Hotel Route Inn Obihiro Ekimae in Obihiro

I visited for the first time on a weekend. I've used several Route Inn hotels in regional areas many times before. Looking back, those were relatively new facilities in buildings with the same specifications as other Route Inn hotels. However, this one is an older facility. Please be aware of this. The wallpaper was peeling in the elevator hall and along the walls of the guest rooms, and the age of the facility was undeniable. For breakfast, which starts at 6:30, there was a line stretching from the restaurant to the front desk. This was the first time I'd seen such a sight. The food itself was also disappointing; there was nothing particularly Hokkaido-like, just a safe, generic breakfast menu that you could find anywhere. Now, about the hot spring. The big sign outside advertises it as a moor hot spring, but the water was colorless and transparent. It may contain some hot spring components, but it was certainly not the moor hot spring I know. I was very disappointed, especially since I had high expectations. For some reason, the showerhead in the washing area was mounted on the left side instead of the right, which made it very inconvenient to use. The saving grace was that the staff were normal.
