Villa Concordia Resort & Spa in Hakodate

Everything from the staff, the location, the food and rooms were everything you picture when thinking of a relaxing and pleasant stay for a hotel. Special thank you to the owner whom I got to meet due to unfortunate and unforseen circumstances and went helped above and beyond. I cannot reccomend villa Concordia resort & spa enough, without a doubt the best pick when visiting this lovely city! Thanks again owner & staff! I will be back!

Of all the hotels my family and I stayed during our ten days trip to Sapporo, Otaru and Haneda, this hotel surpassed the rest.

Villa Concordia Resort & Spa, Hokkaido

We were at our last stop a tad apprehensive about this property, various things popped up that made me question our choice!

However this was probably the best stay on this trip!

A 6 storey building, containing just 10 rooms. (2 suites 8 standard rooms) and ours (a suite) was massively huge, 2 rooms with a total of 91sqm, but not just spacious, it had all the amenities one needs for a 5 day stay! Beds were super comfy, the bath had a perfect layout, TV unfortunately no English, WIFI perfect, kitchenette just right for two, and with the seafood market so easily accessible, perfect for us!

Loads of places nearby, trip to the morning & seafood market between 5-10 minutes by car, up the mountain 15 minutes! Just perfect!

The lobby looked a tad crowded but homely, the staff were sensational, helpful all the way! A wonderful place to feel welcome!

Top floor is a restaurant that also has a terrace, we enjoyed the breakfast completely! Staffed by just three , the head of service, a chef & his lady assistant! Chef was already 70, but kept serving the most delightful breakfast one could ask for! The attention to detail was mind boggling! Classic but oh to well prepared & presented!

You had to inform the time you wished to dine, which was new, but easy, it was a one day Western the following Japanese choice! Preset and perfectly balanced!

Parking the car was easy enough, just around the corner, the building itself had no space! But really just a 2 minute walk.

We felt totally relaxed and enjoyed our time here!

Highly recommended, even with kids!

We stayed for 5 days and had room (suite) 502. We enjoyed every aspect of this lovely hotel, for example each morning we had a different breakfast, beautifully prepared and more than enough. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice view at the mountain. Good supermarkt (Co-op) nearby.

Welcoming staff and a super cozy lounge where you can browse a solid selection of books and enjoy some free drinks. The room was spotless, and the welcome dessert—black sesame pudding—was amazing. I had it while playing jazz through their old-fashioned audio system, which made for the perfect kind of 洋風 experience. Would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Hakodate.

Far from the station, but close to the attractions, the food is average, everything else is OK

I checked into the hotel again after the epidemic. The front desk service was very polite and welcoming. The hotel is located on T-shaped street. It is very close to Mount Hakodate, the church group and Hakodate Port. The room layout is reasonable and has various hand-brewed coffees and CD players. It is also suitable for daze. I have the impression that I stayed here for the third time.
