La Vista Hakodate Bay, Hakodate1 / 30
9.1
Hakodate, 12-6 Toyokawacho (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
My only complaint is that reception staff can learn to speak some English especially when the hotel is full of tourists from various countries. The room is rather small and crammed even for a solo traveller
The hotel staff were very welcoming, and the rooftop onsen was incredibly relaxing. The location is absolutely superb, right next to Hakodate's major attractions, and there's a food court downstairs
The hotel is not far from the station, about an 8-9 minute walk, and they offer a shuttle service to the station. The breakfast was incredibly lavish, with everything you could possibly want
My room faced Mount Hakodate, offering a fantastic view. The hotel breakfast was very extensive, with lots of seafood, though I'm not used to eating it. Overall, it was a great experience!
A fantastic hotel, especially beautiful view , the free ramen at 10 pm and the amazing breakfast buffet. The only problem is the small rooms, but that's typical of Japanese hotels.
Fantastic experience! The breakfast was delicious, and the late-night ramen was a real treat. The open-air onsen was great, and the view from the window was beautiful

Fantastic hotel located very centrally to a lot of shops and amenities nearby. Beautiful decor in the hotel, giving a homely and welcoming vibe. Hotel has hot springs which is a plus. But the gym can be better equipped
Worth a stay to experience Another 10 mins walking distance to the Red Brick House 🏠 for awesome retail shopping spree 🛒🛍️ to buy the local 🇯🇵 Hokkaido delights & savour local cuisine
The Hakodate Morning Market is right across the street with succulent fresh king crab affair feast awaiting 👑 🦀. A must visit destination for all in Sapporo not to be missed 🐙🦀🪼🦞🐠🦐🐳
The room offers a stunning view of Hakodate Bay, and the facilities are quite new and spacious. The breakfast buffet was absolutely perfect and very rich
A great overnight luxury transit hotel within 7 - 8 mins walking distance from JR Hakodate. Good service rendered by friendly highly trained staff
Plus, it's conveniently located right next to the Hakodate Morning Market and JR Hakodate Station

Hakodate, 21-3, Wakamatsu-cho (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Excellent! This place is right across from the train station and next to the bus terminal. **Facilities:** There's a coffee machine on the first floor and a hot spring on the fifth
The location is super convenient! It's less than a 5-minute walk to the subway station, which is a huge plus, especially when you're lugging suitcases around in the winter
The morning market is just across the street. **Service:** The front desk service was excellent. I'd definitely stay here again on my next visit
The location is very convenient, and the hot springs are so relaxing! I'll definitely consider staying here again next time I visit Hakodate!
There's a free public bath on the top floor which is great for unwinding after a long day
Staying close to the metro is definitely a must-have for me

Good service and interesting hot bath / onsen in the hotel. There a salt sauna and salt onsen in. Comfortable room and bed too. U can see the hotel once get out from Hakodate station.
The hotel has everything you need, perfect location just 2 minutes away from Hakodate Station. The baths are so relaxing and the staff very professional even when the pricing is reasonable, highly recommended!
The exclusive public bath is awesome especially the out door section. The cold air with the warm clay bath felt great after a day of traveling on trains. The staff were really friendly and English speaking
This place is awesome !!!! It’s new everything is clean and still nice !!! It’s a great value and conveniently located near the train station, it next to a super market
Super-duper breakfast. Maybe WBF means Wonderful BreakFast!? Simply excellent. Room small but normal for city centers.
I booked this last minute but might just stay for another night cause I really like it here !!

Hakodate, 11-10 Honcho (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Located near Goryokaku Park, it's a convenient location for sightseeing. There's also the Hakodate Shio Ramen restaurant "Ajisai" and the hamburger restaurant "Lucky Pierrot" nearby, which was very convenient.
It was nice not having to worry about parking. Next time, I'd like to try their breakfast. Also, it would have been nice to have a room with a good view of Goryokaku.
All the facilities were very clean and well-maintained. It was a very pleasant stay.
The hotel staff were very unfriendly. They didn't offer any helpful assistance, which was very disappointing. The air conditioning also smelled musty.
I used it for business purposes. The location was easy to rent, which was great.
The hotel had a great location, and the room was clean and comfortable. Being close to the entertainment district meant there were plenty of izakayas (Japanese pubs) to enjoy!

