My friend and I stayed in a twin room.
We checked in late after returning from the Expo, but the receptionist's kind words helped us relax.
We headed to the hotel from Kintetsu Nara Station, enjoying the beautiful cityscape. I'd definitely stay here again when I'm in Nara.

My husband and I booked a standard room with a double bed on Ctrip. But when we got to the hotel, we were told that it was only for one person, and that two people would have to pay an extra 3,850 yen, about 200 yuan.

I went to argue with Ctrip, but they were tough and official, saying it was my problem and that I didn't see the "one person" mark in a very small corner.

I said I would give a bad review, but they didn't care at all, so I left more comments

I used **, Booking, and Mafengwo to book standard rooms in Japan before, and they all defaulted to two people staying. Only Ctrip is so deceptive and has a very bad service attitude. I will never use it again!!!

The lobby is very beautiful. The tea bags provided in the room are unique. The room was upgraded to a standard room, which is spacious, but the bed is still a bit narrow at 1.2 meters. I don't like the thin quilt.

- A quaint hotel with a very atmospheric atmosphere in Nara: excellent hospitality
- Because it was a weekend, the price was higher than usual, but it was better than other places.
- It is an old model, lacks sophistication, and uses a “physical key”: Even though it was remodeled the day after the stay, there was no luggage storage service, and it is unclear whether the physical key will be used as is.
- Quiet and secluded: perfect for bringing parents
- It's not good to go out late because the hotel door is locked at dawn: I only managed to get in after asking the resident staff.
- Be careful when changing clothes as the floor number is low: curtains must be drawn.
- The lobby on the first floor is well-equipped with beverages, ice machines, foot massagers, books, etc.
- Smoking is prohibited in all rooms. If you smoke, you must do so outside in the hotel parking lot. Deer come down to the area, and nearby convenience stores close early, so you need to purchase items in advance.

The hotel looked old, but was clean and usable. Since it was a second floor room, it seemed like it could be seen from the outside. It was not far from Nara Station, so I used it well.

The room is a small Japanese-style room, not very spacious, and the suitcase can be opened. The room can open the window. There is an ice machine and a beverage machine on the first floor, which can be used at any time from day to 9 pm, and the hot towels are very considerate. There is a microwave, sofas, tables and chairs for rest. There are also books and tourist information. The front desk is very enthusiastic. The room key is obviously inductive, but the key chain has a long wooden stick, which makes it inconvenient to carry. But if you put it in your backpack casually, it may be easy to find. The location is very good, not far from the steps of Kofuku-ji Temple, and it is very convenient to go to Kasuga Taisha and feed the deer. There is also a free public bath, but after taking a look, I personally can't accept it, so I gave up. The bagged green tea provided in the room is delicious
