Cleanliness was so so, food for dinner was great. Breakfast was repetitive. Welcome drink was nice.
Service staff in restaurant and cafe 👍..
Love the hotel environment, clean and nice. The room is very spacious and most importantly the location is strategic - just within few minutes walk to the supermarket and restaurant.
Good location near the train station and the morning market. Room was reasonably comfortable but a little dated. Our room was non-smoking but the room (and the hallway) smelled of smoke.
I like the tatami room and the sea view. The hot spring is very enjoyable and relaxing and the night view is very beautiful. The buffet breakfast is super nice.😋🥰
Fantastic hotel with a great onsen on top floor. The rooms are big and clean. Good cafe and dining place.
The breakfast buffet was great with lots of food choices. Room was spacious.

The room is very spacious, and a large suitcase can be spread out easily. The curtains are opaque, and you can't see your hand in front of you when you draw them.
The soundproofing is very good, and I didn't hear any noise (compared to the omo5 in the next two days, which was in silent mode...I regret not staying in lavista all the time)
I used to stay in the main hotel, and I was worried that the...
very nice room! Compared with their another hotel nearby, new one is cleaner and bigger, facilities are better. Downsides are the new one does not have the same Mountain View like the old one. Furthermore, the old one has better breakfast.
Good location with walking distance to JR station, morning market and brick house
Great hotel and pleasant stay, would recommend everyone to try
The breakfast is Great, highly recommend
Second time we've stayed here and it was amazing. Central location a stone's throw from the red brick warehouses, very comfortable rooms, an amazing buffet breakfast and the best rooftop onsen.

This hotel is the best: best harbor view; roomy with three beds and a couch and table. In-room washing machine. On top of all these, the breakfast is the best buffet. D
The hotel is conveniently located just minutes from the JR station. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious options. We particularly enjoyed the spacious and uncrowded rooftop onsen, which was incredibly relaxing. Our room was also very large and spotlessly clean.
The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the buffet breakfast was exceptionally generous, offering a wide variety of options.
The hotel is conveniently located within a 10-minute walk from Hakodate JR Station. The absolute highlight was the incredibly extensive breakfast, offering a wide variety of dishes including ramen and sashimi. Another major plus was the rooftop hot spring (onsen), which boasted fantastic views and was perfect for unwinding. On the same floor as the onsen, there's a snack bar open until 11 PM, where...
This is our second time staying here and this time was better than the first time. We ate dinner here as well and the dinner was not as expensive as I expected. The hotel gave us a 20% discount for dinner. We went to the onsen. Everything went well. The hotel boasts an excellent location, being close to the station and just a 5-minute walk from Hakodate Morning Market, making it incredibly convenient. The hotel has everything you need, perfect location just 2 minutes away from Hakodate Station. The baths are so relaxing and the staff very professional even when the pricing is reasonable, highly recommended!
Place was nice. Good services and an onsen included in room rate. I thought the buffet style breakfast was fairly priced and well made.
Unfortunately did not allow luggage storage after checkout. This was ok at most other hotels I stayed in Japan.
Good service and interesting hot bath / onsen in the hotel. There a salt sauna and salt onsen in. Comfortable room and bed too. U can see the hotel once get out from Hakodate station.
This place is awesome !!!! It’s new everything is clean and still nice !!! It’s a great value and conveniently located near the train station, it next to a super market. The exclusive public bath is awesome especially the out door section. The cold air with the warm clay bath felt great after a day of traveling on trains. Convenient location, small room but warm overall
The front desk staff and breakfast staff served us with a smile and made our stay enjoyable. Thank you very much.
It feels like the same level as the one at Kameoka Station. The air conditioner made an unusual noise and I couldn't sleep. The air volume was very strong and blew right at my head with no place to hide. The space is small, and the 15 square meter mark is definitely fake. Hygiene is a bit poor. The transportation is inconvenient and it is far from convenience stores and supermarkets. The top floor...
The location is great, and it's convenient to have access to convenience stores and restaurants. The rooms and hot springs are great, and the hotel itself is of course wonderful.
The location is OK, but children need to pay for breakfast. Other services are OK.
Goryokaku Park is within walking distance. Ajisai Main Store and Lucky Pierrot are also nearby, so it is very convenient. The hot spring on the top floor is open until 2:00 a.m., and you can take a bath from 5:00 a.m., which is GOOD. There are many kinds of breakfast, so I was very satisfied.

Hakodate, Yunokawa-cho 1-2-25 (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Because I had to return the car at Hakodate Airport the next day, I chose to stay in Yunokawa, which only takes about 10 minutes by car. The hotel has free parking and also provides a buffet breakfast, which is really chill to eat breakfast against the unparalleled sea view. Friendly staff, willing to help, excellent service. Definitely bring my family again.
Enjoy a delicious breakfast facing the sea. It is better to eat earlier, otherwise the sunlight is too glaring. The room is just right for three people, but it would be a bit crowded for four people. Soak in the private hot spring and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
About 10-15mins driving distance from the city center. Parking is located next to it (around 2mins walking distance) where u have to walk through an alley to hotel main door. Perhaps they can install a street light in the alley way or a back door near to parking lots coz it is quite dark and scary to walk alone.
Breakfast is lack of variety but acceptable.
Other than these, overall is satisfied.
Service was extremely warm from the moment they welcomed us into the hotel. Room was nice and the breakfast buffet was amazing with the sea view!
Beautiful hotel on the beach with private onsen and shower on the balcony overlooking the ocean. Also large public onsens available. Short taxi rides away to tourist spots.

About 10mins walk from Hakodate Station, a bit quiet. Good breakfast and Good experience.
Pros: The twin room was roomy, provided the welcome drink with lots of choices (coffee, coke, soda, and wine) and even free ramen between 22:00-24:00. Staff in front desk was friendly .
Cons: at least 10 mins walk to Hakodate station. I ordered non smoking room but still had unpleasant smell (luckily, window can be opened)and the room was not so clean at all.
The hotel facilities are a bit dated, but they offer complimentary late-night noodles, and you can also book table tennis. The breakfast was particularly excellent and high-quality, allowing you to make your own seafood donburi.
The room was spacious and clean. Coming from Tokyo, it felt incredibly roomy; we could easily open two large suitcases on the floor. The hotel is next to the station which is very nice. The rooms are clean and the hotel staff is nice and helpful. My only gripe is the heating... In the winter months you can only choose to heat to at least 20°C or switch it off... But even switched off, the room gets too hot to sleep for my taste. The window is no big help because you can not really open it.
Staying in the only Club Suite of the hotel. Everything is just terrific. A memorable view, spacious and chill ambience plus super convenient location. A superb experience inside the room. Other parts of the hotel is a bit old.
Good location for staying in Hakodate if you are traveling on your own itinerary. It's right next to the morning market, train station and the tram stop. In addition, from time to time, the accommodation will go on discount and make it cheaper than a lot of the options available.

The key location of choosing this large semi-Japanese hotel is the famous Yunokawa hot spring area in Hakodate. First of all, I pointed out that I originally chose Takubokutei because of its reputation and the size of the hotel. This time, we came to my wife's hometown to show her great-grandchildren to her grandmother. It was our first time traveling by plane, so it was quite a challenge, but we were able to relax in the hot springs and eat delicious seafood, and it was a fun memory. The staff were all very friendly, and I'd like to go back next year.