Other reviews said "the buffet menu for dinner and breakfast is the same", so I paid attention, but the original number of lunch menus is enough, and for breakfast I eat side dishes and sashimi in the morning
It was a great stay at the hotel even though it is not very near to the main tourist area. Overall very pleasant experience with all the facilities provided and small gifts in the suite room
One of the best hotel we ever stayed in Japan. scallop and unlimited snow crab provided by hotel. Onsen is top especially the outdoor pool which overlooking the sea. Must stay if anyone plan to go Hakodate
Will definitely go back again for next visit to Hakodate
My husband and I have stayed at this hotel many times, and what truly makes our stay special every single time is the incredible hospitality of the Restaurant Manager, Mr
It's a pity that there is no sauna in the bathhouse, but I was satisfied with the open-air bathhouse with a good view of the sea. Dinner is mainly served with seafood. I think it's a paradise for seafood lovers

Hakodate, 2-4-20 Yunokawa-cho (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Excellent value for money, the room was great, highly recommended, breakfast and dinner were just enough to fill you up, it's an old hotel.
I stayed at a ryokan with a private hot spring in the room. I used the public bath as well, but I especially liked the private hot spring
All the staff were friendly, and it was even better that the front desk remembered my face
The room and meals were excellent, but the building was so cold that I caught a cold. The room was far from the baths and restaurant, so I got chilled while walking there
I would definitely want to avoid going during the colder months
I stayed in a room with an open-air bath. It was a nice, quiet room where I could relax. The open-air bath was also excellent, so I was very satisfied

Has a spacious onsen and Sauna. The Breakfast worth its price. Supermarket (Topvalu) and pharmacy are within walking distance, same as train station
I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Global View Hakodate. While the hotel provides the reliable comfort you’d expect from a 3-star property, the service is what truly stands out
Stayed with other family members and I received a lot of compliments about the breakfast(especially old parents, a uncle and an aunt). Although it's a bit old, it was a hotel with good service and a cozy atmosphere
Quick Response: We requested a change of blankets and an extra pillow; he handled this instantly and followed up to ensure we were comfortable
Clear Communication: He took the time to explain all the hotel facilities and procedures very clearly, which we really appreciated
There are restaurants, a gashapon game zone, and a relaxing onsen, which made the stay very comfortable. All the staff were kind, polite, attentive, and always smiling, making us feel very welcome

The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I especially appreciated the large public bath, which was perfect after a long day of sightseeing
The staff were polite, professional, and always ready to help with a warm smile. Breakfast offered a great variety of local dishes, and everything was delicious
Overall, the hotel exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely stay there again when visiting Hakodate
The room size is standard for Japan. There is a man-made hot spring with a good variety of shampoo and bath products available. The breakfast is standard—nothing special, but decent overall
If you're not driving, the hotel's location isn't ideal. It's pretty much a standard business hotel. If I hadn't booked so late, I'm sure I could've found something with better value for money
new hotel with good breakfast location just OK because far from JR hakodate but near Goryukaku koen mae , it's east to use tram no.2,5 for go anywhere.

Facilities: Excellent! My friend enjoyed the public hot spring, and the facilities and views were great. Both the room and the lobby were clean and bright. Environment: The room view was fantastic! Unbeatable sea view
The hotel is superb!! Love the spacious and cleanliness! We checked in early to enjoy the room and onsen. The breakfast was delicious and many varieties provided. Enjoy my meal and stay with great ocean view
Stayed in Tatami Room with fabulous sea view. Food was delicious, generous and variety buffet for bfast and dinner. Recommended. Value for price. Easy assess with bus ride but need to check on the timing.
Compared to some much more expensive hotels I've stayed at, the service here was even better! I was a bit worried about the service after reading some reviews, but it was absolutely unfounded
The hotel is right by the sea, and you can see the ocean from both the rooms and the restaurant. The lobby on the ground floor is beautiful, and the staff are very friendly
The large public bath was not crowded, and soaking in it during snowy weather was incredibly comfortable

