Hakodate Kokusai Hotel, Hakodate1 / 30
8.8
Hakodate, 5-10 Otemachi (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Loved the hotel! He lobby is very wide and welcoming, and very well decorated. The room was very spacious, and I especially loved the view of Mount Hakodate from my window
I loved the onsen and lounge on the top floor of the main wing, too! They also have free mini popsicles in the lounge. I recommend the milk popsicles
The hotel also provides onsen facilities, which are a great addition—though I didn’t get the opportunity to try them during my stay. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience
I heard great things about the breakfast, but I didn't get a chance to try it myself. The surrounding area is very convenient
The hotel boasts a stylish interior and a beautiful sky lounge offering stunning night views of Hakodate
You get to choose between 2 restaurants - buffet or Japanese dining. We stayed 2 night so we get to try both. I personally prefer the buffet as the variety and quality of food is really good

Hakodate, 12-6 Toyokawacho (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
My only complaint is that reception staff can learn to speak some English especially when the hotel is full of tourists from various countries. The room is rather small and crammed even for a solo traveller
The hotel staff were very welcoming, and the rooftop onsen was incredibly relaxing. The location is absolutely superb, right next to Hakodate's major attractions, and there's a food court downstairs
The hotel is not far from the station, about an 8-9 minute walk, and they offer a shuttle service to the station. The breakfast was incredibly lavish, with everything you could possibly want
My room faced Mount Hakodate, offering a fantastic view. The hotel breakfast was very extensive, with lots of seafood, though I'm not used to eating it. Overall, it was a great experience!
A fantastic hotel, especially beautiful view , the free ramen at 10 pm and the amazing breakfast buffet. The only problem is the small rooms, but that's typical of Japanese hotels.
Fantastic experience! The breakfast was delicious, and the late-night ramen was a real treat. The open-air onsen was great, and the view from the window was beautiful

Hakodate, 22-13 Otemachi (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Fantastic hotel located very centrally to a lot of shops and amenities nearby. Beautiful decor in the hotel, giving a homely and welcoming vibe. Hotel has hot springs which is a plus. But the gym can be better equipped
Lastly, the breakfast is fabulous, which is one of the main highlights of the hotel
If you’re looking to do hot bath, this hotel probably affords the widest variety of types of baths (hot, cold, sulfuric) available. I even saw a famous Japanese rock star go here to do his spa treatment
Worth a stay to experience Another 10 mins walking distance to the Red Brick House 🏠 for awesome retail shopping spree 🛒🛍️ to buy the local 🇯🇵 Hokkaido delights & savour local cuisine
The Hakodate Morning Market is right across the street with succulent fresh king crab affair feast awaiting 👑 🦀. A must visit destination for all in Sapporo not to be missed 🐙🦀🪼🦞🐠🦐🐳
The room offers a stunning view of Hakodate Bay, and the facilities are quite new and spacious. The breakfast buffet was absolutely perfect and very rich

Hakodate, 21-3 Wakamatsuchō (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Excellent! This place is right across from the train station and next to the bus terminal. **Facilities:** There's a coffee machine on the first floor and a hot spring on the fifth
The location is super convenient! It's less than a 5-minute walk to the subway station, which is a huge plus, especially when you're lugging suitcases around in the winter
The morning market is just across the street. **Service:** The front desk service was excellent. I'd definitely stay here again on my next visit
The location is very convenient, and the hot springs are so relaxing! I'll definitely consider staying here again next time I visit Hakodate!
There's a free public bath on the top floor which is great for unwinding after a long day
Staying close to the metro is definitely a must-have for me

Hakodate, 23D, Street N2, Dong Nhi, Lai Thieu (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Super-duper breakfast. Maybe WBF means Wonderful BreakFast!? Simply excellent. Room small but normal for city centers.
The hotel has everything you need, perfect location just 2 minutes away from Hakodate Station. The baths are so relaxing and the staff very professional even when the pricing is reasonable, highly recommended!
The exclusive public bath is awesome especially the out door section. The cold air with the warm clay bath felt great after a day of traveling on trains. The staff were really friendly and English speaking
Good service and interesting hot bath / onsen in the hotel. There a salt sauna and salt onsen in. Comfortable room and bed too. U can see the hotel once get out from Hakodate station.
This place is awesome !!!! It’s new everything is clean and still nice !!! It’s a great value and conveniently located near the train station, it next to a super market
I booked this last minute but might just stay for another night cause I really like it here !!

