter wouldn't be complete without a large public bath. The breakfast was also very generous. Hakodate will definitely be on my list of places to visit again.

The hotel is right by the sea, and you can see the ocean from both the rooms and the restaurant. The lobby on the ground floor is beautiful, and the staff are very friendly. The large public bath was not crowded, and soaking in it during snowy weather was incredibly comfortable.
Stayed in Tatami Room with fabulous sea view. Food was delicious, generous and variety buffet for bfast and dinner. Recommended. Value for price. Easy assess with bus ride but need to check on the timing.
The hotel is superb!! Love the spacious and cleanliness! We checked in early to enjoy the room and onsen. The breakfast was delicious and many varieties provided. Enjoy my meal and stay with great ocean view. Love the Japanese style bed room.
I booked a Japanese-style room with meals included, and the food was quite plentiful. The ocean-view room offered a view of the sea, but you couldn't access the beach directly. The hotel seems a bit old, but the service was really good.
The breakfast was terrible, like pre-made meals. There was hardly any decent food, and it was exactly the same for two days straight, with no changes to the dishes at all. The Wi-Fi was extremely unstable, constantly losing signal and speed. The room felt old and was cramped for two people. Although a bit dated, the hotel is well-maintained. It's very quiet with few tourists, and the rooftop hot spring is a nice bonus. Both breakfast and dinner are served at the new building across the street, which was a great experience. It's also very close to the zoo and botanical garden, and getting to JR station by taxi is super convenient.
This was the last lodging on my Hokkaido trip. I chose a 10-tatami room. It was very spacious and clean, and even with two futons laid out, there was still plenty of room around, making it easy to pack and relax. The hot spring on the top floor was also spacious, with hot, normal, and lukewarm water options available in the inner bath, and just one normal-temperature bath in the open-air bath. The...
I really enjoyed this hot spring hotel. On Mondays, it was so crowded that the entire place was practically reserved. It's said that the former shogunate soldier, Hijikata, bathed there. The water is a saline spring. The dinner was rich and delicious, especially the stew. It was perfect for enjoying a leisurely meal while looking out at the sea.
h is very quiet and clean. This time I stayed in a tatami room. The view outside is also good. You can see the sea. There is a hot spring on one side, which should have some therapeutic effect. From inside, you can see the scenery of the surrounding city, so it is not so isolated.
It has a nice onsen, loved it. Entrance is big and it has own big parking area front of the hotel which was very comfortable.

The indoor public bath on the 1st floor has poor ventilation, while the rooms are generally okay. For our wedding anniversary, we've been staying in Hakodate for a few nights annually since last year. A comfortable stay. It's very close to the airport. The hot springs on the 1st and 8th floors, though compact, felt very well-appointed. Amenities were plentiful. We had a lot of fun playing table tennis after soaking in the hot spring. You can even spot monkeys from the tropical botanical garden right from the accommodation, which was amusing! :)
The stunning ocean view was incredibly relaxing. The foot bath directly faces the sea, offering a breathtaking vista. The rooftop outdoor hot spring was quite small, which was a bit disappointing. The glass panels were murky and stained, and we could clearly see the rooftops of nearby buildings, which were uncomfortably close, so privacy was a significant concern. The location is good, near JR station, just 5 to 10 minutes walk. Tram station is just in front of the hotel. 5 minutes walk to the ‘Morning seafood’ market. The price is good, so the room is small. We stayed here last minute due to some transport cancellations. The location was fantastic, right next to the station. Room was basic but very comfortable. The staff were friendly. Really enjoyed the outdoor bath while the snow fell.
This hotel is right next to Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto JR Station, making it perfect for a layover when traveling by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Hakodate. It's a business hotel, but the facilities and service are excellent, and they even have a hot spring bath.

The facilities, the food, it was amazing. I just wished that the snow would have came earlier this year. I did not get to snowboard as planned infront of the hotel. Hotel itself is 10/10. Overall due to no snow, a 8/10.
You can book a pick-up and drop-off service. The price of one night's accommodation with two meals is quite reasonable. You can enjoy hot springs and snow activities. It's a great resort! It's a bit of a shame that skiing won't open until after December 25th!