Experience the onsen in here, the onsen bath is good. When i visit there are not many people. You could rent a towel on the receptionist if you dont bring.
I stayed here for an event at Hakodate Arena. It was great that it was close, and the hotel, rooms, and food were all great.
The food was satisfying, but the hot spring was lukewarm, which was disappointing.
I stayed here for one night on a collaborative tour between Hankyu Travel International and Noguchi Kanko. It is located in Yunokawa, across the street from a drug store and next to a Lawson
It is a large inn with a hot spring. There is also an open-air bath, which you can use anytime. There were also high school students staying there on a school trip. Both dinner and breakfast were buffet style
We were traveling with our child (1 year old). The food was more delicious than we expected, and they even had curry for kids. However, it was extremely hot in the room

The shuttle bus to Hakodate Airport passes right next to Kaiyotei. It costs 300 yen in advance and transportation IC cards cannot be used. Payment can be made by cash or credit card
Good: The staff at Haiyokan were very accommodating. Although I used public transportation, the bus stop was conveniently close. There are also two convenience stores nearby
This time I stayed in a tatami room. The view outside is also good. There is a hot spring on one side, which should have some therapeutic effect
Bad: The buffet for both breakfast and dinner was at a different hotel across the street, which was inconvenient as we had to go outside. The staff there weren't as good
It was cold during Golden Week even in the mornings and evenings, so it would be tough in winter
Also, they often couldn't keep up with demand; many dishes and even cutlery were unavailable when we went to get food. The room cleaning wasn't thorough; there were hairs in the bathroom and dust in several spots

Although our room also offered a good view, the lovely evening breeze enticed us to enjoy the beautiful fireworks from outside. We are also very grateful for the thoughtful attentiveness from the front desk staff
Facilities: Both the rooms and public areas are thoughtfully designed. The coffee area in the lobby, in particular, is a very comfortable spot to sit, gaze at the sea, and simply relax
Hygiene: Clean and tidy, which is reassuring. Environment: Located by the sea, it's very pleasant to soak in the hot springs while enjoying the ocean view
It's also very close to the Tropical Botanical Garden, right outside the door. A taxi ride to Hakodate Station only takes about ten minutes
For our wedding anniversary, we've been staying in Hakodate for a few nights annually since last year
Service: Attentive yet respectful of personal space, making for a very comfortable experience

The onsens available are fantastic. The negative aspect: it is a fifteen minutes drive to the town centre, Kamenori or fish market. They should separate the food collection area from the hotel rooms
Extremely convenient for the airport, the hotel itself is a bus stop! The breakfast was also delicious, perfect for a quick bite before heading to the morning market, haha.
I also loved both the breakfast buffet and the dinner set — they truly pampered me like I was the queen of the world. The public onsen is beautiful and huge. I will forever choose to stay here whenever I’m in the area
Located right next to the team stop, this hotel is a gem with 2 onsen areas located on Levels 1 and 7 of the property. There is a good variety of food for breakfast with some ingredients to make your own seafood bowl
The location is excellent, only about a 3-minute walk from the tram station, which makes getting around very easy. There are also many restaurants nearby, so finding food is never a problem
The positive aspect: front counter staff can speak English. 2 at ground floor and 2 at seven floor. Parking is available just beside he hotel. There is a Lawson’s convenient store nearby

The hotel is a bit far from the station. It would be easier if you could take the tram there during the snowy winter. There are McDonald's, convenience stores and drugstores on the street from the hotel
It's a little far from the station, but the hotel facilities are very new, and there are free drinks downstairs. In addition, I feel that the large bath is comfortable, but a bit too hot.
The service staff are very friendly. Alcoholic drinks (before 9pm) and soft drinks are also provided in the lobby. It is a bit difficult to open and pack the suitcases in the single room
The hotel is clean, the location is good, and the breakfast is delicious!! It is convenient to use the hot springs, and the parking lot is large, so it is convenient and good to park.
It's about a 10-15 minute walk from Hakodate Station, which is acceptable. There's a tram stop next to it, so it's quick to go see the night view or other attractions by train
Our stay at the super hotel was pleasantly surprising. The beds were clean, comfortable and neat and the Onsen is small but perfect for a short soak