Premier Hotel - Cabin President - Hakodate, Hakodate1 / 30
9.2
Hakodate, 14-10 Wakamatsu-cho (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel had a Cafe - complimentary access for Premier guests - at the top floor. View of Hakodate from room was amazing. Breakfast had a decent selection of eastern and Japanese style cuisines
Hotel is conveniently located just across Hakodate JR Station and nearby the bus terminal and local tram stop
Downstairs had a convenience (drug) store which has all sorts of meds that you may need; nearby are quite a number of eateries to choose from including a Lucky Pierrot outlet as well - this one seems to be larger so we didn’t need to queue
The bathroom lightings is the brightest that I've come across so far which is good. Basic amenities and dated hotel
On the ground floor there is shop that sells Japanese goods for tourist and traveller with Tax Free handling
Amazing hotel, great location (literally next to the station). The breakfast was the best I have had in a hotel in years. I strongly recommend!! Also the bar (with view) was worth trying

Hakodate, Omori-cho 25-3 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
There are restaurants, a gashapon game zone, and a relaxing onsen, which made the stay very comfortable. All the staff were kind, polite, attentive, and always smiling, making us feel very welcome
I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Global View Hakodate. While the hotel provides the reliable comfort you’d expect from a 3-star property, the service is what truly stands out
Quick Response: We requested a change of blankets and an extra pillow; he handled this instantly and followed up to ensure we were comfortable
The hotel provides excellent service with complete facilities. The room was very spacious and had a balcony with a beautiful sea view
Clear Communication: He took the time to explain all the hotel facilities and procedures very clearly, which we really appreciated
The Room: The room was clean, well-maintained, and exactly what you expect from a quality 3-star hotel in Japan

Super Hotel Hakodate, Hakodate1 / 25
8.4
Hakodate, 1-10, Matsukaze-cho (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel is a bit far from the station. It would be easier if you could take the tram there during the snowy winter. There are McDonald's, convenience stores and drugstores on the street from the hotel
It's a little far from the station, but the hotel facilities are very new, and there are free drinks downstairs. In addition, I feel that the large bath is comfortable, but a bit too hot.
The service staff are very friendly. Alcoholic drinks (before 9pm) and soft drinks are also provided in the lobby. It is a bit difficult to open and pack the suitcases in the single room
The hotel is clean, the location is good, and the breakfast is delicious!! It is convenient to use the hot springs, and the parking lot is large, so it is convenient and good to park.
It's about a 10-15 minute walk from Hakodate Station, which is acceptable. There's a tram stop next to it, so it's quick to go see the night view or other attractions by train
Our stay at the super hotel was pleasantly surprising. The beds were clean, comfortable and neat and the Onsen is small but perfect for a short soak

This meant checking out at 11 AM the day before, leaving my luggage at the front desk, going out for four hours, and then returning to the hotel at 3 PM to check in again, which was quite inconvenient
It's close to the beach, and there are good restaurants nearby. Overall, if you don't have super high expectations, it's a very good value hotel. I especially loved the hotel breakfast; it was so delicious!
The hotel's location is quite good, close to both Hakodate Station and the airport. You can walk to the station, and a taxi to the airport isn't overly expensive
Aside from feeling a bit dim, everything else was pretty good. It seems there's a microwave on every floor, which is very convenient. However, it's a bit of a walk from the JR station, but there's a McDonald's nearby
Oven is stated at certain floor, vending machine and laundry all at different floor. Lobby has a lot thing to pass time, since it's raining and snow at the same time. But I can't read Japanese comic
A bit distance to walk from station. Even if u take a tram, still walk a small distance. Because is winter time, I have hard time walking the icy water. Hotel is good, Very big room, nice

