I booked a Dormy Inn chain hotel, and the room was quite spacious. The rooftop hot spring was excellent, and they even had a sauna and ice cream. It was also pretty quiet at night. Oh, and after 9:30 PM, they offer complimentary cold noodles as a late-night snack, which is a nice touch.

I had a really enjoyable stay at Dormy Inn Asahikawa. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it a great place to unwind after a long day of exploring.
The service was consistently good throughout my stay. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, which made the experience feel smooth and welcoming.
One of the highlights was the location—there are plenty of great food options nearby, so it was easy to find something delicious at any time. What truly elevated the stay, though, was the in-house onsen. It was a fantastic way to relax and recharge, especially after being out in the cold.
Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Asahikawa.

The room is spacious and clean. The reception was helpful and managed to explain everything clearly. The facilities are great too - we enjoyed the onsen (both indoor and outdoor are available!). No complaints given the price point and its location close to many late night eateries and Aeon mall that offers plenty of souvenir, food and shopping experience. Only thing to point out is that they failed to mention the parking costs 1000 yen per night which it's priced higher than the carpark options nearby -- could consider other alternative if you're not planning to head in and out multiple times!

I don’t know how many times I’ve stayed here, as I always coming back 😅. Not so near the station, but it’s walkable even when snowing. Onsen and late night ramen nigh ramen always nice.

Just the parking fee doesn’t make sense and didn’t tell us when check in.
Why hotel guess still need to pay for parking fee? And didn’t mention when check in and booking?

Always a comfortable stay at dormy inn, love that they provide ice creams and yakult near the entrance of the onsen. Had a very pleasant stay!

The room was quite spacious, and upon entering, there was a genkan (traditional Japanese entryway), which was very Japanese in style. The water was surprisingly super soft, and the heating worked wonderfully. They offered free shoyu ramen at night, and the rooftop onsen was really nice. After a soak, you could even enjoy a popsicle. In the mornings, they provided lactic acid drinks in the same spot, which tasted good too.

Our family really enjoyed our stay, though the bed was a bit small.

The breakfast was plentiful and varied. They offered ice cream and probiotic drinks daily, plus free ramen in the evenings. The hotel genuinely cares about its guests with such thoughtful services.

The natural hot spring was also very relaxing; we could enjoy the falling snow on our faces while soaking in the courtyard. We'll definitely stay here again next time.

The air conditioning was powerful, the hot springs were fantastic, and the room was clean. All the staff were very enthusiastic, and they even offered late-night noodles. Overall, it was excellent, highly recommended!