The hot spring service is also quite commendable. If you go with a family, book a room by the sea. In fact, it is very cost-effective. One room can accommodate 4~5 people, and then looking at the seaside is very good
This is the hotel we changed from the chain hotel at the station. Because there is a hot spring here. It is only one stop from the airport to the hotel, and even if you take a taxi, it is only 50 RMB
There is a very convenient bus stop at the door of the hotel, and it takes about 30 minutes to get to the city. The hotel's breakfast is very rich and you can eat it every day
The service staff is very friendly, breakfast is also very rich and delicious The sea view outside the room window is relaxing
However, the room facilities are old and the toilet is not smart. Can you believe that Japanese public toilets are all smart, but the toilet in this hotel is not smart. I went there in winter and it was cold
The rooms are a bit old, but the front desk, dining area, and hot springs have all been renovated. The open-air bath, where you can listen to the sound of the waves, is also quite nice.

This is an excellent option if you need an overnight stay between train rides or picking up a rental car near Hakodate. Easy train access to Hakodate city if you want to visit
Very cozy and clean place. Staff was very welcoming and kind. There’s places to eat, shop, and get dessert. Plus it’s a one minute walk from the train station!
Very nice hotel, the size of the room is bigger compared to other hotel rooms in Japan. The location is superb, very close to Shin Hakodate Hokuto Station

The front desk service was excellent, and the room was spacious and comfortable. However, there were some large black bugs in the hot spring water in the public bath. Luckily, I noticed them early and wasn't bitten
A typical hot spring hotel, a bit far from the city center, but the rooms have private hot spring baths, which is very convenient! The service was excellent, the environment was nice, and the breakfast was thoughtfully prepared! Recommended!
After your bath, you can also enjoy complimentary snacks, ice cream, and drinks (orange juice, water, beer) at the Sky Lounge outside the onsen, all while taking in the superb views of Hakodate city
Booked the room with a private onsen and it was an amazing experience! The staff there are also warm and welcoming. Soe showed us our room and patiently explained the different opening hours for lounge and cafe
The rooftop indoor and outdoor onsen are absolutely amazing! The indoor pool is very large and long, and in the open-air bath, you can even feel planes flying overhead – a truly unforgettable experience! 2
It's a first-class indulgence! 3. The room also comes with its own private onsen bath, which is generously sized – easily big enough for two people to enjoy together!

It was the easiest I've ever understood during my trip to Japan! The room was very clean, the food was good, the staff was very welcoming, and I loved being able to watch the sunrise from my room
I think it would be nice if the amenities were a little softer! The hot spring water is so good, but. I don't think the amenities make up for it! Especially around the hairline~~

Hotel is a bit far from the City, but the surrounding have a lot of restaurants for dinning! The most disappointing point are no separate air conditioning in the room, only central air conditioning that you cannot control your room temperature, I have to ask for a fan, the other disappointment is the structure or the floor of the hotel was too thin, you can hear your neighbours from above floor and...
It is absolutely family friendly. I saw families playing bingo scratch games in the hall and kids were super happy. The Chinese lady working in front desk is very friendly and helpful
- there is game arcade too kid likes it - good service - Reasonable price What we don’t like: - Food: we bought breakfast and dinner, dinner portion was huge (2-3 times to what my family normally eat) but quality is so so, I’d rather have fewer but higher quality
After two days we skipped dinner and went out for dinning. Breakfast finishes at 9am which is early and not to my like, we prefer western style more - Clean: the wood cabin is not so clean…
The facilities, the food, it was amazing. I just wished that the snow would have came earlier this year. I did not get to snowboard as planned infront of the hotel. Hotel itself is 10/10. Overall due to no snow, a 8/10.