Fantastic location. 5 minutes from Hakodate station. Surrounded by great places to eat and drink. Will definitely stay here again.
Good customer service The staff is very friendly and helpful. We are facing some connecting flight issue. The staff member, who is called Kan, was trying to call and check with airlines.
The city tram stops right in front of the hotel making it convenient to reach the two major tourist areas within a few minutes
Close to the train station and morning market. Staff speaks English and was very courteous. The room was larger than expected
Apa Hotel is really great. I'll definitely stay there again!

The staff very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is good and healthy. The room is spacious enough for me with my medium luggage 🧳. The bed is comfortable to sleep in the night
The room was a bit small, but it's very close to Hakodate JR Station, which you can see from the window and is about a 5-minute walk away
The hotel is also very near Hakodate Morning Market, roughly 100m away, and there's a tram stop right outside. The breakfast was good, and the price in January was very cheap, offering excellent value for money
This is a budget hotel that is located near the station. Although I say budget, they do have complimentary breakfast with a few items changing every day. I like their breakfast buffet because it is healthy
The location is good, near JR station, just 5 to 10 minutes walk. Tram station is just in front of the hotel. 5 minutes walk to the ‘Morning seafood’ market. The price is good, so the room is small
Nice to stay in the Comfort Hotel Hakodate. The location is very best, just a walk to the Hakodate station and Hakodate eki mae trem. Just a minute going to Hakodate Morning Market and 1

The service was excellent and the room was very spacious. The bathtub was smart – you just press a button and it automatically fills up and stops. There was also a microwave, which was great! The hygiene was good too.
Room was clean and there is daily cleaning if you ask for it. Cooking utensils are available though no condiments provided. The bath system is electronic and took a while to figure out how to use it
The hotel is a 6-minute walk from the station. The room is spacious and very clean, perfect for Chinese travelers. It has a microwave and cooking utensils, so you can prepare your own meals
This is an excellent 4-star hotel to stay in Hokadate. Almost as good as the 5-stars but at the 3+star price. Rooms are big and clean and the staff is friendly and helpful
I stayed in a D-Fourth Non smoking room on the 8th floor. The room has a nice view of Mount Hakodate from the balcony and a view of the port from the bedroom window
The bathtub was large and I could really relax in the warm water. It's also conveniently located near the station and a convenience store, which was great.

Pleasantly surprised that the hotel provided a free phone with internet access during stay! Fast and hassle free check in and out! Good location and reasonably priced! Recommended ?
Probably. It's too cozy. It's an old hotel, but it feels homey. The seafood bowl for breakfast is also good. I think
Small and old, I chose a non-smoking room, but the corridor was full of cigarette smell, very bad experience

Family travel accommodation for 2 nights, breakfast and dinner are provided free of charge. The service is warm and thoughtful, the Japanese house is clean and tidy, and the clerk helped me order it on the last morning
it's beautiful, safe and silence hotel but there's only one cloth dry machine so we have to wait all night to clean and dry it
Very frendly and clean hotel. All staff are helping and frendly.Thank you for everything.
Pros: - Beside of convenient store - Reasonable price - Near goryokaku park (even tough i was not going there) - Private bathroom Cons: - No breakfast (for some guest) - Small room - Far from JR station however it's still near to tram station
It was a normal hotel, don’t expect big & luxury hotel room. But toilets are clean. Pro: Easy access to Goryokaku Free parking Internal renovated Normal price beer vending machine Cons: Old building Restaurant/ Food
Because I booked a smoking room, it seems to be in an old hotel, so the equipment is older, and the smell of oil smoke from the restaurant will spread to the corridor of the room, but the room is clean

