Booking this hotel was a real hassle. I got sick right after booking and wanted to cancel, but after negotiating with Ctrip for several days and providing proof of medical treatment, they still wouldn't give me a refund! In the end, I had no choice but to stay.

The hotel is at a crossroads, four tram stops from the JR station followed by a 400-meter walk. For a small city like Hakodate, this is quite inconvenient. It's close to the Kanemori red brick factory, but it would have been better to stay near the JR station, as food and convenience stores are much more convenient there!

When I arrived at the hotel, I felt uncomfortable. It only has 10 rooms, and although it showed as fully booked that day, it didn't feel like anyone was staying there. The whole place was unusually quiet. The rooms had windows everywhere, so the sunlight was okay during the day, but it was freezing cold at night.

I wanted to leave as soon as I entered the hotel, and once I left, I really didn't want to go back. My whole body felt repulsed. I didn't think much of it at the time, but when I went to sleep that night, I realized the hotel was unclean! There was something there!!! We originally booked a 3-day stay, but something went wrong on the first night. The next morning, I grabbed my husband and we left. We didn't stay at the hotel for the next two days and switched hotels!