The location is extremely convenient: very close to the JR station, with a tram stop right downstairs, and a convenience store directly opposite. Breakfast was also excellent, featuring freshly grilled large scallops.
This hotel was absolutely perfect for the price, exceeding all my expectations! The lobby bar on the first floor offers complimentary hot drinks, and it seems there's even a gym available for use
The hotel is conveniently located just 300 meters from JR Hakodate Station, with easy access to major attractions like Goryokaku Park, Tachimachi Cape, Hachiman-zaka Slope, and Hakodateyama Observation Deck via tram and bus
Hakodate Morning Market and Kanemori Red Brick Warehouses are within walking distance, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The hotel's facilities are well-maintained, and the bedding is excellent
Breakfast offers a good variety of Japanese and Western options, and the food is delicious. There are plenty of shops and restaurants around JR Station. The front desk staff are welcoming and patient

cheap! Bedrock bath is the best! ! Yonaki soba is also great! It's super hot with a coupon that can be used at the Seicomart next door! ! Because it is far from the city center, it is essential to use the streetcar, but it was a wonderful little-known hotel
About 20 minutes walk from the station. It's fine except for the smell of cigarettes in the bathroom. There is a large bath, but I was too tired to go. It's a cheap and good place to stay near Hakodate Station.
The room was outdated, but it was clean and the letter was nice. It was the best little-known spot hotel. I definitely want to use it again!
I had cold tanuki soba. It was a very good 28 soba. There is also a daily lunch, and I think it's a little-known spot. However, the inside of the store is too dark and it is difficult to find the menu (laughs)
Pleasant and homely, with a public bath - the room was adequately furnished and they even provided a free phone. Heater could've been a little more efficient.
The location is very good. Hotel is a bit old but clean. No food service, which is a bit disappoint. In general is Ok.

Since it is centrally air-conditioned, the heating is very warm (hot)
There are hot springs, restaurants, and food stores nearby, so it's convenient (by car). Breakfast had squid sashimi like Hakodate. The grilled fish was not salty and was plump and delicious
I am grateful for the detailed consideration of the staff. It feels very good to see the sea outside from the big window. I was able to stay quietly and comfortably
I stayed at this hotel with a Japanese-style room because my child had a bad sleep. It was spacious, but the passage to the bath and toilet was narrow
Hokkaido is a very unique city, and this is a very cost-effective hotel. Outside the window is the Sea of Japan, and you can see many seagulls

It said breakfast was a buffet, so I booked through this site instead of other sites that offered even cheaper rates for rooms without meals, but when I actually stayed there, all I got was a 200 yen coupon for a breakfast at the nearby McDonald's
You will surprise that in dinner time they provide free alcohol drink including osake . They also have coffee machine  They have onsen small one as well. The price is incredible cheap compared to place surrounding.
First of all, it's extremely well located. Secondly, there's a bar with all kinds of free drinks, as well as towels, toothbrushes, etc. , and a snack bar with noodles and small snacks (more than enough for a meal)
It was a very satisfying experience, with a large public bath, sauna, free drink bar, one free mask, and noodles for dinner. I didn't get breakfast, but I got it for free as part of a promotion
The self-service drink area had a great variety, they even offered three different types of alcohol!
It was buffet style and I think the selection was more extensive than other capsule hotels

Would not hesitate to recommend
Didn't pay attention it was a smoker room so it's my bad. But other wise it's what you need to sleep and shower nothing more nothing less. Close the the train station with lot of restaurant nearby.
This time, I was assigned a smoking room, and as soon as I entered, I felt it was incredibly smelly. I wanted to switch to a non-smoking room, but the hotel was fully booked that night, so there were no rooms available
It was very windy that night, almost snowing, but even after nearly an hour, the smoke smell was still very strong. I also tried using a spray, almost an entire can, but it didn't improve anything
I had to catch a 6 AM JR train. They had already prepared some breakfast, but refused to serve it before 6:30 AM. This is a negative point. Will I get a refund for the breakfast cost?
Quite comfortable, stuff is really nice and friendly, it’s really convenient that it’s okay to leave all your luggage there for a day even if you already checked out
